******STATS********
STR vs DEX

tl;dr: STR is better than DEX until extremely good gear, and then DEX is better for high base damage skills, but even then the difference is negligable.
DEX also provides a massive amount of Evasion and Accuracy, which can save money on potions and is great for PvP.
Someone with a pure STR build will miss a ton of skills on someone with a pure DEX build.

CON
I'd recommend getting just enough CON so that you feel comfortable.  Usually around 70 is fine for most things.
Full support classes that don't rely on stats for buffs or damage (like Cryo3Chrono3 or "tanks") can just put every point in CON.

SPR
Alchemist potions are so strong that it's almost never worth investing in the SPR stat as a damage based class.
Priest C3's Stone Skin that scales extremely well with SPR but it was recently nerfed on kToS.  Chaplain's Aspergilium also scales well with SPR.
Most skills don't scale well enough for this stat to be worth investing in.

INT
If you're playing a damage based class with magic damage, you put points in this. Not much else to say.


********Swordsman********
Class note: Peltasta C1 is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED because it's the only class in the game that can easily and effectively pull huge groups.

Fencer doesn't have the damage output of Doppels, because they're more expensive to fund.
Barbarian brings stuns, highlander brings armor break.  Fencer has a slash debuff that benefits both Barb and Highlander main abilities.

Hoplite version is the best, Shinobi clones can ONLY USE SWORDSMAN AND SHINOBI skills.  Hoplite gives a piercing debuff, which adds damage to Kunai.

Tanks DO NOT!!! exist in this game, don't think for a second anyone will want you to stand there holding C instead of doing damage when possible.
HopSquireGoon lets you take Squire to C2 without completely destroying your damage output.
You'll be able to open shops in town to repair people's gear as well as have weapon maint 10 for a great damage buff.
Base Camp lets your party teleport to it, so it's good for farming large maps, Refreshments give good buffs for long durations.

Sword C3 is for restrain, Cata has a lot of multihit skills and you can stunlock people to death with Rush.  Pelt>Hop is to make PvE easier.
Impale lets you pick up players and run a round with them on your spear.  Looks hilarious and is great for picking up vital targets and carrying them back to your team.

Shinobi clones can only use Shinobi skills, Swordsman skills, and normal attacks.
This build focuses on buffing normal attacks with Dual Wield Assault and Swordsman C3 buffs, and using Double Slash with all the clones.
Destroy bosses in seconds! It's a meme because the clone AI is horrendous and unreliable, and you have zero damage output until Corsair C2.



***********Wizard***********
Class note: Wizard C3 gives Quickcast.  It lowers cast times on NON CHANNELED abilities by 50% and increases magic damage by 50% with 100% uptime.

X can be literally any class you want it to be.  Wizard C3 lowers cast times and increases damage by 50%.  Elementalist has high damage long cast time abilities.

Pyromancer C2 alone is enough to carry you through most of the game.  Linker adds utility for group play and you can link your fireballs to monsters.
Alchemists with PryoLinker will have no problem farming solo, and still bring enough utility to parties to be accepted.
Featherfoot's single target skills are applied to all linked targets, creating massive bloodbaths and cursing lots of enemies.

Thaumaturge has the ability to increase a monster's size and health, but double their drops.
They can also reverse ground based abilities and turn them on their caster.
It also can give everyone in your party a physical/magical attack buff that goes amazing with Pyromancer due to the way multi-hit abilities work.
Thaumaturge C3 gives everyone 150 INT, which isn't really worth it in most cases, but it makes their heads double in size which looks hilarious.

Wizard C3 has surespell to protect against spell interruption, and Psychokino's main damage spells are channeled.
Psychokino can lock down lots of monsters while dealing great damage to them.  Raise turns monsters into flying type, which increases Archer damage.

Frost Pillar sucks in unlimited enemies and they can't move out of it.  Snow Rolling also disables large groups of enemies that move around with the Cryomancer.
Haste is the only party-wide movement speed buff in the game, and people will love you for it.
Pass removes 25 seconds from everyone in the party's cooldowns and they will love you for it.
Your solo damage will be horrible.

Really anything will work as long as it has Linker C3, because the focus isn't your damage at all, your only purpose is to go a stat that want to share with your teammates and use Lifeline.
DO NOT do this build unless you're coordinating with a group of friends, you will be useless in most pub situations.  Commonly stack DEX to supply it to full STR archers/swordsmen.  Shares quickcast
with everyone in the party.

Psychokino, Pyromancer, and Cryomancer have an interaction between Ice Wall, Fireball, and Psychic Pressure that does amazing ice damage for a few seconds then has to wait 1 minute to do it again.
This build boosts that damage even further by getting Quick Cast for +50% magic damage and Rune of Ice for +300% ice damage.  "xXBossxKillerXx"

Ranger received some extreme nerfs to Steady Aim on iToS, Ranger C2 only offers 5% more damage on Steady Aim and a slight increase to Barrage damage.
Scout provides invisibility and increased movement speed, excellent for walking through dangerous maps.
Archer C3 provides 5 extra hits on Multishot, and has Twin Shot which is a decent single target damage skill that's completely outclassed by Barbed Arrow.
Magic Arrow is the highest DPS skill in the game by far.

Falconer's Circling increases the amount of targets your party's AoE skills can hit, great for both Cannoneer and Musketeer.
Archer C3 > Musketeer is the closest to a meme build Archer has based around Kneeling Shot attack speed bonus and Running Shot attack speed and damage bonus with a Musket.
Schwarzer Reiter is a mounted Crossbow + Pistol class.  It has decent damage output and mobility.

Either by hidden interaction or bug, Feint makes Barrage hit 10 times instead of 5.  Solid build, but much lower damage output compared to other other meta archers.

AI in this game is complete trash and your pets will never do what you want, but you can have 2 of them!  You will have no AoE until Falconer, then you'll have shit AoE.  Great in PvP though.

You can capture you traps and lay them again!  Pretty nifty, but Sapper damage falls off late game and Rogue doesn't help much.  3 minute cooldown, worthless but people played it often in iCBT2.


*********Cleric**********
Class note: Cleric Heal skill gets MUCH more potent per skill point.  10 is more than enough for any current content.

DAMAGE BUILDS:  **Keep in mind that if you're the only cleric in party, healing injured party members will provide overall higher DPS and smoother party play.

Diev still has great utility, may be worth taking Dievdirbys C2 at Rank 7.  Paladin damage on anything other than demons is extremely low, but acceptable on Demons.
Barrier is a great utility, when it works, and Restoration has an attribute to give you SP as well as HP, meaning you'll never need potions.  Resist Elements is pretty good.
If you go Pardoner at Rank 7 you can sell Barrier scrolls, which may be useful someday.

Except Pandemic is super finnicky and hardly ever works and Bokor sucks because of bad zombie AI.

Once upon a time, Sadhu had one of the highest DPS outputs of any class, while still being able to support decently.  Their attack speed and damage were cut in half, and they are now completely worthless.  RIP.
