  1. After asking around a bit on base some while recovering and giving your injured Pokémon some TLC, a few soldiers suggest a place they call Mine 3. They say back around the war of independence it was a very busy place, practically fueling Alieen's rebels of all their munitions, steel and other raw supplies. Lumber and coal alike was funneled here in mass. After WW2, though, it sort of...withered away. They aren't exactly sure why, just that interest and need for it dried up and it became a ghost town. Sort of a spooky place and an urban legend of sorts. It's not exactly the ruins you imagined, but it seems to be your best shot. Not that far out of town either...

  3. ------------
  4.
  5. When you arrive at the scene, you find an actual ghost town, like you'd imagine in the wild west of Unova, and an old mine entrance with a cart track coming from it. Seems like you guys could go either direction here in terms of investigating it.
  6.
  7. ------------
  8.
  9. Walking into the ghost town you come to realize this was more than just for workers; this was an entire mining town at one point. Most the buildings appear to have been housing units for everyone who lived here, and on that count most have rotted away and collapsed. Among the still standing structures you spot what looks like a schoolhouse and hospital in one. There's also a stone structure that has a rusted sign out front, looks like it might have been the general store at some point. There's also the remains of a bar still standing, as well as a church and cemetery. The church seems to have suffered from a fire at some point. Probably the most foreboding thing you see is a shack on the corner of the complex that looks like it might have been for whatever law enforcement was here. And a tree overlooking it with a noose still hung from one of its branches. A Murkrow caws from this tree, watching you casually.
  10.
  11. Other Pokémon activity isn't immediately obvious to you. Though if you had to say the safest looking structures to enter appear to be the church, bar or hospital.
  12.
  13. -----------
  14.
  15. Chase: You enter the bar to find it's interior strangely...well maintained. It's clean, floor is safe to walk on, and at the bar you see an Abra snoozing beside a very aged bottle of gin. If you had to guess you'd say he found the place, cleaned it up and raided whatever was left behind. What's creepy however is you find a giant door for a freezer that's locked, but you can feel the cool air behind it...kitchen is way less maintained, mind you.
  16.
  17. Genevieve: The hospital is one creepy ass place. It's obvious whatever happened here, people left in a panic. While it seems people came back later to remove the bodies of patients that were not evacuated in time, ghosts roam this place freely. While most of them seem to be Shuppets that avoid you, a particularly buttholish Sableye keeps following you around and trying to spook you by possessing model skeletons, jumping out of corners and such. The reaction of which is up to you~ Roll me Perception when you get to this, however.
  18.
  19. Rosetta: The Murkrow seems amused by your show of authority and flutters off a bit, onto the roof of the shack. It seems it's daring you to follow it.
  20.
  21. ----------
  22.
  23. Chase: As you play your music the Abra slowly stirs awake, nods along, and telekinesis's over a dusty old banjo from the floor. It starts to try to mimic your tune. Then...BAM, BAM, BAM. And than an otherworldly screech Comes from the kitchen. The music ceases at once as you both look at each other like 'the fuck was that?' The commotion also causes a Drowzee to wake up with a clang from behind the counter, seems it was covered in bottles. A Medicham scurries out from under a table with a little martini glass. The Abra waits for your action to decide it's own, but the other two drunkenly stumble the fuck out of there.
  24.
  25. Genevieve: You hear a faint singing as you pass one room, and duck your head in to find a Misdreavus singing away while looking out a window longingly to the moon. She looks to you as you enter, and fades away, though the singing persists. In this room you also notice a glow from the bedside. There's a vase of dark flowers with a purple glow in the moonlight. Roll me Education: Science to identify those. Outside of that, there's an old medical log by the bed side. It's missing all the paperwork but from what you can tell there was at some point an older man here with a terminal lung disease of some sorts. You aren't for sure but given the symptoms you're seeing you think he might have had lung cancer from the mines. Also is a note about don't throw the flowers out that keep appearing by his bed side...his Pokemon is bringing them to him.
  26.
  27. Rosetta: The Murkrow caws - almost like a laugh - as you show this display, and scampers off through the roof tops of the place. You follow it a bit until it leads you to the ruins of a household. You knock a Seedot out of a tree as you go along this path, though. Seems to KO itself as it hits the ground. At the ruins, the murkrow perches atop a...large, metal, ovular vessel of sorts that seems to have crashed into it. And then flies on down into an opening on its under side with another taunting KAW.
  28.
  29. ----------------
  30.
  31. Chase: The door gets knocked up a bit, and with the banging from the other side falls off its hinges with a heavy SLAM. Thing musta been solid lead or something! Inside stands a Weavile wearing a headdress and coat of feathers and skins of various Pokemon. It's claws are retracted, seems it punched the wall down with your assistance. It eyes you warily, and drops to all fours as it starts to retch - you think it's gonna puke, but instead it coughs out a blue, crystal-like stone, and gives you one last glance before it's gone in an instant, moving so fast you barely caught a blur of it's exit. The ice inside begins to thaw as it leaves...leaving just that stone, and near the rear the frozen remains of a Beheeyem clutching some sorta ruined device. The Abra is just as confused as you are.
  32.
  33. Genevieve: The rest of the hospital is certainly spooky but anything of substantial value or merit was long looted or snagged away. The Sableye is currently wearing a model skull and pretending to be some sorta floating demonhead but it just looks utterly silly. The Shuppets seem very aloof as well.
  34.
  35. Rosetta: The Murkrow certainly gets zapped and sorta flops over with a...kaw. It's not KO'd but it seems it lost the motivation to continue messing with someone faster than it. The UFO is completely wrecked on the inside. Elgyems lay dead all over, though one seems to be still frozen in a cryostatis thing. This sadly is less miraculous than you might think at first because humanity has achieved substantial space exploration capabilities, and currently has settlements on the moon. Not to mention this sorta phenomenia has been recorded to happen on rare occasion with these guys and Clefaries. You do find some sorta alien blaster gun of sorts, but it's defunct, far as you can tell.
