  1. Basic idea for the mod:

  3. It adds random encounters that can happen anywhere on the surface (or possibly underneath) the planet at any time. These don't just get spawned once upon landing on the planet for the first time but will continue to happen for as long as you remain on the planet. There should probably be a limit on how many are active at once, however, so the planet doesn't lag as its inundated with new NPCs. Also optionally, they could be coded to move towards a certain location, such as a town, dungeon, or your colony. Another thing to consider is some means of controlling the cooldown time inbetween random events.

  7. Hostile faction x spawns in an area/is moving towards point y.

  9. Random boss monsters that appear anywhere/will move toward points of interest

  11. Ruin-based entities that do the same thing, but maybe arrive via meteor or something/convert terrain maybe? The latter is probably impossible though.

  13. Caravans of friendly NPCS that wander the planet for awhile and sell goods/set up shop for awhile before teleporting away. You can buy from them or rob them depending on playstyle. Maybe crates will spawn containing goods?

  15. Explorers will beam down and begin cutting down and harvesting trees/mining/hunting for a bit before teleporting away (Might need gardenbot scripts for this so I dunno.) Interaction ideas include asking them for money to do so, as you "own" the land. May result in acceptance, polite refusal, or violence depending on random variables.

  17. Two significant forces will spawn near each other and begin to engage each other in combat. (I dunno what to do with this really, just throwing it out there.)
