MH - Tina's Intro

<Darkling> You know it's a lovely morning when you wake up to the smell of breakfast with sun shining through your window and a bird chirping on the sill.
<Tina_Wagner> Not only was it just beautiful outside, it was also the first day of school!  Tina couldn't wait to see all of her friends again.  Maybe she could make new friends too!
<Darkling> You can hear your parents bustling about downstairs getting things ready. They had a lot of work on their plates, even more getting things ready for you for school.
<Tina_Wagner> Tina got up and stretched. Today was gonna be a good day, she was sure of it.  "Morning guys!"  She said as she stepped out into the hallway and then into the bathroom to take a shower.
<Darkling> "Morning sweetheart." Your mother gives you a kiss on the forehead before heading back to the stove and flipping some banana pancakes onto a plate for you. "Eat up while they are still warm!"
<Darkling> "She's nto there honey." You hear you father as you head into the bathroom.
<Tina_Wagner> Tina giggled, her mom could be so silly sometimes.  She took her shower and got dressed.  Then she went to go get breakfast.  "Ooh!  Banana Pancakes?  Awesome!"
<Darkling> They were still warm at least. Her father burst back into the kitchen from whatever he was doing, paperwork sticking out of his briefcase haphazardly, his suit looking a bit dishevelled. "Ooooh I hope were not going to be late. So much to do."
<Tina_Wagner> Tina hugged her parents.  "Have fun at work."  She said before sitting down for breakfast.
<Darkling> "Thanks hon, it'll be okay dear." Your mother reassures him, taking off her apron. Today will be a good day, I'm sure."
<Darkling> "If you say so Martha. Our investors have been really pushing lately though. Oh, I shouldn't bother you with the details." He grabs what he thinks is his hat, instead putting on a dishrag and heads for the door.
<Tina_Wagner> Tina laughed.  "Dad, your hat!"  She said holding it up for him while enjoying her pancakes.
<Darkling> He comes back in a moment, tossing the rag off and takign his hat. "Thank you. What would I do without you?" He leans down giving yo ua quick hug before heading out the door again, your mother in tow behind. Off to work they go leaving you alone in the house.
<Darkling> Looks liek your mother packed a nice lunch for you, leaving a charming little happy faced heart sticky note attached to it.
<Tina_Wagner> Aww that was sweet of her.  She picked up the note, not wanting to wait for lunch to read it.
<Darkling> Jsut a note sayign to have fun on her first day, make new friends, learn lots of 'stuff' and not to worry about anything.
<Tina_Wagner> She smiled, she was sure she would have fun.  When she finished her breakfast she grabbed her bag and her lunch and headed out.
<Darkling> Outside is pretty nice, not much going on though. Shouldn't there be more people about? You look at your watch and realize school is starting in five minutes!
<Tina_Wagner> Oh shoot.  That's no good, at this rate she'll probably be late. She decided to take her bike out and ride it to school, she might get there quicker that way instead of just walking.
<Darkling> Quick enough. She's not the last stragler, but Vice Pricipal Foxwell is standing at the front doors of the school frowning at everyone that is just making it there now. "This is a terrible way to start the year." He mutters.
<Tina_Wagner> She headed in quickly.  She'll have to try better tomorrow.
<Darkling> A moment after you enter the doors a bell goes off signallign the start of class, and you book it to homeroom so you aren't too late. The last one to arrive there's only one spot left to sit, with your name labelling it. Looks like a table of four other girls. Even being late, looks liek a good start to a fun school year.
