  6.
  7. Infinity added to CRS archives KILLCEN 05/22/15 (Fri) 16:18:19 No.359
  8.
  9. Infinity (an open-source of 8chan) is a fork of vichan, the
  10. difference is that infinity is geared towards allowing users
  11. to create their own boards. You can run this on Unix or Linux
  12. systems (such as Ubuntu). If, in the future, 8ch.net is ever
  13. censored or blocked, anyone can create an alternative 'chan'
  14. thus creating an infinite whack-a-mole for any web gestapo.

  21. Guerilla Open Tube project added to CRS archives KILLCEN 05/22/15 (Fri) 11:46:49 No.352
  22.
  23. The Guerilla Open Tube project is very unique. It is a distributed,
  24. censorship-resistant cache of YouTube videos in which participants
  25. of the project seed their downloaded Youtube videos, providing magnets
  26. within the Guerilla Open Tube repository. The more participants join,
  27. the more seeding, the bigger the repository of cached magnets. The
  28. bigger the repository, the more Youtube videos users can bit-torrent!
  29.
  30. NOTE: you'll need to install Python and learn how to create torrents.

  35. SC-Downloader XPI added to the CRS archives KILLCEN 05/21/15 (Thu) 17:41:39 No.349
  36.
  37. SC-Downloader (Soundcloud Downloader) is a simple, small
  38. add-on for Mozilla Firefox that will allow you to download
  39. soundcloud audio files without having to hack deep into the
  40. embedded servers (which would be a pain in the ass to do).
  41. This is the best soundcloud ripper add-on I could find, and
  42. many others don't even work anymore. When you click to download
  43. an audio track from soundcloud there will be a few pop-ups so
  44. just close them and right-click where it gives you a link and
  45. save the mp3 to you're harddrive. Not bad.

  53.
  54. Random Agent Spoofer Mozilla Firefox add-on rotates browser profiles
  55. (from real browsers / devices) at a user defined time interval. It
  56. includes many other privacy features. WARNING: I have no idea how this
  57. will effect cache bleaching software that is programmed to wipe specific
  58. browser history - if you specify CCleaner or Bleach Bit to bleach out cache
  59. using a specific Browser ID (ID named within the browser's directory) this
  60. add-on could conflict with that kind of software, so heads up on that.

  68.
  69. uBlock is a Mozilla Firefox add-on that prevents most advertisements and
  70. tracking networks. It is similar to Adblock Plus or Disconnect but works
  71. better and is much faster. You are in full control when using this add-on,
  72. you can program uBlock what you desire blocked and what you do not.

  79. IPFS protocol added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/28/15 (Tue) 02:30:05 No.282
  80.
  81. The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a new peer-to-peer hypermedia
  82. distribution protocol, addressed by content and identities. IPFS enables
  83. the creation of completely distributed applications. It aims to make the
  84. web faster, safer, and more open. IPFS is similar to the Web, but IPFS
  85. could be seen as a single BitTorrent swarm, exchanging objects within
  86. one Git repository. In other words, IPFS provides a high throughput
  87. content-addressed block storage model, with content-addressed hyperlinks.
  88. Users are able to store, share and even open files between remote computers
  89. using the new IPFS protocol. Video presentations included.

  94. Ricochet added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/22/15 (Wed) 16:39:31
  95.
  96. Ricochet is an open source, multi-platform, instant messaging
  97. software project originally developed by John Brooks and later
  98. adopted as the official instant messaging client project of the
  99. Invisible.im (pro-privacy) group. Ricochet doesn't trust anyone
  100. with your identity, your contact list, or your communications.
  101. You can chat without exposing your IP address to anyone. Nobody
  102. can discover who your contacts are or when you talk (metadata-free).
  103. There are no servers or operators to compromise that could access
  104. your information, it is peer-to-peer, fully decentralized.

  111. TorChat + Pidgin Plugin added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/22/15 (Wed) 16:37:02
  112.
  113. TorChat is a decentralized peer-to-peer instant messenger built
  114. on top of Tor's location hidden services. There is also a plugin
  115. for the Pidgin client as well. TorChat clients communicate with
  116. each other by using Tor to contact the other's hidden service
  117. and exchanging status information, chat messages and other data
  118. over the onion-routed connection.

  125. Maelstrom Browser added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/20/15 (Mon) 16:37:07
  126.
  127. The Beta version of the P2P Maelstrom Browser has been released
  128. to the public. Similar to ZeroNet, MeowBit and MAIDSAFE [(all of
  129. those also available in the additional CRS archive)] the Maelstrom
  130. Browser focuses on peer-to-peer and bittorrent protocols to share
  131. and deliver new website content so that no government would be able
  132. to shut down a website if one or more nodes are seeding the content.
  133. If this project gains enough recognition and publicity, censorship
  134. could become a thing of the past. I hope to see The Pirate Bay crowd
  135. flocking to this soon.

  143.
  144. Bleep is an instant messaging program that doesn’t store your metadata and
  145. helps you with encrypted communication to keep your online conversations
  146. private. It is a decentralised, peer-to-peer voice and text communications
  147. platform that offers end-to-end encryption making use of the BitTorrent
  148. distributed network rather than a centralised server. Bleep was released
  149. back in July 2014. The Mac OS X version was released September 2014.

  157.
  158. SuperNET is an association of the most reliable blockchain technologies.
  159. SuperNET itself is not a cryptocurrency but a decentralized arena where
  160. volunteer participants can donate their time and money to support radical
  161. new cryptocurrency initiatives. The idea behind SuperNET is simple but
  162. powerful: to create a mutually beneficial network of coins that offer real
  163. innovation. It will take the form of a basket of key cryptocurrencies and
  164. revenue-generating services. You may be required to have basic technical
  165. experience to use such services as booting up SuperNET requires using a
  166. terminal a series of command prompts.

  171. Adium added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/18/15 (Sat) 18:34:44
  172.
  173. Adium is a free and open source instant messaging client for OS X
  174. that supports multiple IM networks, including Windows Live Messenger,
  175. Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, AIM, ICQ and XMPP. Adium features OTR
  176. (off-the-record) encryption. I also threw in the "Plain Text plug-in"
  177. for those who fancy an old-school text messaging interface. (A reminder:
  178. OTR encryption will not guarantee true security, you should also use
  179. long passwords and use fail-safe tactics such as forward secrecy if
  180. you desire to ensure communications remain truly private. Loose lips
  181. sink ships, still true today no matter what kind of encyption used).

  189.
  190. Telegram Desktop is a messaging app with a focus on speed and security,
  191. it’s super fast, simple and free. Telegram does not store or sell user
  192. information. What users choose to disclose remains 100% up to them.
  193. Telegram messages are heavily encrypted and can be set to self-destruct.
  194. Telegram servers are spread worldwide for security and speed, and it is
  195. also open source so anyone can check and review the source code as well.

  202. Bitcoin Messaging System added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/18/15 (Sat) 15:24:39
  203.
  204. The Bitcoin Messaging System is a proof-of-concept of a pseudonymous
  205. and decentralized messaging system based on the virtual currency Bitcoin.
  206. Messages are embedded into regular Bitcoin transactions, distributed over
  207. Bitcoin's underlying P2P network and stored in the transaction ledger,
  208. the blockchain. The messaging system’s binding to the blockchain ledger
  209. transaction system would make government blocking impossible without also
  210. blocking Bitcoin itself – which would be rather difficult to pull off due to
  211. the fact of it being so decentralized and used on a global scale, and now
  212. also used by international corporations making it even more unlikely to be
  213. censored or attacked by any government (although, you can't rule out sheer
  214. stupidity which most governments fall very vulnerable to when desperate).

  219. Greatfire added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/16/15 (Thu) 13:18:50
  220.
  221. In March 2015, Greatfire services on Github were under heavy DDOS
  222. attacks originating from China. Greatfire is used by many people in
  223. China to bypass the Chinese firewall and access forbidden websites.
  224. Github has recently mitigated this threat and Greatfire is now available
  225. to the public again. I have decided to mirror these services to the CRS
  226. archives. These services can be used to circumvent government censorship:

  233. Circumventor added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/15/15 (Wed) 14:35:54
  234.
  235. The Circumventor is an old program, no doubt, it only works with
  236. Windows 2000 and XP. However, I decided to add this to the Censorship
  237. Resistant Archives regardless it being out-of-date. This program may
  238. be a bit of a hastle to use, it works like this: if you are at work,
  239. on a work computer and there are restrictions to what you can access,
  240. you can install this program on a seperate computer (not censored)
  241. which will create a remote proxy connection for you to access using
  242. you're work computer next time you're on it. This way, you can bypass web
  243. restrictions through the other computer that you installed Circumventor.

  250. IPFlood (aka IPFuck) added to CRS archives KILLCEN 04/03/15 (Fri) 02:20:05
  251.
  252. IPFlood (aka IPFuck) is a firefox addon created to simulate the use of a proxy.
  253. With this addon installed and enabled, and if a lot of us use it, there will no
  254. longer be any way to know who is using a real IP. When sending a request to a
  255. server you will provide several information about your IP address: three of them
  256. come from the Application Layer and the last one comes from the Transport Layer.
  257. The three Application Layer headers were created to provide information on the
  258. real IP of a person surfing through a proxy server. When you enable IPFuck, those
  259. three Application Layer headers are spoofed. The websites you are visiting will
  260. believe that your real IP is a proxy server. If enough people use this XPI, this
  261. can create a complicated problem for third parties and government snoops.
