  1. [17:18] <KamenWriter> Okay
  2. [17:18] <KamenWriter> WELL EITHER WAY, LAST TIME WE DID SOME STUFF
  3. [17:18] <KamenWriter> Today will probably be more stuff.
  4. [17:18] <KamenWriter> Ivan. You're going to destroy your stone, right?
  5. [17:19] <KamenWriter> Lets start with that
  6. [17:19] <Ivan> Alright
  7. [17:19] * Ivan finds a clear spot in the middle of town, trench shovel in one hand and Adamant Orb in the other.
  8. [17:19] <KamenWriter> The stone doesn't seem like it will be too difficult to break. It's a consistency somewhat like glass.
  9. [17:20] <KamenWriter> You find such a spot
  10. [17:21] <Ivan> He sets the stone on the ground, takes his shovel in both hands, and then brings the spade down on the orb until it's dust.
  11. [17:22] <KamenWriter> Alright
  12. [17:22] <KamenWriter> As soon as the first cracks appear in the orb... you can feel the air around it begin to warp
  13. [17:23] <KamenWriter> You're lucky you used a trench shovel to do this, because the air around the adamant orb becomes somewhat odd, as if it was distorted horribly.
  14. [17:23] <KamenWriter> The trench shovel in your hands then begins to rust very quickly
  15. [17:24] <KamenWriter> And the rust is traveling down the the head of the shovel towards the handle, which is cracking and aging as wood does. The age appears to be traveling towards your hand.
  16. [17:24] * Ivan drops the shovel and steps back.
  17. [17:24] <KamenWriter> Good choice
  18. [17:25] <KamenWriter> The shovel ages rapidly, crackling as the metal rusts and the wood splinters. Soon, things begin to sprout and grow out of the wooden handle, and the metal head is reduced to a reddish dust.
  19. [17:26] <Ivan> "Is not quite what I expected."
  20. [17:26] <KamenWriter> The ground around the shovel is similarly affected, but the aging effect stops spreading soon after.
  21. [17:27] <KamenWriter> The pieces of your version of the adamant orb now sit in pieces on the ground. It's power is drained and useless.
  22. [17:28] <KamenWriter> However, despite the fact that you let go of the handle very soon after the aging effect started, you feel a strange feeling within.
  23. [17:28] <KamenWriter> It seems some of the time magic touched you before you could get away.
  24. [17:29] <KamenWriter> If you look in a mirror, you don't look TOO much older, but you have a few lines under your eyes that weren't there before. Perhaps this is what you'll look like in two or three years?
  25. [17:29] <KamenWriter> You have become older, and with age comes experience.
  26. [17:30] * Ivan checks his appearance, using the blade of his knife as a mirror.
  27. [17:31] <KamenWriter> +2 Trainer levels, and +100 pokemon experience to each pokemon you own.
  28. [17:31] <KamenWriter> But, naturally, you cannot summon pokemon from the past or future.
  29. [17:31] <Ivan> "Vill be hard to explain to captain..."
  30. [17:32] * Ivan looks over the ruined orb and nods. "But is small price to pay."
  31. [17:33] <KamenWriter> As for everyone else, I THINK we've finished up everyone. Karsten, have you bonded with Maus yet?
  32. [17:35] <Karsten> I think not!
  33. [17:36] <KamenWriter> Alright, roll it!
  34. [17:37] <Karsten> He's been cuddling that Cyndaquil for a lot of the evening, but he wants to figure out how to make her more comfortable in this strange, hostile place... Let's try pokemon education!
  35. [17:38] * DiceMaid-9001 (DiceMaid-9@sux-EADD5C74) has joined #OverthereGame
  36. [17:38] <Karsten> 2d6+2
  37. [17:38] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, 2d6+2: 12 [2d6=5,5]
  38. [17:39] <KamenWriter> Neat
  39. [17:40] <KamenWriter> Well, obviously Cyndaquils enjoy warm places, as well as places where they might like to burrow down and be safe.
  40. [17:41] <KamenWriter> So you know that providing old clothes you don't mind getting a little scorched is a good idea.
  41. [17:41] <Karsten> Well, outside is dangerous, so... probably a bundle of clothes and blankets, yep!
  42. [17:41] <KamenWriter> Or digging them a little hole and letting them have a little nest nearby.
  43. [17:42] * Karsten goes to fetch these things and let Maus make herself a little nest in them~
  44. [17:42] <KamenWriter> Yup! The cyndaquil promply digs under the clothes
  45. [17:42] <KamenWriter> You see hims spin around a couple times, around and around, before to see him plop down and go to sleep
  46. [17:42] <KamenWriter> It's a success
  47. [17:43] * Karsten smiles and scratches the quil's quills gently before getting ready to defend for the night.
  48. [17:44] <KamenWriter> However, it is now becoming night time.
  49. [17:45] <KamenWriter> As you retreat back into your base, you look back and see that it is another very large swarm
  50. [17:46] <KamenWriter> However, Elsa had the foresight to set some traps
  51. [17:46] <KamenWriter> You see a lot of the steel and fighting types fall to the fire-based traps, although it doesn't have much effect on the water-types.
  52. [17:47] <KamenWriter> It manages to thin the herd a lot though.
  53. [17:47] <KamenWriter> Go ahead and roll combat checks if you like
  54. [17:49] <KamenWriter> Over the course of the night, in the excitement
  55. [17:49] <Cait> 6d6+2
  56. [17:49] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 6d6+2: 21 [6d6=1,6,3,3,2,4]
  57. [17:49] <Ivan> 3d6+2 I'm helping
  58. [17:49] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, I'm helping: 11 [3d6=5,2,2]
  59. [17:49] <Karsten> 4d6+3
  60. [17:49] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, 4d6+3: 17 [4d6=5,4,1,4]
  61. [17:49] <KamenWriter> Ivan's monferno gets very excited and starts FREAKING OUT
  62. [17:49] <KamenWriter> Soon, it becomes clear that he's evolving!
  63. [17:50] <KamenWriter> The Monferno grows and grows, until he becomes a large kung-fu monkey!
  64. [17:50] <Ivan> "Petya! You are all grown up!"
  65. [17:51] <KamenWriter> Ook ook
  66. [17:51] * Karsten notes his own fire starter is still a baby and he should probably counteract this with a good feeding
  67. [17:53] <KamenWriter> Alright, you fight off the swarm well.
  68. [17:53] <KamenWriter> It is now day 11
  69. [17:54] <KamenWriter> HOWEVER, in the morning, you realize something strange!
  70. [17:54] <KamenWriter> You can hear running water to the southwest
  71. [17:55] <KamenWriter> It's close
  72. [17:55] <Karsten> "Se river?"
  73. [17:56] <Karsten> "Hmm... sat noise is worrying."
  74. [17:59] <KamenWriter> It doesn't take much time at all, so I won't count it as a time period
  75. [17:59] <KamenWriter> but if you go to the south, almost as soon as you step into the woods, you step into mud up to your ankle.
  76. [17:59] <KamenWriter> It didn't rain last night, or anything like that
  77. [18:00] <Ivan> "Zhe water general must be closink in."
  78. [18:00] <KamenWriter> But as you look around the southwestern woods, you can see that the river is swelling!
  79. [18:01] <KamenWriter> It will reach the town by tomorrow morning, and by the state of some of the ruined trees in the water's wake, he doesn't NEED to close in on you. The flood could ruin your camp.
  80. [18:02] <Karsten> "...ve have to handle sis as soon as possible. Like, tonight."
  81. [18:02] <Cait> Well, I guess they're finally stepping up their game."
  82. [18:02] <Cait> "*
  83. [18:03] <Ivan> "If it is just ze one, I trust ve will be fine."
  84. [18:05] <Karsten> "I sink he may try to flood us and not show up himself... ve'll take se fight to him, sen."
  85. [18:06] <Karsten> "Agreed?" he looks between Ivan and Cait.
  86. [18:06] <Ivan> "Of course."
  87. [18:06] <KamenWriter> Elsa and Rudiger are probably there as well
  88. [18:06] * Cait nods.
  89. [18:06] <KamenWriter> And they probably agree
  90. [18:08] <KamenWriter> So the rest of the day is spent in preparation to move out to Keldeo's hideout.
  91. [18:08] <KamenWriter> Morning!
  92. [18:08] <KamenWriter> Roll your bonding checks everyone
  93. [18:10] <KamenWriter> Karsten with Greta, Cait with Aqua, and Ivan with Dima
  94. [18:10] <Cait> 2d6+2 BOOOND
  95. [18:10] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, BOOOND: 5 [2d6=1,2]
  96. [18:10] <Cait> poop
  97. [18:10] <KamenWriter> Doesn't work too well.
  98. [18:10] <Ivan> 3d6+1+3 Charm with 1 AP
  99. [18:10] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, Charm with 1 AP: 12 [3d6=5,2,1]
  100. [18:10] <Karsten> 4d6+3 a combat check for Greta, like always!
  101. [18:10] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, a combat check for Greta, like always!: 21 [4d6=6,5,6,1]
  102. [18:11] <KamenWriter> Dima is getting to like you a lot, Ivan
  103. [18:11] <KamenWriter> Why not, go ahead and raise his loyalty to 3, what the hell.
  104. [18:12] <KamenWriter> As for Greta Where is her loyalty right now?
  105. [18:13] <KamenWriter> Your sheet still says 0 and she's certainly at least loyalty 1 by now
  106. [18:14] <Karsten> Oh yeah, you told me last time to nudge you, one sec
  107. [18:14] <KamenWriter> Ah, that's right!
  108. [18:15] <KamenWriter> Well, with a roll like that, during the playfight, she got a little rough with you, but you could feel almost... affection. She punches you in the face a little harder than she intended, and you're sent to the floor. (Lose 10 HP), however, immediately afterward, she jumps on you and checks to see if you're okay.
  109. [18:17] <KamenWriter> It's clear at this point that Greta is now Loyalty 2. You require no additional command check to use her.
  110. [18:17] * Damien (Damien@sux-DBF96B1C.hsd1.wa.comcast.net) Quit ( Ping timeout )
  111. [18:18] * Damien (Damien@sux-DBF96B1C.hsd1.wa.comcast.net) has joined #OverthereGame
  112. [18:18] * Karsten laughs off the injury, even though it definitely smarted, and gives her a playful nudge on the shoulder. "{You got me good.}" he admits, though he's actually a bit surprised at her concern. "{I can still keep going if you like.}" he gets back up and continues on!
  113. [18:20] * Karsten is happy they finally seem to be on friendly terms with one another. :3
  114. [18:21] * Ivan pats Dima on the head, happy to have made a good connection with the Golett.
  115. [18:22] <KamenWriter> Yay
  116. [18:22] <KamenWriter> The Morning ends, the water seems to get closer.
  117. [18:22] <KamenWriter> Ever so little.
  118. [18:22] * Cait trains with Sunny trying to punch the water back.
  119. [18:23] <KamenWriter> Afternoon!
  120. [18:23] <KamenWriter> Ivan, you gonna feed someone a mushroom?
  121. [18:23] <Ivan> Indeed.
  122. [18:23] * Ivan finds the Infernape and offers him a mushroom. "I vas instructed to give you this when you came of age, yes?"
  123. [18:24] <KamenWriter> :O
  124. [18:24] <KamenWriter> It smells at the mushroom
  125. [18:24] <KamenWriter> It smells ddddeeeelicious
  126. [18:24] <KamenWriter> He begins to drool and make grabby hands for it
  127. [18:25] <KamenWriter> When you give it to him, he scarfs it right down.
  128. [18:25] <KamenWriter> And seems really happy about it, really happy
  129. [18:26] <KamenWriter> With a blissed out expression on his face, he promptly crawls halfway under one of the beds in the hospital and goes to sleep
  130. [18:26] <KamenWriter> ZZZ
  131. [18:27] <KamenWriter> Meanwhile, you go bond with Lyonya, yes?
  132. [18:27] <Ivan> Yes!
  133. [18:27] <Ivan> 3d6+1+3 another AP Charm
  134. [18:27] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, another AP Charm: 17 [3d6=3,4,6]
  135. [18:28] <KamenWriter> Well done. Lyonya appears to be more comfortable with you. Probably something to do with how you don't stare at him too much.
  136. [18:30] <KamenWriter> When you come back from bonding with Lyonya
  137. [18:30] * Ivan charms that Sudowoodo with some Russian poetry, trees love poetry.
  138. [18:30] <KamenWriter> You see... your Infernape is sleeping on the roof
  139. [18:30] <KamenWriter> Odd
  140. [18:30] <KamenWriter> And he appears to be stirring
  141. [18:31] <Ivan> "Petya, are you alright up zhere?"
  142. [18:31] <KamenWriter> When he sees you, he leaps off the roof and lands on your shoulders lightly, Ooking all the way.
  143. [18:31] <KamenWriter> :D His aura is much hotter than it was before, as is his fire.
  144. [18:32] <KamenWriter> Petya has learned Blast Burn
  145. [18:32] <Ivan> "Ah," he tugs at his collar a little, "you are much varmer now, I see."
  146. [18:33] <KamenWriter> And his loyalty is upped to rank 3 if it wasn't before
  147. [18:34] <KamenWriter> As for Cait
  148. [18:35] <KamenWriter> Sunny doesn't much like punching water :< But it makes for good training. Roll me either combat, or command.
  149. [18:36] <Cait> 6d6+2
  150. [18:36] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 6d6+2: 22 [6d6=6,1,1,1,6,5]
  151. [18:37] <KamenWriter> She gains 30 exp
  152. [18:40] <KamenWriter> As for Karsten
  153. [18:40] <KamenWriter> You cook up your stuff
  154. [18:42] <Karsten> I'll be equipping Edelweiss with that Dry Wafer. The others are welcome to the Sweet Confections.
  155. [18:42] <KamenWriter> cool
  156. [18:42] * KamenWriter sets topic to: 2 sweet confections from Karsten up for grabs.
  157. [18:42] <KamenWriter> What do they do again?
  158. [18:43] <Karsten> Dry Wafer gives +4 special attack damage when activated (as a free action below 50% health) or +8 if it's a special attack nature pokemon
  159. [18:43] <Karsten> Sweet Confections give +4 evasion for a turn when activated, speed nature pokemon also get +4 accuracy for a turn
  160. [18:44] <KamenWriter> Cool
  161. [18:44] <Karsten> I'm also going to make three Leftovers, those are daily/10 free actions on my part.
  162. [18:44] <KamenWriter> Okay
  163. [18:46] <KamenWriter> And with that, the river is now too close to ignore. Any more time and it will start spilling over into the town
  164. [18:48] <Cait> "Alright, so are we ready then?"
  165. [18:48] * Ivan nods. "Yes."
  166. [18:48] * Karsten hasn't spent the entire day in leisure! While cooking he's also been busy making sure his gun is clean and freshly loaded, got his medical supplies in order, and armor on.
  167. [18:48] <Karsten> "Aye."
  168. [18:49] <KamenWriter> As well, if you want to declare a future/past pokemon to use for the evening, declare it now
  169. [18:49] <KamenWriter> So we can worry about making sure it's properly statted in time for the fight next time we meet.
  170. [18:50] <Karsten> Let's see...
  171. [18:51] <Karsten> I'd like to call forth Jenny.
  172. [18:51] <KamenWriter> Alrighty, that's nice and easy
  173. [18:52] <Cait> hrmmmm
  174. [18:52] <KamenWriter> Jenny appears, and, Mew calms her down.
  175. [18:53] <KamenWriter> She is still somewhat stubborn (Mew tells you it's because this pokemon was born in space and responds better to those with paranormal powers) but Mew is able to convince her to follow your orders.
  176. [18:54] * Cait summons Scottie!
  177. [18:55] <KamenWriter> Alright, this will end well
  178. [18:55] * Karsten deals with it., it's cool
  179. [18:56] <KamenWriter> Scottie is a little bit D:
  180. [18:56] <KamenWriter> So it takes some time for Mew to calm his shit down.
  181. [18:56] <KamenWriter> However, when the situation is explained, and he notices your hair, Scottie ends up actually being quite friendly >:D
  182. [18:57] * Cait seems abnormally excited about this machamp, and confident in his ability.
  183. [18:57] <KamenWriter> For a Machamp, of course, friendly = punching you in the arm and then giving you another if you flinch.
  184. [18:57] * Cait punches back!
  185. [18:57] <KamenWriter> Acceptable
  186. [18:58] * KamenWriter sets topic to: 2 sweet confections from Karsten up for grabs. Jenny and Scottie have been summoned.
  187. [18:59] <KamenWriter> Keep in mind, while Jenny has a pokeball, Scottie does not
  188. [18:59] <Karsten> (Two of the leftovers are also up for grabs)
  189. [18:59] <Karsten> (And really I have 9 sweet confections I'm not using so :B)
  190. [18:59] * KamenWriter sets topic to: 2 sweet confections and 2 leftovers from Karsten up for grabs. Jenny and Scottie have been summoned.
  191. [19:00] <KamenWriter> Alright
  192. [19:01] <KamenWriter> So, with preparations complete (Rudiger and Elsa will just have to prepare in minis) you all head out to the north east.
  193. [19:04] <KamenWriter> The trip is relatively uneventful. You know which parts of the area are safe and which aren't. Going along the foot of the mountain appears to be the safest route.
  194. [19:05] <KamenWriter> Eventually, you come across the cave that Rudiger described
  195. [19:06] <KamenWriter> Strangely, the huge bird-creature he described isn't on its perch.
  196. [19:07] * Karsten scratches his head, looking around warily.
  197. [19:10] <KamenWriter> There's nothing around.
  198. [19:10] <KamenWriter> Even the woods itself seems quiet
  199. [19:10] <KamenWriter> And the entire area is dominated by the smell of the sea.
  200. [19:11] <Karsten> "...vell, here ve go."
  201. [19:11] * Karsten walks into the cave.
  202. [19:12] * Ivan grabs the medic's shoulder.
  203. [19:12] <Ivan> "Vat did we learn about vandering in front."
  204. [19:12] <Karsten> "Do you see anoser entrance?"
  205. [19:12] * Karsten gestures around.
  206. [19:13] <Ivan> "Marching order." He instructs, and then walks ahead of the others.
  207. [19:13] <KamenWriter> Alright, so Ivan goes into the cave first
  208. [19:13] <KamenWriter> Is that right?
  209. [19:13] * Cait goes in after ivan.
  210. [19:14] * Karsten follows up the rear, then.
  211. [19:14] <Ivan> Yes
  212. [19:14] <KamenWriter> Alright
  213. [19:14] <Ivan> 5d6+2 Stealth; 4d6+2 Perception
  214. [19:14] <DiceMaid-9001> Ivan, Stealth: 17 [5d6=4,2,6,1,2]; Perception: 15 [4d6=2,5,5,1]
  215. [19:15] <KamenWriter> As you enter in, you see that the whole cave is lit fairly well by phosphorous lichens as well as lanturns in the water and starmie on the walls casting light
  216. [19:15] <KamenWriter> Phosphorescent
  217. [19:16] <KamenWriter> There is a massive pool of water
  218. [19:16] <KamenWriter> Stretching the entire length of the cave, which appears to be about the size of a football stadium.
  219. [19:17] <KamenWriter> The roof is high as well. You aren't sure whether this cave is naturally like this or if this little piece of the ocean was placed here, but either way, it's impressive
  220. [19:17] * Karsten gapes a little.
  221. [19:18] <KamenWriter> Ivan stealths, but you find that Karsten was right. This is the only entrance, and the cave is full of light. There isn't much of a place to stealth to.
  222. [19:19] <KamenWriter> As for perception... hmmm
  223. [19:20] <KamenWriter> You see large shadows under the water.
  224. [19:20] <KamenWriter> They move around, but deep enough in the water that they are just indistinct shapes.
  225. [19:20] <Ivan> This is something to communicate via Elsa
  226. [19:21] <KamenWriter> Gotcha
  227. [19:22] <KamenWriter> Alright, everyone else perception check for me.
  228. [19:23] <Karsten> 2d6+2
  229. [19:23] <DiceMaid-9001> Karsten, 2d6+2: 7 [2d6=2,3]
  230. [19:23] <KamenWriter> 2d6+4 Elsa;3d6+1 Rudiger
  231. [19:23] <DiceMaid-9001> KamenWriter, Elsa: 11 [2d6=5,2]; Rudiger: 10 [3d6=3,4,2]
  232. [19:24] <KamenWriter> Cait?
  233. [19:25] <Cait> 2d6+2
  234. [19:25] <Cait> 2d6+2
  235. [19:25] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 2d6+2: 8 [2d6=5,1]
  236. [19:25] <Cait> 2d6+2
  237. [19:25] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 2d6+2: 6 [2d6=2,2]
  238. [19:25] <DiceMaid-9001> Cait, 2d6+2: 13 [2d6=6,5]
  239. [19:25] <Cait> (er)
  240. [19:25] <KamenWriter> Lag?
  241. [19:26] <Cait> i think so :B
  242. [19:26] <KamenWriter> K
  243. [19:26] <KamenWriter> Alright.
  244. [19:26] <KamenWriter> None of you are any the wiser
  245. [19:26] <KamenWriter> You all notice too late when you hear a noise behind you.
  246. [19:27] <KamenWriter> And the last thing you see is a huge rock roll into the entrance
  247. [19:27] <KamenWriter> And block you in.
  248. [19:28] <KamenWriter> <Welcome, DUMMIES!>
  249. [19:28] <KamenWriter> The voice laughs childishly.
  250. [19:29] <KamenWriter> <I can't believe that worked. You must be duuuuumn.>
  251. [19:29] <KamenWriter> <Dumb, Dumb, Dumb, Neener neener noo!>
  252. [19:30] <Karsten> "Ve expected a trap of some kind. Vere are you? Come out and fight, sen!"
  253. [19:30] <KamenWriter> As you look back towards the pool, the cavern now lit only by the haunting blue glow of bioluminescence.
  254. [19:31] <KamenWriter> And you see a waterspout suddenly rise up from the water, with... a strange horse-like pokemon on it.
  255. [19:32] <KamenWriter> Compared to Terrakion and Virizion, he's actually quite tiny, a little horse pokemon, with multicolored feathers in his mane and a horn upon his forehead.
  256. [19:32] <Cait> "You know, children should be given a spanking when they are rude."
  257. [19:33] <KamenWriter> He jumps from the waterspout once it gets tall enough to touch the cieling, and then... he begins to walk on the walls, his hooves sticking to the walls as well as a Starmie.
  258. [19:33] <Karsten> "So you're se one vho's been harassing us. I admit I did expect more. Not sat I plan to underestimate you, eiser."
  259. [19:34] <KamenWriter> <Who are you calling a kid?> Cries the pokemon, clearly angry, as he hangs upside down from the ceiling, <I'm thousands of years old. YOU'RE the kids here.>
  260. [19:35] <Cait> "then act your age!"
  261. [19:35] <Ivan> "And yet here ve are, confronting you head on razher zhan hide away."
  262. [19:36] * Karsten is just sizing up the horse.
  263. [19:36] <KamenWriter> <Hmmph, you're all just talking big, but I know the real situation here. You're all just babies, maybe twenty years old, right, acting all serious now that you're in trouble.>
  264. [19:37] <KamenWriter> <You're too young to know the slow decay you're causing, and too young to appreciate that it's all your fault!>
  265. [19:38] <Ivan> "Zhe choices of my ancestors are hardly my fault."
  266. [19:38] <KamenWriter> <So? It's still happened, and it'll continue to happen.>
  267. [19:39] <KamenWriter> oops
  268. [19:39] <KamenWriter> <So? It's still happened, and it'll continue to happen.>
  269. [19:39] <Karsten> "I can't speak for se rest of humanity, but I do understand sis situation in a better light now. It isn't somesing sat is going to be changed easily. But... ven ve return home I am going to see vat I can do to help. And ve -are- going home, General."
  270. [19:40] <KamenWriter> <Oh, big talk! Five people are gonna change the world, sure. And when nothing's changed, and you die and your kids continue on like nothing happened, it'll be your fault too, and theirs.>
  271. [19:41] <KamenWriter> <Do you know what the harshest place on earth is? I've been there you know, even to places that humans have never even seen with their own eyes.>
  272. [19:41] <Ivan> "Vhen I return home, I vill hunt the four of you down in zhat timeline and kill you myself."
  273. [19:41] <KamenWriter> <Jeeze, harsh.> :D
  274. [19:41] <KamenWriter> He laughs
  275. [19:42] * Karsten glares a bit at Ivan. "And sat is exactly the wrong attitude to have. But no matter."
  276. [19:42] * Happymancer (Happymance@sux-2BDF00B0.lightspeed.rcsntx.sbcglobal.net) has joined #OverthereGame
  277. [19:42] <KamenWriter> <I'm sure you know what's coming. Blah blah blah, environmental message, humans are bad, blah blah.>
  278. [19:42] <Karsten> "I know vere my priorities lie. Let's just get down to sis."
  279. [19:42] <KamenWriter> <Yeah, I believe all that too, but man my brothers talk a lot.>
  280. [19:43] <KamenWriter> <So, on the behalf of the sea... WE will defeat you.>
  281. [19:43] <KamenWriter> He then neighs
  282. [19:43] <KamenWriter> It's actually rather adorable, he's so tiny
  283. [19:44] <KamenWriter> However, in response to the neigh which echoes off the walls of the cave, you begin to hear a rumbling from deep under the water.
  284. [19:44] <KamenWriter> Bubbles are forming on the surface.
  285. [19:44] * Karsten gets ready!
  286. [19:45] <KamenWriter> First to come bursting out of the water is... a giant white bird that begins to fly around the wide chamber, it Screeches horribly!
  287. [19:45] <Karsten> "Ah. Sere it is."
  288. [19:46] <KamenWriter> And then, with a howl, a blue, wolf-like creature with a flowing purple mane and a large, odd-shaped horn jumps out of the water, and begins to stand on the surface of the water, as if he had no weight at all.
  289. [19:46] <KamenWriter> And, finally...
  290. [19:47] * Karsten blinks. He didn't expect this one.
  291. [19:48] <KamenWriter> A teeny, tiny little blue pokemon appears. It is partially transluscent, and you can see its beating heart within, and it has a bright light hanging from one antennae.
  292. [19:48] <KamenWriter> It looks cute, but the ripples coming off of this tiny pokemon seem hugely powerful.
  293. [19:49] <KamenWriter> They grow in waves, and the pool of water splashes up to lick at your feet.
  294. [19:49] <KamenWriter> <There's a lot of... vested interest in keeping the oceans pure.>
  295. [19:49] <Cait> "Hey! I think I know one of these!"
  296. [19:49] <KamenWriter> <We had a lot of volunteers.>
  297. [19:50] <Karsten> "Wonderbar."
  298. [19:50] <KamenWriter> You notice that Kyogre is not present
  299. [19:51] <KamenWriter> Could you imagine if you had to deal with perma-rain on top of this array of pokemon? Could you imagine? :D
  300. [19:51] <Karsten> "If sis is our test, sen ve'll just have to deal vis it!"
  301. [19:51] <KamenWriter> <Everyone! ATTACK!>
  302. [19:52] <KamenWriter> And with that... we leave our heroes for now.
  303. [19:52] <KamenWriter> Join us next time, as we find out what happens.
