  1. Hey, Dutchbag here! I'm going to run a wargame on the Paradox Forums, on the side of my commitment to 1894. Don't worry, this won't spell its doom. 1894 remains the main project, and has priority over this. My idea for this game is a game where the players are in command of army regiments. However, there is also a player for each side who representes a presiding political/military authority, who grants supplies to these units and is to order them around. With this in mind, the players are to work together to take control of the country again.

  3. Once the military struggle is over, the game will enter a new phase. It will change from a war game to a political game, which emulates many predecessors with one important difference: depth. As the player transitions from a warlord to a politician, he already has established ties and won a name for himself (for better or worse) which will serve as a stepping stone to power after the war.

  5. In the poll below, you can choose the scenario to start in. First of them is Rhodesia, around the time of UDI. Second of them is the beginning of insurrection in Angola. In both of these, the guerillas will have to start their fight and foco from the ground up. Both of these could start a bit earlier to allow for pre-hostilities preparations if you all desire this. Alternatively, if you do not wish to build and get into a proper war from the getgo, the Rhodesian scenario could be advanced, and the Angolan war could start at the South African entry.

  7. With that, I would like to make clear that nothing is set and stone and I encourage you to vote.
