  4. He flew atop the apex of the tower; his pearly white exterior gleaming in the sunshine of Gran Pulse’s sky. The foilery across the Archylte Steppe swayed in the soft breeze, the smell of fresh water from the Haerii falls lingered in the breeze. Dahaka lured us to Taejin’s tower. We flew atop Bahamut, my eidolon, whose scaly wings quavered vigorously in the air. He flew towards the Haerii Archaeopolis where numerous Cie’th took refuge in its ruined edifice. Nelapsi flew with their organic brown wings flapping in the air, making the place look like a little home for Cie’th. We soon flew across the Sulyya Springs where the fal’Cie Bismarck bathes in the waters of Pulse. Sahagins and Hedgefrogs flood the area from top to bottom. And then we reach the Palisades, a barren wasteland with the fallen Taejin’s tower, our destination. And again, he flew atop the apex of the tower, and still his pearly white exterior gleams.

  6. We enter the tower; colossal and futuristic. Numerous Menhirrim statues were placed directly in the middle. Taxims stood carelessly around the statues, surrounding them like children at a wedding party. The neon blue lights of the tower colored their bodies a deep shade of blue, their blunt and bland rocky exterior appeared different from the Cie’th of Cocoon, who were more lavish in that they had crystalline bodies. Then numerous bat-like cries and synthesized cries flooded the room, impressively small Conchons and flying Varacolis flew from the top of the tower, down the whole length of it. They were so loud that we were not able to think of what to do so I went with instinct and charged forward and attacked. Soon after the whole party started attacking. Casting Ruin and Blitz left and right, Haste and Bravera went up and down, soon after the fight, the elevator descended down what appears to be a long music box-like mechanism. As the elevator went up, music would play and Pulse lore claims that if taken down fully it will play a tune that would summon a flying Bituitus, a certain Undying, to head down to the base of the tower and battle with the people who have descended the tower.

  8. When the elevator arrived at the apex, Dahaka was flying around the tower taunting us. I was in no mood to be taunted, so I run straight up at Dahaka, throw my crystal and call to Bahamut. Swooping down the clouds, Bahamut hovers nearby. I jump on and fly towards Dahaka. I try to get close to him and take him down. Since his body is made of large circles, I ruin the links between 2 of the 4 links in his body, he then lands at the exact center of the tower and reveals his extremely orientated façade. I fly down close to the tower and drop off of Bahamut. I tell my teammates: Lightning, Snow, Sazh, Hope and Vanille to help me take down Dahaka. They all offer to help and we beat him with a barrage of magic spells. “Firaga! Thundaga! Aeroga! Waterga!” we yelled as he cast Poison against us, we were strong and use Esuna to remove the poison effect. We then stagger him, and paradigm shift to Cerberus, all of us attack with all our might and take down Dahaka. Soon after he has been annihilated, he summons an elevator from the collapsed part of the tower. He tells us Oerba waits on the other side and flies off. My and Vanille’s hopes rise and we embrace each other as we’re returning to our home for over 500 years. We get on the elevator and finally the door opens to reveal crystalline sand, we look out and the Village Proper lies ahead. We were at Oerba, 500 years in the future.
