- Your head felt heavy, it had been over 5 hours since you entered through the large brass doors of the library and you still had 100 more pages to go, before you the heavy book's pages melt into one another, the tiny words in new times roman seem to slowly move across the page like an army of ants, before you even realize it you've fallen asleep on top of page 435, a slight trail of drool out of the corner of your mouth
- outside the window the moon slowly rises, the sunset is filled with the generic mix of purple and orange and the sun turns a deep red before going over the horizon, soon all is dark except for the intermittent flashes of firefly girls looking for mates in the forest, and all is silent except the chorus of grasshopper and cicada girls who repeatedly cry for a lover to come to them.
- your first indication that you're being woken is the tug on your shoulder, followed by a feminine whisper "S-sir! Visiting hours are over... Please?" you are loathe to wake up be eventually rouse open one of your eyes, only to find a giant eye staring back at you "A-are you awake?!" you jump back to get a better view and perhaps escape
- "O-oh my!" the now apparent cyclops responds to your backlash "P-please sir, I need to restack, if you're done could you please leave?" a young cyclops with a short pixie haircut stands in front of you, her black schoolgirl uniform contrasts her deep black eye that stares intently at you, with her mouth slightly curled in fear.
- ever the hero you decide to respond by grabbing her hand, causing her to jump in mixed confusion and fear "are you sure you don't want any help?" you shake her stiff arm in as friendly a manner as you can "name's anon, what are you doing up so late in here?" you smile and she blushes slightly at your sudden openness
- "S-sir, this is a library, please stop." she retracts her hand as she suddenly regains her sense and looks at you with curious but guarded eyes. "I need you to return the book you were reading, please." her expression turns to slight annoyance at you
- "I'm sorry, I was just hoping that I could help out, you seem a bit stressed" you stand up and offer a proper handshake, she reacts slowly and delicately "I appreciate the offer, but it just wouldn't work out, thank you, I really do appreciate it" she stresses this point before standing to the side and pointing toward the exit
- "well okay then, take care" you sigh and wave at her as you walk toward the doors again, you look back one final time into the dark corridors before pulling the heavy brass knob, only to be responded by the blowing of the door refusing to open, you try again and again but it refuses to budge.
- Your efforts however do regain the attention of the cyclops girl, who comes running to you "No noise please!" she yelps before you ask her for help, after a short discussion you both realize you're locked inside without anyway out until the administrator comes back in the morning.
- "so, while we're here why don't I help you on your stacking?" you smile at her again with just a hint of irony in your voice. She looks down at her shoes and sighs "O-Okay, I suppose that it is probably for the best" she sighs again and walks ahead, leading you to one of the many corridors
- the work itself is pretty simple, she hands you a book from a cart before barking out a number on the shelf and then moving, you finish two corridors within ten minutes at which point she stops and leans on the cart while breathing heavily "y-you're pretty good, we could finish up within an hour at this rate" she blushes slightly, content to do a good job.
- "not as good as you" you reply to her compliment "do you have a list or did you memorize all of it?" she stands up straight "well, truth be told I just naturally learned it, I spend a lot of time in here anyway so I was ecstatic when the administrator took me on as his apprentice" she smiles and looks at you "and why were you here anyway?" she tilts her head.
- "Oh me, I was studying for a chemistry midterm, didn't even notice when it turned dark" you laugh slightly and she laughs with you, although now there's something different in her smile "T-that's very admirable anon, I didn't take you for the studious type" you stare at one another for a few seconds before the silence settles again, at which point she blushes deeply "W-WELL! back to work!" she turns around and pushed the cart into the next corridor
- the two of you continue talking intermittently throughout her work in organizing the shelves, you learn various things about her. she likes cats more than dogs, her favorite color is pink but she says it's blue to not seem girly, and her birthday was coming up on in 2 weeks but she didn't celebrate it. You made a mental note to buy her a cake or something and ask her to hang out that day.
- before either of you realize it you've eached the end of the corridors, both of you are breathing heavily from the work and the book cart is empty except of one or two books on the bottom tram "hey why are these still left?" you motion to pick them up but she stands in the way "don't bother" her smile is the same as before, but her eye denotes a tinge of worry. "those are special books, we don't let them get mixed with the regular selection." she laughs nervously before changing the subject
- "I see" you nod and drop the issue, she had her reasons. the two of you continue talking while she cleans up the main desk, eventually she excuses herself to go the bathroom and you hang around for a bit. taking the opportunity to check out those books she had hidden before.
- You pick up the first and read aloud "Cyclopism as a hereditary malformation" the cover has a purple fetus with one eye that bulges and divides into two irises. "ouch" you mutter and put it back in place before picking up the next book "Monster girls as an inferior race" the front has a flag and cross.
- "what are you doing!" her voice is accusative as you turn around with the book still in your hands "OH hey" you quickly grab it and place it back on the cart as if it will completely erase your earlier exploration "I was just curious... to learn?" yeah that was a lame excuse.
- "if you were so interested then you should have asked me first!" her eye expressively shows rage and her hands ball up at her side "I told you not to look at them" her face goes completely emotionless as though she's deep in thought "um, hello?" you try to snap her out of it, she looks at you again, her previous rage comepletely forgotten
- "Oh hi anon, it's okay, I understand it was a mistake" she smiles sweetly and hangs forward, revealing that she has no bra on. she winks at you which fails hilariously but it's obviously not a time to laugh about it. "we still have quite a bit of time before the sun comes up" you glance at your watch and confirm, that it is in fact only 2:37 giving the two of you quite a bit of together time
- "so anyway, how close are you and the administrator?" you try to redirect the conversation from where it seemed to be heading. she looks a little annoyed but pleases your inquiry "oh she's like a mother to me, I was all alone before she took me in and taught me the wondrous truths of this library, I owe my life to her" she smiles and scoots closer, placing her hand in your laps which reveal scarring all over her lower wrist
- something was going on.
- you aren't a man to ignore another being's plight, especially someone who you cared about as a friend "What are these?" you point at her sleeves, she looks away and mutters "eh, nandatte?" you're not going to drop the issue, you force her to look at you in the eye uh eyes "I said, where did these come from?" you grab the sleeves and push them back, revealing a heavy assortment of scratches and scar, some of them still fresh with reddened flesh
- "O-Oh... those" she looks up at you with a jeering look in her face, her eye glowing an unnatural red "I was a troublesome child but it's okay now, now I know the truth so you don't need to worry about me!" she smiles again but now you can tell it's as fake as a two dollar bill. "you know if anything's wrong you can speak to me" you stroke her arm with your hand, tracing her scars.
- she blushes in response and giggles a bit "t-thanks anon, but right now there are more important things to think about" she lifts her face and immediately plants her lips on yours, deeply exploring your mouth with her tongue, her eye shines red and you nearly give in, but deep down you know she's still not okay
- you rip your mouth from hers even if deep down you want to continue "are you sure?" you put your hands on her shoulders and shake her lightly "are you sure there isn't anything wrong? I want to help you." your eyes are full of worry and for a second she looks as if she's going to give in.
- she tears herself from your hold and turns around, sulking for a few seconds before whispering "there's nothing you can do to help" she's beginning to shake and you can hear her sobbing slightly "t-there's no cure... for being a monster after all" she manages to say this before turning around and revealing tears spilling freely from her eye.
- "what do you mean? you're no monster" you grab her hand and pull her close to you but she continues crying without reserve "LIAR!" her screams sounds out throughout the library and echoes over and over "you lie, if I'm no different... If I'm not a monster! then why do my parents refuse to look me in the eye!" she shakes in your grasp and her sobbing only intensifies "why do all the other kids refuse to talk to me" "why why why why why!!!" she screams over and her sobs and screams mix into one yell of despair
- "All... I ever... wanted... was for someone to tell me... that I'm beautiful" she's on her knees with her hands supporting her while her tears wet the floor in front of her" she quiets down and her sobbing slowly disappears at this point you're not sure what to do, realizing you're no Dr. Phil.
- "but it's okay" her face rises and she smiles crazily "it's okay because I've been studying!" she stands up and hugs you strongly "I know now that there's a way for me to be normal! I'm going to beat my monstrosity!" she puts her weight on your chest and whisper "and you'll enjoy it first!" before laughing wildly
- "NO!" you grab her brusquely before pushing her away, her look of adoration melts into fear as she stumbles on the floor "NO! I refuse to let you believe you, you are not your eye and you are not ugly, you are so many more things than just your looks!" she looks hurt at your previous rejection and doesn't look up at you.
- you walk toward her and she silently looks down, refusing to meet your gaze and much less respond to your monologue "has nobody really ever told you that you're beautiful? You are so amazing" you lean down and hold her, stroking her hair while tightly hugging her, she sniffles but still doesn't respond "when I saw you the first thing I thought was that I could never get a chance with someone like you" she gasps at this, her struggling is reduced to whimpering "I looked for an excuse just to spend time with you"
- her sniffling and shaking dies down, and for the longest time you stay silent while stroking her hair, you also take the chance to look at your watch showing that it's now 4:38 she finally speaks up for the first time in a while "y-you, you really mean it anon?" she looks up at you with her eye returned to normal color "I would never lie to a girl like you" you respond while still holding her small frame in your arms.
- she blushes deeply and smiles, now she cries with happiness "I'm sorry for crying, I... I just never thought that someone would feel that way about me" she wipes away her tears with her wrists
- you lower her and kiss her tenderly, minutes fly by and the romantic kiss turns into playful petting, both of your hands explore the other's body, hers almost desperately so. the limits between her body and yours disappear and soon both of you are in a frenzy trying to kiss the other in a more passionate way.
- she pushes you down and begins straddling your body while still kissing and holding you close to her, pressing her breasts against your body to exchange heat. you go at full mast and she notices as her blush turns an even deeper shade and her skirt develops a moist spot, wordlessly you take off her skirt and she unbuttons your pants, the two of you continue fooling around while still going deeper and deeper
- she finally stops when she realizes there is nothing left to take off "A-Anon, I've never done any of this before!" she turns to panic before you kiss her and she calms down, melting once more in your arms "it's alright, this is a first for me as well!" you respond and the both of you laugh while trying to clumsily guide your erection into her
- she stops laughing however when she finally manages to reach her entrance, causing her to moan lewdly and begin rubbing herself on you, she lowers herself slowly onto you and the farther she goes the tighter and warmer it becomes, until finally you can't hold back and thrust the rest of the way. "AHH!!" she screams and arches before collapsing on you painting heavily "th-that w-as..."
- her eye still flutters slightly until she finally gives into the feeling pulsating through her body and rests on top of you, you kiss her resting eyelid and a large smile spreads on her face, she opens up again looks lewdly at you "Anon, I'm so happy that I met you" she hugs you while rubbing your erect member between her lips, bringing you to a shaking orgasm which covers both of your bodies in sticky fluid.
- after that the two of you continue in the other's embrace for a while, that is until you look at your clock and realize it's 5:48 meaning that within an hour the library would open again, you wake her up with a playful punch to the shoulder and she responds in the same way as usual, by panicking "ohmygod!! she'll be here in 30 minutes" her eye goes wide and she picks up the clothes on the floor, hurrying to the bathroom where you follow her.
- it takes a bit to clean up the mess but with a few minutes to spare there's hardly a trace of any amorous actions left in the library, by then the sun is up and you hear people's cars driving to work. the two of you smile and talk for a while longer until she speaks up "a-anon, so what do you plan on doing this Friday?" she slides her hand to yours and grabs tightly "hanging out with you" she blushes while smiling and the two of you set up a date
- you walk out of the cold library and into the sunlight and set off together while "teenage wasteland" plays in the background.
