- Roasted Salsa
- How about some roasted salsa?
- So here is what you'll need!
- Ingredients :
- 6-8 roma tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 medium onion
- 4 jalapeños
- 2 Anaheim chilies
- 6-10 tomatillos
- Juice from 1 lime
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1/4 cup of water(if needed)
- Directions:
- 1. In a big pan (or comal if you have on) roast tomatoes, jalapeños , Anaheim chilies, and tomatillos on each side until dark (or desired roasted)
- 2. Cut up onion into chunks and put into blender a long with garlic. After others are roasted, add into blender as well. Salt and pepper to taste and add lime and water.
- 3. Blend all ingredients together until mixed well. And it's done!! Make sure to add salt if needed!
- And yes!! This is a non-cooked salsa!! you don't need to cook this down unless it is too watery!!!! its delicious as it is!!! Now grab some chip bags, and eat it up!!
