BACKSTORY:

If you've turned on the trid in the past year, you've probably flipped past advertisements for Horizon's newest hit, Feline Force. Part COPS, part soap opera, it chronicles the lives and missions of a team of special forces run by Horizon, who all have obvious feline features like cat ears, slit pupils, and tails. It's done quite well in the ratings by design, as each member of the Feline Force was genetically crafted in a cloning facility to fit archetypes designed for the show, to maximize its demographic appeal and watchability. Enkidu was the bad-boy heartthrob of the group, a rebel without a cause and with a machine gun. Unfortunately for Horizon, it turns out memetically conditioning someone to be a rebel has side effects, and in the season one finale of Feline Force, Enkidu and another member, Brynhildr, faked their deaths and escaped Horizon. Fleeing as far from LA as they could, the two of them ended up in Louisville, Kentucky, hoping to lay low for enough of a period of time that Horizon figures that they actually did die in that explosion (despite Horizon wasting no time in decanting another pair of replacements for them, to start the next season off with an amnesia storyline).

Enkidu (now calling himself Enlil) is a tall man with slender features (belying his strength and physical ability), with a pair of prominent cat ears sticking out of the top of his head. He does not have human ears at all. His face is designed to have the perfect bad-boy scowl at all times due to muscular reshaping done in vitro. His hair is black naturally, though he's dyed it blonde since arriving in Kentucky. He has blue eyes. He typically dresses to cover his feline features, wearing knit caps or other hats to cover his ears and jeans or other long pants to hide his tail. He typically passes off his slitted eyes as contacts to those who ask, or wears dark glasses to hide them. He has had minor plastic surgery done after his escape to make him stand out less (and be less recognizable). He has perfect stubble, modified to never require maintenance beyond washing.
