- >Since the door to the basement here is locked, maybe it's a good idea to just break the door down and force your way in.
- >But, you also don't want to attract any unwanted attention so you decide against it.
- >The best thing to do right now is just keep calm and look for the keys and medicine.
- >Every single time the keys you need are upstairs.
- >So, logic would dictate if these places are the same and theres any observable pattern..
- >You decide to walk up the stairs.
- >Anon is starting to look worse.
- >His eyes look sullen, he just has this look on his face like..
- >Theres just nothing at all inside of him.
- >Like he's, just a puppet, or a walking corpse.
- >How could the sirens brainwashing be affecting him this badly?
- >Maybe the sirens were just more dangerous than you gave them credit for.
- >All the more reason to stop them.
- >Like the other times you try opening these doors.
- >Locked.
- >You can hardly be surprised at this point, locked doors and monsters are a hallmark of the hell on earth this place is.
- >You desperately make your way down these halls.
- >All the while, you feel yourself just..
- >Feeling this crushing despair..
- >This Amnesty girl, who's been here who knows how long, shes stuck here, and you've been fighting these creatures just like she has.
- >She's about the same as Anon is, only there's a small light in her eyes.
- >Its hard to think she's been here all this time unable to escape.
- >It really makes you begin to question whether or not there will be a way to escape.
- >You open the door.
- >Its a white room with some kind of steam coming up through the floor.
- >You hear the sounds of crying.
- >You shine the lantern seeing people hung from the ceiling by their necks from a shackle.
- >They're limbless, just hanging there.
- >Cut up and torn, you get the awful feeling these people have been here for ages just like Amnesty.
- >You quiver feeling this terrible feeling in the pit of your stomach.
- >You walk over to a wood table with, messes of limbs and organs all over it.
- >You find another key.
- >You quietly exit the room.
- >You feel tears run down your face..
- >Why, why do these people need to suffer?
- >It hurt to see them, to know they've gone through such immense pain..
- >You turn the key in the door searching the room.
- >Nothing.
- >Room after room you search.
- >You find the second key.
- >You head back downstairs.
- >You hear footsteps on the food flooring.
- >Through the darkness, a tall humanoid creature with a burlap sack wanders toward you.
- >He's carrying a wood-chopping axe.
- >"I'll show you, how me and Anon take care of hunters like this guy."
- >Anon fires along with you as if on que.
- >You hose him down with water, Anon firing bullets into him.
- >Bullets fall off of him like BBs.
- >The water drenches him as it washes unclean blackness off of him, but doesn't seem to harm him at all.
- "B-but how?!"
- >"Torturers of the Damned cannot be killed."
- "This guy is one of those? The last one we saw was in the basement though!"
- >"It's probably looking for another lost soul wandering around."
- "So he's just acting like a hunter?"
- >The creature lumbers up the stairs.
- >"Sort of, he's probably looking for someone, and once it finds them, it'll incapacitate them, and drag them wherever, where it will do terrible things to them for all eternity."
- "B-but why.. Why is this place so cruel.. Why.."
- >"I don't think now is the time to worry about that."
- "I can't! Its not fair for these people to suffer!"
- >"People do terrible things, this is their punishment, our punishment. I suppose we'll all have our day when the torturer will come for us, and we'll be savagely mutilated forever."
- >The thought makes you sick..
- >Anon taps you on the shoulder.
- "Anon?"
- >"Have you, ever just thought, about consuming someones flesh?"
- >His eyes are empty, and they're turning yellow.
- >You shove him away.
- "W-what the hell Anon, of course I haven't!"
- >"Thats weird, I've just been hearing these little voices in my head the whole time. I just wanna wait in the dark for someone to come by, and then I want to jump on them, bite into their shoulder, and then their neck, and rip out their-"
- >You charge at him and slam him into a wall pounding on him with your hooves.
- "No, no dammit! Stop it! Stop saying these things!! I can't take it! I just can't take it!"
- >"Shh! You'll draw the dark ones-"
- "How did this happen? Why is this happening?!"
- >You sob into him.
- >Your chest hurts so badly..
- >All you want to do is just get the medicine and leave this awful place..
- >But at the same time, you want to find a way to save all these people here..
- >You can still hear their tortured screams echoing, never ending, never ending..
- >You try to compose yourself as you steadily move the key into the door for the basement.
- >It creaks open, and the stairway downward is revealed.
- >You cautiously move down the stairs.
- >The room seems, fairly normal.
- >You see over on a little table, there is a bottle, and another key.
- >There weren't any other keys in the basements, what is this one for?
- >You hear dripping noises.
- >Something hits your face like a drop of rain.
- >You wipe it, it's blood?
- >You look up.
- >A grate with all sorts of organs is above you.
- >The grate opens up and you're buried under a mass of human innards.
- >You scream as you're swimming in this stuff.
- >Soaked in blood it's just gross feeling.
- >Your lantern is gone and put out in all the blood, lost in this sea of innards.
- >You float the bottle and key from the table quickly walking back up the steps.
- >You run out with Anon and Amnesty you're all covered in blood and guts as you run leaving the house.
- >You try to brush yourselves off.
- >The disgusting smell, it's all over you.
- >Everything is coated in blood.
- >You begin to tear up again.
- >This little bottle.
- >You hope whatever is in it will bring back Anon, you can't take another moment of this hell without him.
- >You sit him down and open his mouth making him inject the liquid.
- >A few minutes go by as you sit outside the house.
- >The yellow from his eyes is fading, and the light from his natural eyes seems to be returning.
- >It's a few more minutes before he seems to be back to his old self.
- "Anon, Anon!"
- >You hug him.
- >"W-where, is this? Why is everything so dark and.. Why are you, why are we, covered in blood?"
- >You take the time to explain everything that happened since he was brainwashed.
- >He seems to believe it.
-
You now assume the role of Anonymous
- >All this stuff shes telling you, you can remember pieces of it, like it was a dream, or perhaps more appropriately a nightmare.
- >But everything seems to add up.
- >Shes hugging you so hard with tears in her eyes.
- >You can only imagine she's had a hell of a time.
- What will you do?
