[align=justify]Jack O'Neill was born on Planet Manhattan in 772A.S. His Parents Sarah and Malcolm O'Neill worked for Deep Space Engineering as technicians aboard Baltimore Shipyard. Because of this he was mainly raised and guided by his grandparents. As all kids, he also wanted to become a Navy officer but unlike many others he kept his dream. However his family, mainly his father, did not even wanted to hear about such a thing.

[color=#1E5BAB][i]Adolescence[/i][/color]
At the age of 16 he applied at West Point against the will of his father. When the reply from West Point arrived that he was accepted and Jack told this to his parents, they denied this without any hesitation. After many long arguments his father finally accepted this. Jack went to West Point and after years of learning and training he finally graduated with excellent results, and was taken aboard the Missouri as a fighter pilot.

[color=#1E5BAB][i]Family and Career[/i][/color]
During these years on a leave, he met a girl named Samantha Turner in one of the bars of Manhattan. And a year later in 792A.S. they got married, bought a house and 9 months later a son was born into the family. 6 years later Jack was promoted to the rank of Captain and was assigned to command one of the new dreadnoughts the navy constructed. This ship was the LNS-Odyssey. The ship itself was assigned to patrol the Kepler and the Galileo systems along with Colorado.

[color=#1E5BAB][i]Treason[/i][/color]
In 800 A.S. after the destruction of the RNC-Donau the ship was called back for maintenance. Jack used this opportunity to visit his Samantha and his son Charlie. But something was wrong. His direct superiors have started to being replaced or simply disappear. Feeling something strange is at work, he ordered his first officer to go back to the Galileo system as soon as possible even if he is not on board. He told him that if this happens he will meet them there. 1 week had passed since this and the maintenance was almost complete. Jack was on his way home when he noticed that he was being followed. When he arrived at his homestead after a 2 hour flight, what he'd seen frightened him. The doors where breached. The house left a disaster. He dropped down the few things he brought home from the nearby market and started to search for his wife and son. Found upstairs, dead on the floor, and by their side a navy officer and an LSF agent. When they spotted him they started shoot within a fraction of time. He managed to escape and get to his parents. When he entered their house he saw that they where already dead along with his grandparents and friends. He went back to the launchpad to board his fighter and went into the Galileo system. The Odyssey wasn't there yet though he knew its only a matter of time. The next day a ship appeared on his radar. The Odyssey has arrived. After docking and explaining everything to his first officer he learned that he wasn't the only one. Many members of the crew have lost their loved ones. He knew if they stay here the navy will appear soon. So they went into a remote system where they could decide what to do. They brainstormed the plan of action to gather information undercover.

[color=#1E5BAB][i]5th Fleet[/i][/color]
After some weeks they made contact with many organizations such as the Order or the Liberty Rogues. They learned what is happening and decided to gather a fleet and do as much harm to the infected navy as they can. They eventually united 3 more dreadnoughts and some cruisers. This fleet was the 5th| fleet. Gathering many loyal navy officers and with joint forces they started a guerilla war against the navy. Jack and his fellow Captains of the other 3 dreadnoughts knew that they aren't strong enough to face the entire navy but they are strong enough to weaken it.

[color=#1E5BAB][i]Battle of Alaska[/i][/color]
In 801A.S. after several attacks on nomad infected stations and bases they got intell about a huge group of nomads and infected gathering in the Alaska system. Jack and the others gathered all of their forces and stormed the system. But they did not know that the infected knew they are coming. They've sent a strike team to Juneau to capture or destroy ships and gather data. A massive battle took place and 2 of the 4 dreadnoughts where destroyed along with 2 of the 3 cruisers. The fighters where taken down like flies. Fortunately the strike team returned just before the infected managed to block the jumpgate. They escaped but only barely. They gathered intell about a new type of satellite. One that could detect cloaked vessels. They contacted the undercover Order agent on Buffalo base. This was the only thing they could do. Their forces were weak. Their numbers small.

After the nomad war he was promoted again to Fleet Admiral. However the fleet was dissolved after the navy regained its strength. They Odyssey was ordered back to Norfolk for repairs and then was reassigned to patrol the Alaska system.
Many years have passed since then. A new war with the Rheinlanders has started and the Odyssey was assigned to the Rheinlandic front. Another threat appeared in the most recent years on the borders of Liberty, the Kingdom of Gallia. Since Gallia took over Leeds Jack knew that he must gather the other 5th| members once again. After re-organizing the fleet they still keep fighting even today.
