[23:00:51] <`GM> Jenna:  "Agamedes, let the nice lady go now~"
[23:01:33] <`GM> [Jenna looks up at Sam.]
[23:02:34] <`GM> Jenna:  "I'm sorry, Sam; I really should come to visit Dorothy more.  Life's been getting rougher."
[23:04:22] <`GM> [Sam shrugs at much as she can whilst getting huggified.]
[23:04:54] <Tesla> "Sam, is it? For Samantha?" Tyro looks at the woman with a noticeable lack of emotion at first, but her face contorts into a smirk once Agamedes starts her hugging attack.
[23:05:36] <`GM> Sam:  "Honestly, dear...  She'll do just fine either way."
[23:06:07] <`GM> Sam:  "Ah, yeah, dear, Samantha.  Ms. Jacobs, if you'd prefer."
[23:06:52] <`GM> [Samantha turns around and starts moving back into the house, assuming that at some point Medes will let go like a normal middle-schooler would.]
[23:09:46] <Tesla> Tyro turns and smiles at Jenna. "Well, boss, ready to ruin their day?"
[23:12:38] <Agamedes> The girl would indeed release her grasp on the giggling a bit, hoping to bring this small random act of kindness.
[23:13:23] <`GM> [Jenna just gives Tyro a disdainful glare, if quickly.]
[23:16:28] <Tesla> Tyro does not seem fazed at Jenna's absent sense of humor.
[23:18:13] * Meredith looks askance at Tyro. Meanwhile, she directs her rabbit to climb up the water spout and onto the roof to keep an eye out for anyone approaching the house.
[23:18:26] <`GM> Sam:  "Can I get you girls anything?  Water, coffee, pop?"
[23:19:41] <Agamedes> Medes sighs softly with a smidge of mild irritation. Its fucking Soda goddammit. "Mmm, water's just fine!"
[23:20:05] <Meredith> "I'd like a water, please." She reflects on how strange it is that she is being served rather than servimg.
[23:21:02] <Tesla> "Water's fine, thanks." Tyro has her hands clasped behind her back, humming.
[23:23:35] <`GM> [Samantha brings the five of them glasses of ice water, as they loiter about either standing or seated in the living room.]
[23:24:14] <Agamedes> The young girl browses around the room, more curious than suspicious if anything. "So how long have you guys lived here? Been a while."
[23:26:26] * Meredith takes her water and a seat. "Thank you."
[23:26:36] <Tesla> Tryo avoids asking questions for the moment, since she's well aware she might say the wrong thing. "Thanks for the water."
[23:26:38] <`GM> Sam:  "Oh, I've been from the area all my life.  Jenna here helped me out with the house back when I adopted Dorothy.  Been here ever since."
[23:27:06] <`GM> Sam:  "And you're welcome, you're welcome, both of you."
[23:27:56] <`GM> Sam:  "Ahh, uhh, would you like anything to eat?  I've got some leftovers from lunch if you haven't eaten yet?  It's no trouble."
[23:33:02] <Agamedes> "I.. oh, um. It's quite okay! R-really!" She's not usually treated this well and would catch this girl well offguard.
[23:35:10] <Meredith> "I would rather get to the point, ma'am."
[23:35:31] * Meredith sips her water coolly.
[23:36:48] <`GM> [Sam seemed already well on her way to opening the refrigerator when the comment comes, and of course stops.]
[23:37:41] <Tesla> Tyro sips at the water, but does nothing else. Meredith took the words right out of her mouth, after all.
[23:39:04] <`GM> Sam:  "No-no, don't think you need to rush things!  After all I haven't seen Jen in years; come on now, let's just relax!  Dorothy will be home soon; no sense talking behind her back."
[23:40:23] <Agamedes> She sighs loudly at Meredith, knowing this would happen and walk up to Sam and giving her another hug, this time it was much more personal. "I'm sorry..."
[23:41:26] <Tesla> "So, you've figured it out." Tyro sips again, figuring there's not much else to say about it at this point. "I guess we can talk something else, in the meantime."
[23:43:25] <`GM> [Sam looks taken aback]
[23:44:05] <`GM> Sam:  "S-sorry?  What do you have to be sorry about, Miss...  Oh dear, now I'M sorry, I've forgotten your name already."
[23:48:06] <Agamedes> "Its Agamedes, miss." She looks up the the lady.
[23:49:31] <`GM> Sam:  "Agamedes?  Oh, is that, is that Latin?"
[23:50:04] <Agamedes> "Greek, named after a son... odd, I know. Hehe."
[23:52:03] <`GM> [Sam nods and smiles politely.]
[23:52:18] <`GM> Sam:  "Well it's a very nice name; I hope you like it~"
[23:53:00] <Agamedes> "But um.. where is the girl at anyway?" She tries to look around for the young scamp but could not see her anywher---oh, thank you!"
[23:55:17] <`GM> Sam:  "Oohh, what's the time, two... thirty, thirty-five?  She'll be back from school any minute now I expect.  I take it you're home-schooled, Agamedes?"
[23:55:50] <Tesla> Tyro finishes her water and sets the glass down, drumming on the glass briefly before letting go. "School... I wonder what she's learning there."
[23:57:56] <Agamedes> "You... could say that." She looks away, slightly guilty for not laying her all of the truth.
[00:02:01] <Meredith> "The main difference is socialization. If you can meet with other people your age routinely, homeschooling isn't an issue in that regard,"
[00:04:13] <`GM> [Sam sighs painfully.]
[00:04:51] <`GM> Sam:  "You can go to a public school these days and still not meet other people your age..."
[00:05:58] <Tesla> Tyro looks at Sam like she has no idea what the woman just said.
[00:06:45] <`GM> [Jenna has an idea.]
[00:07:58] <Karan> Karan maintains her observations of her surroundings, not quite sure what to say herself.
[00:10:04] <`GM> Jenna:  "Samantha...  THESE girls are Dorothy's age."
[00:10:51] <`GM> [Jenna motions at the other four girls in the room.]
[00:11:56] <`GM> [Sam looks around, not really understanding the meaning.  Or maybe Jenna didn't.]
[00:12:29] <Tesla> Tyro looks down at her torso. "I am?"
[00:13:52] <`GM> Sam:  "I... suppose.  I don't see your point."
[00:14:48] <Karan> Karan looks down at her own. It's long, but...
[00:15:22] <`GM> Sam:  "Jenna, why are you here?  You told me on the phone you couldn't tell me over the phone.  So tell me."
[00:16:09] <Tesla> Tyro arches an eyebrow, she really thought the woman had figured it out already.
[00:18:08] <`GM> Sam:  "Or any of you.  I know Jenna's not going to tell me--believe me, I've asked plenty of times in the last 18 years--so are any of YOU going to tell me?"
[00:20:11] <Tesla> Tyro turns her gaze to Jenna. "I'm guessing I'm not authorized?"
[00:20:22] <Agamedes> "We're here to take your daughter AND you away." She says it outright.
[00:20:28] <Karan> Karan does the same. "I can tell-
[00:20:48] <Karan> "... Less bluntly," Karan interjects.
[00:21:09] <Karan> She then adds: "Dorothy may be in danger."
[00:23:21] <`GM> [Sam doesn't understand in the slightest.]
[00:23:41] <`GM> Sam:  "Wha...?  I don't, what?  Say again?"
[00:24:39] <Karan> "... Dorothy may be in danger. We can relocate you and her to a safer location."
[00:24:59] <Meredith> "Dorothy may be in danger, and if she is, you are as well."
[00:25:05] <Agamedes> "You'll be with her the whole time, naturally. I'd rather not her grow up to be one of us."
[00:26:18] <`GM> [Sam is still clueless.]
[00:26:53] <`GM> Sam:  "I, danger?  What do you mean?  Danger from WHAT?  What's going on here?"
[00:28:32] <Agamedes> "They belong in the same orginzation as us, and they  want her to become one of us. We don't want that."
[00:30:03] <`GM> [Sam shakes her head, and sits down.  Nothing seems to be getting through.]
[00:30:42] <`GM> Sam:  "WHAT organization, you're not making any sense!  Jenna, is this some kind of a joke, who ARE they?"
[00:31:26] <Karan> "Perhaps it would be best if we showed you...?"
[00:32:10] <Karan> Karan sets her briefcase on the table as gently as she can- though still resutling in a surprisingly loud thud.
[00:33:59] <Meredith> "I believe Dorothy is almost here."
[00:34:59] * Meredith sits back in her chair, ready in case it's not Dorothy.
[00:36:43] <Karan> Karan looks Samantha in the eye.
[00:37:13] <Karan> "Please don't be too alarmed; I only use these to defend those around me."
[00:39:04] <`GM> [Sam looks at Jenna, utterly baffled, hoping for some kind of answer, conformation, ANYTHING.]
[00:39:16] <Karan> She then opens the case, revealing an array of what look like short swords with some unusual but advanced gadgetry instead of a hilt. With a thought, one begins hovering slightly.
[00:39:54] <Agamedes> "Simply put, we're specialized bodyguards of all race, creed and origins. Your girl, Dorothy, is a candidate like all of us here, and Karan there. We're a peculiar bunch."
[00:40:02] <Tesla> Tyro is beginning to think she would have preferred to wait for them to both be in the house and kidnap them. At least it would've saved all the trouble of explaining until later, when they wouldn't try and run or would panic.
[00:50:35] <`GM> Dorothy:  "Hey mom, the bank sent us a paper statement again; I thought you cancelled it?"
[00:51:05] <`GM> [A girl enters the room from the front door like it’s her house or something.  She would look the same age as the other girls if the other girls looked the ages they were, and were the height there were supposed to be for that age.  Her hair is a mousy tannish blonde, of decent length, and she has an overall sort of mousy look to her altogether.  She currently wears white pants and a dark...
[00:51:05] <`GM> ...grey turtleneck, and is looking down at a pile of mail in her hands.]
[00:52:13] <Tesla> "Hm, speak of the devil." Tyro stretches, her arms going outward, before she extends her hand. "Dilly, I presume."
[00:53:38] <Karan> Karan immediately stops the levitation and closes the case.
[00:53:46] <Agamedes> "If you make so much as a forced move against Dilly, Tyro. I will be restraining you immediately." She glares daggers at the new girl.
[00:54:26] <`GM> [The girl hears a strange voice and looks up suddenly.  A bunch of strange women are in the house; one of them was doing...  something, with a briefcase?]
[00:55:11] <Meredith> "Greetimgs. We have a lot to talk about."
[00:56:26] <`GM> [Dorothy looks around, very confused.]
[00:56:51] <`GM> Dorothy:  "Umm, h-hi?  Who are, you?  Mom, you around?"
[00:57:06] <Karan> Karan rises and turns around, gesturing to Sam.
[00:57:07] <`GM> [She ignores the offered hand for the moment.]
[00:57:31] <`GM> Sam:  "Oh, Dilly, hello.  How was school?"
[00:57:56] <`GM> [Sam quickly gets up and hugs her daughter, perhaps a little too hard.]
[00:57:57] <Tesla> "Tyro Westinghouse-" Tyro's affable smile and extended hand are frozen in place once she's interrupted.
[00:59:43] <`GM> Dorothy:  "Ffffine?  What's, going on?"
[01:00:35] <`GM> [Jenna gives a wave over from the couch.]
[01:01:05] <`GM> Jenna:  "That's my fault.  Heya kiddo~"
[01:02:46] <`GM> Dorothy:  "Oh, Aunt...  Aunt Jen?  When did YOU get here?"
[01:03:58] <`GM> Jenna:  "Oh abooouut, fifteen minutes ago?  Blame them; they're with me.  Sort of."
[01:04:31] <`GM> [Dorothy, rather than the befuddment her mother is displaying, just looks sort of overwhelmed.]
[01:06:14] <Tesla> Tyro keeps her hand forward, but turns her head to Jenna with a 'you've got to be kidding me' look.
[01:07:01] <Agamedes> "Friends of Jenna, more like we're her employees I guess. Dilly right?"
[01:08:09] <`GM> [Dorothy is at least taller than Medes, and looks down at her, not noticing her arms.  She looks away rather quickly all the same and twirls her hair.]
[01:08:38] <`GM> Dorothy:  "Just Dorothy...  Only my mom calls me Dilly."
[01:09:44] <`GM> [Samantha looks like she's about to say something, but perhaps thinks better of it.]
[01:15:09] <Tesla> "That so?" Tyro finally puts her hand back, putting her arms akimbo. "Oh, is it embarrassing for people besides your mom to call you that? Sorry. I wouldn't know, never really had a... never mind." Tyro, not liking where she steered the conversation, shuts up.
[01:16:22] <Agamedes> "Sorry, Dorothy. That said, we need the two of you to come with us as soon as possible. Willingly of course. There are people from where I work at after you both. If you don't want to, we can leave peacefully but we cannot gurantee the next group who shows up will be as nice."
[01:19:33] <`GM> Dorothy:  "Huh?  People from...  But, I didn't do anything.  Mom, what's going on?"
[01:19:39] <Tesla> Tyro looks at Agamedes very strangely. What's this about leaving peacefully if they go against them?
[01:20:02] <Karan> Karan bites her lip.
[01:20:10] <`GM> [Samantha shakes her head and holds her daughter's hand.]
[01:21:10] <`GM> Sam:  "I don't know, Dilly, we only got to talking a minute ago before you got here.  Jen, please!  What's going on?"
[01:21:49] <Agamedes> "Should I explain it to them then Big Sis?" She uses the name to address Jenna in more serious situations like this.
[01:22:43] <`GM> [Jenna holds up her hands in retreat.]
[01:24:43] <`GM> Jenna:  "Sam, all I can tell you is that if I get involved I'm just going to make things worse.  My girl's'll explain it all, or TRY to, but I swear they'll make more sense than me right now."
[01:26:17] <Karan> Karan steps forth.
[01:27:37] <Karan> "... In short, powerful people are after us. And by extension, you. Unlike them we care about your well-being, so we made sure to get to you first. We can protect you from them."
[01:29:18] <Tesla> Tyro thinks Jenna is probably just avoiding saying any of it because she'd be uncomfortable explaining it, but keeps quiet.
[01:30:41] <`GM> Dorothy:  "But... I didn't do anything.  If they're after YOU, why...  wait, no, umm... hang on..."
[01:31:42] <Karan> "If you'd like, I could demonstrate why; that might make this clearer."
[01:31:45] <Agamedes> "You are a candidate to become one of us in short. They will subject you to various experiments, and you'll never know what will happen. You might lose an arm. "She tosses an arm on the floor. "or Both." She tosses the second one onto the floor. "Or if you're unfit.. let;'s just not got there."
[01:31:52] <Agamedes> "Way ahead of you dear."
[01:32:35] <Karan> "The situation is tense enough already. You didn't need to resort to scare tactics," Karan chastises.
[01:33:49] <Agamedes> "Scare? Hardly Karan. I want to live the life of a normal person, but I was not given that. And I'd rather not see this young one down the path we did."
[01:35:33] <Karan> Karan looks towards the floor and folds an arm behind her back, brushing it against the hard shell of her implants.
[01:36:16] <Karan> "Me neither."
[01:36:45] <Tesla> Tyro arches an eyebrow at Agamedes. "Seeing as you just showed off at her, she might not have a choice now..."
