07[13:13] * +Fire_Lily shakes her head. "Not unless you gave me one... I uh... didn't have anything on me before the other day?"
15[13:14] * +Karina snerks. "Stop masking it and just tell me what you're asking."
07[13:14] * +Desert_Storm is very preoccupied with... things.
07[13:14] * +Primer sighs in dissapointment. "Well, drat." And it was probably not wise to go over the cash register when Storm is greasing the works of the owner. "Let's get ourselves a Sparkle Cola each, better pay too."
07[13:15] * +SmartCookie starts wondering around the townsquare.
07[13:15] * +Keen blushes brightly and picks up the pace a little. "Nothing! Let's just keep walking up to the hospital so I can drop off a letter, okay?"
07[13:15] * +Fire_Lily frowns. "Aw! No fun!"
[13:15] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle is equally preoccupied in makign Storm forget her troubles
15[13:16] * +Karina sighs and follows. "Ooookay."
04[13:16] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Karina and Keen continue towards the old MoP hub, drowning in awkward. After about an hour they reach the neighborhood.
07[13:17] * +Primer "Come on." She walks over to the fridge and takes out two bottles, then tosses the caps on the counter. Keeping the ones on the bottles for herself of course as they sit down by a table to wait for people to turn up.
07[13:19] * +Fire_Lily sits with Primer, taking one of the bottles, more than a little disappointed at the lost prospect of mischief.
07[13:19] * +Keen trots up to the Stable-Tec building, picks up a bit of stationary and pencil, and writes out a letter. Satisfied, he leaves it in the mailbox next to the building. "Alright. That should do it. Let's rejoin the others." He said, still blushing a little.
07[13:19] * +Primer then get's an idea. "Hey Lily. I know you hate fire, but how are you with lighting a fuse?"
15[13:20] * +Karina blinks. "You're not going in?"
04[13:24] * +Keen looks at Karina. "Do you want to?"
07[13:24] * +SmartCookie after his 'tiny' stroll he reclaims is place infront of the tavern and silently sings: "And this is for those that still drink malt liquor. Put the poison in your body just to pass out quicker. When death calls best believe it's gonna get all emotional. Because I ain't goin' to hell without my mint-als..."
15[13:26] * +Karina glances at the hospital building. "I uh... well... Ditzy Doo helped, but... going back in there might help my mind through the dreams..."
07[13:27] * +Keen grimaced a bit. Strong girl. WSD would've probably taken hold of a past pony. Wouldn't want to have anything to do with this place again. He pushes open the door and let it creeeeeak open. "Hello?"
07[13:28] * +Fire_Lily gives a questioning look, then shakes her head. "N...no..."
[13:29] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The Hospital remains quiet for a moment, then a vocie crackles over the speakers. "Who's there?"
15[13:29] * +Karina shivers, then clears her throat.
07[13:30] * +Primer digs out a cherry bomb. "Too bad, becasue I've heard that these things buck the shit out of the plumbing in these buildings." She gives Fire_Lily a sly grin. "Too bad that I have nopony who can help me light it, only needs a little spark."
07[13:30] * +Keen rolls his eyes. "A pony who's intestine you know the smell of and marefriend. Friend mare." He blushes. "Can I come in?"
[13:31] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The speaker crackles; "Oh, Keen. One moment." There's another moment of silence, then a flash at the far end of the lobby area. Cure appears from within that flash, though it's noticable that her glow is being diminished by the presence of a dark cloak. The hood is down still though.
15[13:32] * +Karina blinks and sits down, not sure she could stay standing steadily if she tried.
07[13:33] * +Keen blinks. "Nice cloak. New?"
[13:34] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure trots slowly towards you, eyeing the cloak as she moves. "A gift. From that pegasus ghoul you sent here." She keeps eyeing the cloak curiously. "Lined with lead."
07[13:34] * +Desert_Storm nuzzles Bottle and rolls of the bed. Dressing quickly, she trots towards the door. "Thank you for that, but there are a few things I need to take care of. I'll be sure to stop by before I go." She gives Bottle a quick peck on the muzzle.
[13:34] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure nuzzles Bottle back; "Any time sugarcube. Hope yer feelin' better."

07[13:36] * +Fire_Lily looks away, suddenly very nervous. "I... uh..."
15[13:37] * +Karina just sits there, slowly managing to convince her mind not to freak out.
07[13:37] * +SmartCookie still sits infront of the tavern and has resumed the monitoring of the townsquare.
[13:37] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure nods to Keen. "Scrapton is on the outskirts of the city. Bloodwings tend to be less populous there. For what reason are you going?" She continues to move closer, as though testing the effectiveness of the cloak.
07[13:37] * +Primer puts the sherry bomb away. "Don't worry, I wont press you."
07[13:40] * +Keen gives a graveyard smirk. His stomach starts to feel the microwave heat coming on reflexively. "We're going to try to get ourselves into a holdout named 'Tenpony Tower' that popped up recently. Well. I am. I don't know why the others want to follow me, honestly. They want caps. A lot of them. So we're off to get shot at over there."
07[13:40] * +Fire_Lily still avoids looking at Primer. "I'm sorry..."
[13:40] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure nods; "Tenpony... I remember when they started calling it that. The original name fell off the side of the building. What do you need from an old MAS hub?"
07[13:42] * +Primer reaches out and places her hoof on Fire_Lily's shoulder. "Hey, I was just testing you. I wanted to know how much you hated fire."
07[13:43] * +Keen coughs uncomfortably. "I need to find where my sister wound up. Give me a little bit of closure." Yeah. Find out what the hell happened to Shimmer. See if you wrecked her life enough or not. Probably Lustrous, too. "Don't suppose the names Shimmer and Lustrous Shine ring any bells?"
07[13:44] * +Desert_Storm spots Primer and Fire_Lily goofing around in the corner. "Hey."

The only time we ever interacted was the development of Megaspells. Aside from the Steel Ranger project and t he Megaspells, I don't think MAS ever did much with the other Ministries."

07[13:46] * +Desert_Storm slumps in a chair, taking a bite of her favorite chocolate bar. Ugh, whe was running out. Wonderful. "Nothing."
07[13:46] * +Keen sighs, then rubs his face. "Alright. So, erm. Thank you for saving my life. I hope I get to see you again. And hopefully, under better conditions."
[13:46] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 A few minutes later Bottle comes down, looking freshened up. She spies the caps left on her counter, then looks over to Lily and Primer. She gives a smirk and a shrug, then scoops the caps into her register/.
07[13:47] * +Keen raises his hoof. "Erm. Before I leave. First, what do you know about Scrapton? Secondly, where's the ghost?"
07[13:48] * +Keen paused. "Wait. Hold on. What did the Steel Rangers have to do with the MoP?"
07[13:49] * +Keen felt even more alarmed. "Wait! What the hell did they have to do with the megaspells?!"
[13:50] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure looks dubious; "Ghost? That was just something I made up to try and keep unwary travellers away." She ponders that a moment; "We developed the doctor enchatment that was incorporated into the design I believe. I wasn't on that particular project." Cure looks a bit taken aback at that last one; "The Steel Rangers are Earth Ponies. They don't have anything to do with Megaspells. That was us and the MAS. The Steel Rangers were MAS

07[13:53] * +Primer looks at Fire_Lily with concern. Did she push a bit too far? Maybe. She would like to help the little unicorn with her fobia if possible, but she needs something, some way to help Lily get past her fear of fire.
[13:53] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure blinks; "DIdn't you know? The MoP developed the Megaspell structure in the first place. Fluttershy created it as a way for her healers to reach everypony on the battlefield at once. To keep ponies from dying simply because they couldn't be reached in time."
07[13:55] * +Primer rubs her temples. She hated being the big dumb pony. She longed for the night.
07[13:55] * +Desert_Storm looks up from her chocolate bar and nods to both of them. "Something you two need to talk about alone then?"
07[13:57] * +Keen grimaces. "And then they modified it and turned it into a weapon." Best future ever, huh, Keen? Just think what would've happened if you were dead before you were stationed at Littlehorn. See how many ponies would've lived. He suddenly looked very weak, very quickly. "I... See."
07[13:57] * +Primer nods to Storm. "If you don't mind."
[13:57] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle gestures to a seat closer to the bar (and herself) that Desert is welcome to.
07[13:57] * +Fire_Lily shakes her head. "I'm fine..." She takes a sip of her cola to prove it.
[13:58] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure sighs; "Sadly, I'm one of the ones responsible for that very development. I can't help but feel that my current state is punishment for that."
07[13:58] * +Primer gives Fire_Lily a dubious look.
07[13:58] * +Desert_Storm doesn't mind and takes up Bottle's seat. "Give me something that'll make me forget."

04[14:01] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottles nods; "Got something new I'm working on after Karina okayed that new RAD soda." She pulls out a bottle of Sparkle~Cola RAD and a bottle of Vodka. She splashes them together, then drops in a couple of chalky tablets and mixes it together until it turns an almost radioactive green. "Still working on a name, but it's potent. Lemme know what you think and this first one'll be on the house."
07[14:01] * +Fire_Lily takes another drink, to avoid answering.
[14:03] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure gives a soft smile; "Still, now that I've met you, I've had a bit of a change in perspective. Between the cloak and the steady supply of Mint-als, I should be able to do a lot more with the time i have left."
07[14:03] * +Desert_Storm takes the drink in hoof without really looking at it. Taking a decent sized sips she-HOLY SHIT. She caughed violently and slammed the glass on the table. "You may... want to try 'Paint Thinner'. What were those tablets?"
[14:04] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle nods; "Okay, so it needs work. I'm working on something that can get you drunk and at the same time kill a hangover. The tablets were Mint-als. best stimulant I could think of."
07[14:04] * +Primer sighs and slumps back. Well, time to play the Ace. She gave her ear another scratch, damned thing never stopped itching. "Explosives scare me." She says, just loud enough for Lily to hear. Goddesses this hurt to say, hurt to lay out in the open. "Ever since I got this, including when my leg got blown to shit outside the house were we rescued you."
07[14:06] * +Keen frowns and kicks his hoof. Suddenly, he kind of just trots up and gives the highly radioactive ghoul a hug, whispering something to her. Maybe choking back a few tears.
07[14:06] * +SmartCookie started to sing silently another song: "We got bruised fetlocks. Kick flips and an ill invasion. They say loose lips sink ships but might get you probation. And we're deep six in the mix ripping round rotation. Chucking cheap tricks and kung fu kicks just to get sensation."
[14:06] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure is surprised, but reluctantly returns the hug. She doesn't hold it for very long, because radiation
15[14:08] * +Karina nods. "Right. Can we go get shot and be chow for a set of completely new monsters now?"

07[14:08] * +Fire_Lily stops drinking and puts the bottle down, giving a probing look, trying to discern how much of what Primer had said was true. "They... do?"
07[14:09] * +Keen extends his grip a little, weirdly leaving his hoof out. Damnit, the ghost was getting in on this. It felt cold, but comforting. He whispered something, then dropped his hooves.
07[14:09] * +Desert_Storm hangs her head again. Whatever, she still needed to get  little drunk. Sipping the nailpolish remover, a little more cautiously this time, the burning sensation subsides. "No, no. It's fine. It's just, nothing really tastes good right now. That's all."
[14:10] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle nods; "I see. Well, I'll keep working on it. Anything else you wanna tell me sugarcube?"

07[14:11] * +Desert_Storm snorts. "Freinds. Right.

15[14:12] * +Karina "Yep." She gets up to follow Keen out.
[14:12] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle looks cross; "Now, Ah'll admit that Cooke feller's a regular sheath filler, but the rest of 'em for what I can tell are good folk."
07[14:13] * +Fire_Lily starts inspecting the bottle of cola again, and responds quietly, "I just don't want anyone to get hurt... because of me..."
04[14:13] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 After departing the the Hospital, Keen and Karina manage to make it to the end of the street. At that time, Keen's ears catch a hint of sound nearby.

07[14:14] * +Primer nods. "Sure Lily, but it's your magic, right?"
04[14:14] * +Keen inhales, then stops Karina mid-trot. "Hold on. I hear something." He motions toward the Stable-Tec building and tries to get a visual.
07[14:15] * +Desert_Storm looks at Bottle with tired eyes, hidden behind her glasses. "We're just a bunch of emotional timebombs waiting to go off. All it takes is somepony to cross the wrong wires."
15[14:16] * +Karina stops cold and throws her hood back up over her head. "Kin..." Instinctively she starts finding a place on the side of the street to fade into.
07[14:16] * +Fire_Lily squeezes her eyes shut. "Yeah... but I already almost hurt my family! I... couldn't control it."
15[14:16] * +Karina also grabs her 10mm
[14:16] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 From within the Stable-Tec building, a trio of oddly mismatched figures appears. The first is a griffon wearing armour and carrying a whip, which she currently has curled around a talon. The second is a green unicorn whose horn is broken and is standing on her hind legs. The last is a bizarre insectoid creature. All three are apparently female.
[14:18] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The griffon steps forward towards Keen; "Well lookie what we got here ladies. Another sap ripe for the picking."
07[14:19] * +Primer smiles and leans forwards untill her muzzle is close to Lily's forehead. "Then I'll help you, foal steps. Just a little teeny tiny bit each day. Soon, you'll light the fireplace without needing to think about it. How does that sound Lily? A step at a time?" She gives Fire_Lily a peck on her horn and sits back.

"I don't suppose this is an encounter we can both walk away from without weapons being drawn." His rifle and pistol felt heavy on his person.
[14:20] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The griffon uncurls her whip. The unicorn, still standing on her hind legs uses a pair of what looks like mechanical talons grabs a pair of SMGs from holsters at her waist. The bug thing stands there looking intimidating.
07[14:21] * +Keen blink blinks and... Oh hell no.
07[14:22] * +Primer drinks from her Cola. Okay, now to actually think of some way to help Fire_Lily.
[14:23] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The griffon smirks; "You wanna get away without getting hurt? Drop any valuables you might by carrying and you can be off."
07[14:25] * +Keen steps back nervously. "Well. If this isn't karma for my pre-war, wartime dating habits, I don't know what is." He shuffled his wings back behind him. He might be needing to use them soon.
07[14:26] * +Fire_Lily takes another drink of cola, feeling a little better about the whole thing.
07[14:26] * +Keen sighed and scratched the back of his mane, feeling quite tense. "I don't suppose you all ever heard of a pony named Keen Shine?"
15[14:27] * +Karina works her mouth over her pistol's grip, ready to take a shot at the first sign of violence.
[14:28] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 None of these three are ghouls. The griffon blinks; "Um... no. Why?" She looks to the other members of her little posse. The broken horn unicorn shrugs, while the Changeling's expression doesn't change.
07[14:28] * +Keen looks pleadingly at the Changeling. "Oh come -on-. With you, it didn't even end that bad."
15[14:29] * +Karina slowly realizes what Keen was thinking of... She'd heard a couple of the stories... She smirks around her pistol's grip.
[14:29] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The Changeling blinks, looking... insectoid expressions are hard to read.
07[14:31] * +SmartCookie gets up to his hooves and takes another look around. He then heads on over to Cap's store.

07[14:32] * +Keen backs up a bit, smirking a bit. "And let me guess. You're rough in bed, and she's into an alien race named 'Humans' from a book she's read." It was a long shot, but hey.
[14:33] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The griffon squawks indignantly; "None of your business twerp!" The unicorn looks at her mechanical hands curiously. Her cutie mark is a harp.
07[14:34] * +Keen nods. Oh Celestia's flank. "And do you know why I'm guessing you haven't heard of Keen Shine?" He said backing up a bit. Hospital shouldn't be far now.
[14:35] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The griffon barks; "Enough shit." She advances on Keen and snaps the whip at him.
07[14:35] * +Keen looks at the unicorn and gives her a pleading look. "Also, please don't use those on anypony. I've had a bad enough time when past you was describing it how it works."
07[14:36] * +SmartCookie walks up to Cap and asks: "You don't have by any chance a spare barrel for a sawed-off shotgun, do you?"
[14:37] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The griffon's aim with the whip is hard as the snap catches Keen in the face hard enough to leave a bleeding gash.
[14:38] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cap nods to Cookie; "Sure, I got something you can use. 25 caps."

07[14:40] * +SmartCookie hoves over the bottlecaps, and asks: "You don't mind if i use your workbench?"

[14:43] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The unicorn is caught by surprise as she is peppered with bullets. One of them catches her left hoof's mechano-hand, causing her to drop one of her SMGs, The other two punch deep into her belly, her Merc's uniform not doign much to stop them.
07[14:43] * +Fire_Lily finishes off the cola and starts idly twirling the bottle in midair with her TK.
07[14:44] * +Primer looks at Fire_Lily with envy. Damned corns with their fancy smancy magic n' snit.
07[14:44] * +Desert_Storm sighs and downs Bottle's lighter fluid. She was feeling better, her insides were warm at least. "Thanks. I'll take a Sparkle Cola please."
07[14:45] * +SmartCookie trots on over to the workbench and starts 'repairing' the damaged shotgun, only to fuck it up worse than it was before. Though luck... He huffs and gets out of the store, and throws himself unmotivatedly to the ground.
15[14:45] * +Karina fires two more shots at the unicorn before switching targets and firing one at the griffin.
[14:45] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Bottle obliges with a regular Sparkle Cola.
[14:48] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Hornless Harpy goes down before she even realizes what happened, collapsing in a heap and dropping her other SMG.

[15:03] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The griffon shrieks and launches herself into the air after Keen. She throws the whip at him twice

07[15:07] * +Keen looks at the Griffin and smiles. Not Sabine. Thank Luna it wasn't Sabine. Sabine wouldn't lose grip of her whip. He grinned, dashed away, then fired two shots at the not-ex girlfriend, one of them aimed.

07[15:16] * +Primer starts to scoot around the floor om her belly, using her hindlegs as propultion.

[15:24] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The unconscious changeling is breathing shallowly and bleeding profusely.

[15:29] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia looks at Storm's wing, then ushers her inside and motions for her to lay on a cot.

07[15:30] * +SmartCookie stares at the barmare with a nearly hateful expression on his face. He then looks at the counter and runs his hooftip over the wood's structure.
15[15:30] * +Karina takes a step back and sits down, and shakes her head, not quite believing what she's seeing. "So after you fix the holes and the cuts and save its life... what?"
07[15:30] * +Primer lies down and curls up around Fire_Lily, well, they might as well have a quick nap before the others come back.
04[15:31] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 There's a bright flash of green and Cure appears beside Keen and Karina, her hood drawn; "I heard gunfire; what happened?!" She demands
07[15:32] * +Fire_Lily totally isn't sleepy at all, but enjoys the comfort anyway
07[15:32] * +Keen is dealing with a Changeling that's rapidly bleeding out. Oh Celestia no, please Celestia no. "Less talk! More heal!"
15[15:32] * +Karina steps out of the way and heads over to the green unicorn.
[15:32] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia carefully unwraps the bandages and begins prodding at storm's wing; "Now, I don't have too much experience with Pegasi, so just let me know if anything hurts."
07[15:33] * +Desert_Storm winces a little. She did not like ponies touching them, but she trusted the doctor.
[15:34] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure observes the wounded creature before her and obliges Keen. She trusted him, and could worry about why he was helping a changeling later. She wraps the insectoid in a greenish glow, screwing up her face in concentration.
[15:35] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The changeling coughs and sputters as the numerous bullet holes slowly close. The Magical Energy wound remains a nasty scar on its carapace.
07[15:36] * +Keen sighed with relief. "Alright. That's enough." He patted her on the back and proceeded to do the routine check-up from there. "Thank you for coming along. These ponies came up and started shooting at me. They remind me of my ex's. I... Wouldn't have been happy if the one that ended pretty well was the one that died here."
[15:37] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Gardenia pokes and prods at the wings, flexing them a couple different ways. "Seems to be intact, but I'd recommend avoiding any strenuous flying. Pegasi have hollow bones, right?"
[15:37] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure looks at Keen like he's crazy; "Well... alright then. Are you unharmed?" she looks at the gauze patch on his face.
07[15:38] * +Keen blinks. "Oh. This?" His neck glowed for a bit, and he peeled off his gauze. "Nah. I'm alright."
07[15:39] * +Desert_Storm nods, concentrating very hard on the tiles on the floor. One errant thought... "Right."
[15:39] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure nods, noting that the bleeding had stopped. "Alright then. What are you going to do with that?" she asks, pointing at the unconscious but stable changeling.
07[15:40] * +Keen coughs into his hoof, then looks at the Changeling. "I... Honestly hadn't thought that far." He gave a grim chuckle. Great. Cure saved her. Now what was I going to do with her?
[15:40] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The Changeling looks to be back to full intactness, except for the magical energy scar. It stirs, making an odd chirping noise.
15[15:42] * +Karina stuffs the two SMGs into her cloak then walks back over to the ponies and changeling.
[15:44] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure is looking at the Changelign with a look of near revulsion. "I'd say just leave it."
15[15:44] * +Karina looks at Cure suddenly. "Why?"
[15:45] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure snorts; "It'll starve to death without somethign to feed on, just like any parasite."
07[15:46] * +Keen has a long face and slings the Changeling, Ziiri he called her, over his back. "I see that all my patients get their fair dues. Even the odd ones." He frowns at Cure. "I'll have you know the one that I dated for a little while was awful sweet. And she couldn't have gotten this far with those other two if she didn't feed off of something other than love."
15[15:47] * +Karina blinks. "The three of them looked plenty healthy to me." She looks and Keen then turns around and starts trotting back to Gutterville.
[15:48] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cure sighs; "As you wish. I won't stop you, but trust me when I say that treating somepony who has been drained by a changeling is an ordeal."
15[15:48] * +Karina grabs the unicorn's hands as she passes by. Maybe Cookie or Primer knew something to do with them.

07[15:55] * +Desert_Storm trots out of Gardenia's with  smile on her face. She unfurls her wings and takes off, flying in a slow circles around the square before coming down floating in front of the tavern. There's Cookie, what's he on about?
04[15:55] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 With a rather eclectic group of Muggers dealt with, Keen and Karina make their way back to Gutterville with an unlikely passenger.
07[15:56] * +SmartCookie sits down again and watches Storm fly for a while before lighting up another cigarette.
15[15:56] * +Karina starts trotting directly for the clinic. Not only did they have beds to spend the night on, but Keen would be headed there with the bug anyway.

[16:02] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 As if on cue, the Changeling's eyes flare open. It lets out a series of hisses and clicks, then flies to the far wall, facing Keen and Gardenia. It hisses more and bares it's fangs, clicking frantically.
07[16:02] * +Keen just stares it down. "If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't have brought you to a hospital. Calm down."
[16:03] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The CHangeling keeps its heckles and wings flare, but closes its mouth. It blinks a few times
07[16:03] * +Desert_Storm trots into the bar and spots Squirt and big sis napping on the floor. She tilts her head toward the stairs and motions Bottle over.
07[16:03] * +SmartCookie blows a couple of smokerings and watches them drift away.

Cure did. But what are the odds of this one believing him when he said a radioactive ghoul friend of his patched her up? "Ziiri. You ever hear of anypony named that? Ex of mine. Kind of looked like you when you were...

07[16:21] * +Primer gently moves Fire_Lily to a bench and tucks the little unicorn in with her own blanket.

04[16:44] * +Keen nods and smiles at Kar. "That works." He looks at Karina. "I... Look. This might sound... Odd. But I have a bad feeling letting him come with us. Like if he does, we'll take him to a place that'll kill him."

She rummages briefly in a saddlebag and pulls out the teddy ursa she took from the hospital and places it in the little hollow of Fire_Lily's curled up form. Then she moves silently out of the bar and dashes towards the source of the shriek.

[16:52] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Twerp nods and flashes green again, turning into a spitting image of Pinkie Pie. At least in face. The body is a brighter colour of pink and there's no cutie mark.

04[16:52] * +Primer sits and trows her hooves into the air. "So, that's where you were, getting a new friend for us. Kar, I was starting to get really worried."
15[16:53] * +Karina smirks. "Sorry. Oh!" She digs around and pulls out two mechanical hands and gives them to Primer.
07[16:53] * +SmartCookie turns around and cringes, still looking at the group. "Well that's just fucking creepy, don't you say!", he says reproachfully.
07[16:54] * +Keen nods. "Yes, this'll do perfectly. Thank you, Twerp." He grins, then seriouses up. "Oh, he-" Let's not tell them how we met, Keen. "I dated one of them, I'll have you know." It was the best sex he's ever had. "I can vouch he's probably not going to start trouble. Is that right?"
[16:55] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 twerp nods enthusiastically. "Queen say to protect hive. This town is hive. Will protect."
07[16:57] * +Primer looks at them, confused. "Hands..." She lifts them and examines them closely. "One's busted." She slips the whole one over her right hoof, and flexes the fingers, the fingers go wonky a couple of times but... "Queen?"
15[16:57] * +Karina gives an annoyed grunt then curls up in her bed.
07[16:57] * +Primer looks at Keen. "What's the... Twerp? Talking about? Queen?"
07[16:58] * +SmartCookie watches them and shakes his head. Frickin' great, was it no? Now they ignored him completly, except for the times they needed some repairs... If he went outside the bloodwings probably would ignore him aswell, right?
07[16:58] * +Keen has a deadpan look on his face. "Don't laugh. They don't have genders. And it's a long story."

07[17:14] * +Fire_Lily opens her eyes, suddenly realizing she'd fallen asleep. She sits up quickly. I'm awake! See... Wasn't tired at all... At this point she notices that Primer was gone -- but something else was here. She inspects the object curiously.
07[17:15] * +Desert_Storm trots downstairs and out the door. There they are. She took off, floating lazily off the ground and approaches Keen. "Where were you all of yesterday?"

07[17:16] * +Keen looks at Desert. "Getting into fights. Patching up a member of a race of insectoid shapeshifters. Saying goodbye to a radioactive ghoul who lives in a hospital. The usual."

07[17:19] * +SmartCookie decides to get to caps place. He trots inside and heads for the counter.
07[17:19] * +Desert_Storm lowers her glasses. "Good for you. You got in a fight?" She pokes Keen with a hoof. "Idiot! This is why you don't go anywhere alone!"

[17:45] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The party proceeds out of Gutterville, led by the markers on Cookie's Pipbuck map. About halfway to Scrapton, the group passes underneath a Four Stars monorail line. Standing before them beneath the overpassing tracks are a familiar looking pair of ghouls.
07[17:47] * +Keen looks at the two ghouls. Oh, great. Let me guess. They're going to try to kill us now, right? "Hello again. Nice to see you two." He said in a rather flat, jaded tone.
15[17:48] * +Karina makes sure her hood is properly in place before stopping.
[17:48] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 One ghoul looks to the other; "Looks like I own you fifty caps. It was the same guys." The other one smirks and steps forward. "The Sheriff wants to see you."
07[17:50] * +Primer don't care much for these fellows, but lets have Keen hear what the Sheriff has to say.
07[17:50] * +Desert_Storm tightens her grip around her rifle. She didn't like the smirk on that ponies face.

The Sheriff don't usually give out invitations like this, so you either really got his attention, or really pissed him off. I'd lean towards the former myself, seeing as how he didn't just tell us to kill you."

07[18:05] * +Keen sighs. He wasn't going to piss the Sheriff off too much. If he could spare two ponies to come up and not shoot at us, then he can spare more to make us dead if he wanted to. Better make it on our terms if it's going to end like that. He looks towards the party for their input. "Don't suppose they'll be looking at us, then?"
07[18:06] * +Desert_Storm shakes her head. "Primer's right. We need to get moving."

07[18:09] * +Keen nods. Four out of six, then. "I think you can lead on."
07[18:10] * +Desert_Storm doesn't lower her weapon. That ghoul seemed awfully eager to let them in.
[18:11] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Hornrot turns and leads the group to a maintanance stairway that gets them up onto the monorail tracks. He then leads them about half a mile down the tracks to a station. There are a number of other ghouls milling around, and the place is rank with the scent of decay.
07[18:11] * +Primer follows warily. She turns her head and whispers to Fire_Lily. "Keep your smoke spell on standby... just in case."
07[18:13] * +Fire_Lily nods, whispering back, "Okay, I will."
07[18:13] * +SmartCookie simply follow the others.
07[18:14] * +Keen isn't completely revolted by the scent. Disgusted? Yes. Wanted to vomit? Yes. Probably wouldn't touch anything that wasn't strictly necessary to touch. But he had a more sad look in his eyes than anything.
07[18:14] * +Primer has smelled worse... don't ask.
[18:15] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Most of the ghouls look at the group once out of curiosity, but lose interest quickly. Blackhoof and Hornrot direct the group into the lobby of the terminal. A number of benches are occupied by other ghouls, and behind the reception counter one can be seen reclining in a hammock with a stetson pulled down over his face.
07[18:16] * +Primer walks up beside Keen. "Wanna bet who's the Sheriff?"
15[18:16] * +Karina shrugs as she sniffs the air. Around Roam... there were these monsters that, after you killed them, had all their guts come spilling out... That... that was worse.
07[18:18] * +Keen leans in to Primer. "I'm not a betting stallion, ma'am." He looks at the reception desk pony. "Mr. Rottingtail, I presume?"
07[18:18] * +Desert_Storm was very uneasy. Surrounded by the shambling dead. These things were fucking terrifying.
07[18:18] * +Primer mumbles. "It wasn't a bet you uptight featherball."
[18:19] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 "That's Sheriff Rottingtail." comes the voice of the reclining figure. He tips the brim of his hat back up and looks at the group. "This them?" He asks, looking at Hornrot and Blackhoof. They nod.
07[18:20] * +Keen remembers his first ghoul. He remembers screaming and pointing. She then proceeded to slap him and go along her way. He shuffles a bit uncomfortably. "Keen."
07[18:20] * +SmartCookie luckyly managed to gobble his prewar food down before arriving here...
[18:21] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The sheriff tilts his Hammock enough to dismount it, then steps around the counter to approach the group. He walks with a limp favouring his right leg. As soon as it can be seen, his left leg is noticably dessicated. Little more than spares strands of sinew holding together old bones.
07[18:22] * +Primer does not comment. No comment. No comment at all.
[18:22] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 He's wearing a Battle Saddle with two lever-action rifles on either side, and has an additional revolver holstered by his shoulder. He's wearing what looks like an armoured vest with a Silver Star pinned to it.
15[18:22] * +Karina notes the things the GM wrote down and proceeds to quietely watch.
04[18:23] * +Primer shushes Karina. Do not pay attention to the GM behind the fourht wall.

07[18:27] * +Keen nods at that. Probably forgot me as much as I forgot him. "As pleasant as this conversation is, Sheriff, I would like to be in town before the Bloodwings start coming down."
