  1. Hey guys,
  2.
  3. I recently started running FreeBSD-current on my Raspberry Pi 2 and have become frustrated with how long it takes to buildworld and buildkernel on the Pi. I was wondering if there was a better way to manage updates and ports, possibly cross building from another, more powerful, x86 system. I have found plenty of documentation on how this is done using poudriere and QEMU but have not found very much on cross building world and kernel much less how it's installed on the target system once built. What tools would you use on a more powerful x86 box to buildworld/kernel for an ARM platform and once built, how do you install them on the Raspberry Pi?

  5. Thanks so much,
  6. Ted
