FoE PnP Group Skyfall Session 33

[14:15:14] <Schorcht> -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[14:18:21] <Schorcht> It's a usual day back at work. Sun is shining, birds are chirping and telephones ring in a song like manner. All is well in the MoP building on this fine summer day. Co-workers Peace, Roulette, DT, and Bubblegum find themselves on a lunch break. What stories shall they share today before the bell whistles and they must get back to work?
[14:18:43] <Schorcht> **Session Begins**
[14:19:19] Bubblegum_Dreamer sighs as he looks between all of them. "Where did Roulette go off to?" He asks. "Should we keep an eye on her?"
[14:20:08] DT flops on the couch with Peace and opens one of the sparkle colas. "She's a big mare. She has a radio if she gets in trouble."
[14:20:22] Peace shrugs and start pressing the buttons on the her device.
[14:22:28] <Schorcht> The TV flickers to life, but all that appears is static snow.
[14:22:56] Roulette had last found a bathroom , she had let out a sigh as she began to search it for useful items , after that she move on to the stairwell to check on their condition.
[14:24:11] DT passes Peace the 130 caps he found on the floor. "Here Peace. You deserve a little loot for all your help." He grins.
[14:24:22] <Schorcht> Stairwells are completely collapsed and blocked by rubble.
[14:24:26] Bubblegum_Dreamer tilts his head as he looks at the TV. "Not like I expected any signals to be up, it is the apocalypse after all." He says as he moves up to the TV and flicks the channels around, looking for anything
[14:24:52] <Schorcht> Static Snow on all channels...
[14:24:55] Peace keeps fiddling.. "Caps?.. just lying around?"
[14:24:56] <Schorcht> Except one.
[14:26:28] Roulette lets out a small sigh seeing the stair well " well then " she said turning away heading back to the lunch room defeated in her treasure hunt
[14:26:37] DT chuckles. "Sure they were all piled up when we came in. Buy yourself something nice." He turns over to the strange box everyone is interested in. "So...what is that thing?"
[14:26:40] <Schorcht> The channel is actually footage of the planet. In the background it sounds as if people are talking to each other, but you can't make it out. Before too long there is a beep and it turns to static snow like the others.
[14:27:33] <Peace> "wow.. that was cool.. again?"
[14:28:05] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks as he saw that. "Uhh..." He flips through the channels, trying to find it again
[14:28:48] DT joins in and chants. "Again again!"
[14:29:05] <Schorcht> There is not repeat of what was just seen. Pure static snow this time.
[14:29:49] <Peace> "awwww..."
[14:30:11] Bubblegum_Dreamer sighs. "I can't find it. But that is weird. Maybe we should look on lower floors." He says as he steps outside. "Roulette?!"
[14:30:46] Peace sighs.. "I guess we should look for.. whatever we are looking for.."
[14:31:09] DT gets out the radio. "Hey we're heading lower. Get your flank back here." He stands and stretches. "Gotta find something for that memory orb.:
[14:31:19] Peace raise up and trots out into the corridor.
[14:32:04] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "If there is a basement, and it's not accessible via you know, elevator. There has to be A. A secret passage, or B. a well guarded entrance on the first floor."
[14:32:11] Roulette can hear her name as she approaches the lunch room , too see the others. " yah ?" she asked looking to bubbles " did you need anything hun ?"
[14:33:31] DT trots back towards the elevator. "Well I don't think we'll be lucky enough to find a secret passage without any clues. Better off finding some stairs."
[14:35:21] Bubblegum_Dreamer shakes his head. "Nothing much, a weird TV Channel." He sighs as he starts to move towards where the stairwell would be.
[14:35:58] <Schorcht> Stairwell is collapsed, ruined, and blocked.
[14:37:02] Roulette follows bubbles " its a no go if you're going to the stairs hun" she said to him , " we could just make a hole in one of the rooms down to the next floor"
[14:39:01] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "We could yeah." He says. "But is that smart?" He asks before thinking.
[14:39:08] <Schorcht> *Ding* The elevator opens up, ready to go.
[14:39:37] Bubblegum_Dreamer offers to the elevator. "Well the elevator is ready let's just take that."
[14:39:40] DT walks on in. "Didn't we have two more floors we could go to? Let's just try one of those."
[14:40:09] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "3rd floor then first, let's try 3rd next, it's going to be safest since I know first has monsters."
[14:40:12] Roulette shrugs abit and awaits her turn , like last time.
[14:40:24] Bubblegum_Dreamer waves to Roulette. "See you down there somehow."
[14:40:57] Roulette smiles a bit and waves to them.
[14:41:17] DT grins and waves back to Roulette.
[14:42:06] <Peace> "uhm... I don't think the elevator likes me..."
[14:42:34] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Aww it likes you fine, just stand still and don't shake it around and we'll be fine."
[14:42:57] <Peace> "..." "...oookay.." Peace enters the elevator.
[14:43:10] <Schorcht> The elevator shakes and whines once again.
[14:43:16] <Peace> "..."
[14:43:52] DT presses the third floor button
[14:46:03] <Schorcht> The elevator takes it's slow time to go down about 20 floors to settle and swing on the third floor. The doors open up and there seems to be a makeshift blockade, keeping anyone from entering the floor. "Shhhh!" A little bit of shuffling is heard.
[14:46:37] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks as he looks at the blockade. "Peace, can you get rid of this for us?" He asks as he picks up his Gauss pistol
[14:47:15] Peace gently pokes the blockade with one hoof.
[14:48:05] DT tries to look through any cracks in the blockade he can find.
[14:48:31] Roulette escapes the confounds of the elevator a box of torcher and sore hooves , freedom.. ' I'd rather fly down floors then fit in there again' she thought rubbing her side abit.
[14:50:09] Bubblegum_Dreamer tilts his head. "Who's there?" He asks looking through
[14:51:58] <Schorcht> There are small cracks to peer through because the barricade seems to be pile up desks and the like. The barricade is strong however. "What should we do?" "They obviously killed the defenses, we should be careful" The voices whisper. "Maybe we should let them i-" "Cut the wire" "What? Bu-" "Do it!"
[14:52:21] <Peace> "..."
[14:52:24] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks to PEace. "HIT IT NOW!"
[14:52:29] Peace burst through the barricade in full force.
[14:52:38] Bubblegum_Dreamer rushes through and pulls DT with them
[14:53:16] DT is grabbed and pulled along. "The fuck is going on? What wire?"
[14:53:27] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Elevator wire."
[14:55:37] <Schorcht> Peace smashes away the barricade, but a purple wall takes it's place, then a blue one, red one, yellow one. Several unicorns stand in awe with their horns glowing. The elevator begins to shake and whine more than ever.
[14:57:45] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "OH COME ON!" HE YELLS. "CAN'T I AT LEAST GET THROUGH TO LOOK UP STUFF ABOUT MY FATHER?!"
[14:58:11] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Twilight Marey and Jelly Bean I can't get a freaking break!"
[14:58:12] DT blinks. "What the hell? There's living ponies in here? Let us out!" He starts to look around the elevator for anything else.
[15:05:02] <Schorcht> A stallion earth pony comes into view standing between the shields and the unicorns. "No" She says flatly. *Snap* The elevator begins it's freefall screeching all the way down what you can clearly see as more than 3 floor. As you finally fall 6 floors you come to a sudden painful halt and an opening reveals what seems to be a basement. However this basement is cleaner than Tenpony Tower's bathroom and much more chromatic t
[15:06:50] <Peace> "What a bunch of!" Peace screams stumbling up on her legs.
[15:07:00] Roulette begins to wiggle talking into someponies belly " blah blah blah , stupid metal box of doom"
[15:07:08] Bubblegum_Dreamer ughs as he holds his head and looks up at the elevator top, looking for the emergency fire exit.
[15:08:20] <Schorcht> It is a single open room that opens up to a reception desk, and a large bulkhead door.
[15:08:50] Peace starts bashing away at the ceiling of the elevator.
[15:08:51] DT groans and rolls off a tiny pony. "Those bastards dropped us! They're gonna pay for that."
[15:10:09] <Schorcht> The elevator does have an elevator exit and you can see all the way to the first floor. However something massive is looking back. It howls and it echoes throughout the complex. Soon the light from the first floor begins to fade as some thick bulkhead doors seal off the elevator shaft from the first floor.
[15:10:57] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks. "Well then." He says as he steps out towards the reception desk. "I say we work our way back up to the third floor and kick their ass, but hey. We're in the basement now!"
[15:11:05] <Schorcht> Red emergency lights flick on and faintly light the room.
[15:11:48] Peace calm down and look out the elevator. Her ears lower in sudden fear...
[15:12:12] Roulette lays there for a moment now being semi freestanding up climbing on Dt so she'd take up less room.
[15:12:40] DT gets out of the elevator on shaky legs and starts to look around. "Yeah...fuck em." He winces a little as he walks around.
[15:12:55] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks back to Peace. "Are you okay?"
[15:13:02] <Peace> "...what was that?"
[15:15:04] Roulette pulls free a potion from her duster and holds it in front of dt tapping his muzzle with it. " here darlin"
[15:15:32] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "That big thing?" He shrugs. "Something that comes out every so often to roar and punch up ghouls." He says. "I've seen it maybe three times now."
[15:16:08] DT turns his head back to Roulette about to ask for one. He smiles and guzzles it down. "Thanks. As soon as we get back I'm sleeping in The Milkmare's clinic for a week."
[15:16:29] <Schorcht> "Oh that was just Rick" The terminal at the desk lights up and answers. The voice sounds cheerful.
[15:16:56] Roulette smiles a bit at dt but turns her attention to whatever the hell was talking ?
[15:17:16] <Peace> "huh.." Peace says at Bubblegum, "Huh?" Peace says at the disembodied voice.
[15:17:41] <Peace> "Huh!?" Peace says noticing Roulette being here.
[15:17:51] DT approaches the terminal. "Rick?"
[15:18:18] <Schorcht> "Mhm. Rick. Or 'Rock' as they came to call him"
[15:18:36] Bubblegum_Dreamer look to the terminal. "Rick the Rock." He says with a snicker before looking at it. "And who are you?"
[15:19:48] <Schorcht> "I'm am Steve! It seems this place is popular as of late. First a zebra, then a hellhound. Before that noone has been around... well before me anyways"
[15:20:51] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks lightly. "A hell hound?" He says. "And a zebra?"
[15:21:17] DT thinks Rick Rock is a stupid name. He raises an eyebrow at...Steve. "Uh...huh. Don't suppose you can help us out of here Steve."
[15:21:41] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Orrrr help me find some information about my dad?"
[15:23:32] <Schorcht> "I have no idea who you are. So knowing your dad is sort of impossible don't you think? Getting out of here?.... Other than the elevator I suppose you could take the freight elevator up, but that is a few floors up and unless you have access in here you're shit out of luck my friends"
[15:25:59] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks and produces his fathers ID. "Well i kinda assumed you were an AI."
[15:26:26] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Thus it's kinda possible you might have known my father, Sleepy Time Dreamer."
[15:26:40] DT is looking in the desk for anything useful. "AI...Whats the A stand for?"
[15:26:49] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Artificial."
[15:27:38] <Schorcht> "AI? Oh no friends. I am as organic as you are!"
[15:28:21] <DT> "Ohhh...." Continues to look through the desk. "So where are you then? And why do you have this set up down here?"
[15:28:52] <Schorcht> The voice gasps however at Bubblegum_Dreamer. "You are the son of 'The Creator'? He and his almighty power shall help us rise from our forms to become something greater!" The voice seems to be losing his shit.
[15:29:13] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks. "Does that make me jesus?"
[15:29:36] <Schorcht> The voice is in chant right now.
[15:29:57] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Well yeah I am actually." He says in his normal form. "I'm Bubblegum Dreamer." He says and then waits for the voice's chant to be over.
[15:31:08] <Schorcht> "Condemn those who wish to act upon the angelus and his kin, for they shall be burned in hellfire, flesh added to the bath towers of accession!"
[15:31:37] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Sooo... Does this mean you will protect me since I am his child?"
[15:32:06] <Schorcht> "But we pray to he, and his kin to take us away. It is you who protects us"
[15:33:01] DT gazes flatly at the computer. "Tch. You should just protect yourselves. Don't rely on somepony else." He starts to bang on the bulkhead door. "Can you open this?"
[15:33:05] Peace is not sure what is going on...
[15:33:48] <Schorcht> "Only The Creator may open the gates into ascension!~"
[15:34:53] DT only bangs louder. "Well that's freaking fantastic. Can you put him on? Because this is the only way out I can see."
[15:35:20] <Schorcht> There seems to be a card reader on the desk.
[15:35:45] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Oh." he says and moves to the card reader, sliding his father's card.
[15:36:02] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "DT, my dad's the creator." He says with a deadpan.
[15:37:00] <Schorcht> The card reader beeps and turns green. "Welcome, Head Scientist Sleepy Time" The safety alarms around the bulkhead start to blare as it slides open. Steve however has turned into incoherent screaming and cheering before going silent.
[15:38:32] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks to the others and waves the card. "We're going into Mecca and I'm jesus." He smirks and steps through the door.
[15:38:34] DT blinks as his banging produces results! "Hey look! I got the door open. Heh I am so smart." He trots on through the opening
[15:39:23] Peace trots up to the side of Jesus. "...are you Sleepy time? I thought you were Bubblegum Dreamer!"
[15:40:19] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Well I've got my father's spare ID." He says with a smile. "I am entitled to his work after he passes." He shrugs to Peace. "But Sleepy Time was my dad, I thought he did normal office work... but apparently not."
[15:40:21] <Schorcht> The bulkheads open to a large laboratory and it seems as if this is where you are to put on white clean suits. On the other side of the airlock tables are adorned with apparatuses and flasks, tubes, concoctions of all sorts.
[15:40:46] Peace smirks.
[15:40:58] <Peace> "so.. what is this place?"
[15:41:36] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "You've got me..." He says before looking around and sighing, looking for anything to help him make hide nor hair of this
[15:41:49] DT takes a look at the airlock door. "Who cares...Can't go back and this is the only way through. Just gotta keep moving."
[15:44:05] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Well DT, this is a kinda big deal, because no doubt something the Milkmare would want is down here. And no doubt something I deserve to inherit is down here."
[15:46:22] DT shrugs. "Well when you find it tell me. Just saying what this all was, is probably lost to time. Don't get your hopes up." DT tries going through the airlock door.
[15:47:37] Bubblegum_Dreamer rolls his eyes. "DT, haven't you learned. Nothing in the wasteland is really lost to time."
[15:51:09] <Schorcht> Once everyone moves to the airlock it blasts them all with a quick mist. "Decontamination complete" The door slides open allowing access to the inner workings of the lab.
[15:52:13] Bubblegum_Dreamer trots on in, coughing a bit before looking around. "Well... time to try and make sense of my fathers work." He says, doing just that
[15:52:57] DT is glad for his gas mask. He takes a look around. "Huh...reminds me a bit of the chem labs I used to work in."
[15:54:09] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "You used to work in chem labs?"
[15:54:17] <Schorcht> One thing this lab has that others do not is a network of plexiglass tunnels that go around along and through the wall, and up and along the roof.
[15:55:20] DT is trying to make heads or tails of the labs. "Well sort of. I mostly ran the chems but right before my last Master got himself killed, I did manage to make em."
[15:56:16] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks as he looks at the tunnels. "Well that's weird." He says, looking around for notes. "Well good, maybe some of this will make sense to you if it doesn't for me."
[15:57:06] <Schorcht> The tubes on the roof rattle and shake.
[15:58:09] Peace looks around with interest, but dares not touching anything.
[15:58:24] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks at the tubes
[15:59:04] DT looks up from what he's looking at to yell at Bubblegum. "Oi! What's weird? Is it that hard imagine me working with all this sciencey stuff?"
[16:00:04] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Now the weird tubes you dolt."
[16:00:08] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> no*
[16:00:39] <Schorcht> Out from one of the walls appears a brown hair covered creature that navigates the tunnels with ease. Soon enough he reaches the closest point between him and the group and presses his hairless face against the tube. In his tail he holds a banana.
[16:01:03] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Monkey."
[16:01:20] Bubblegum_Dreamer is very confused right now
[16:02:22] <Schorcht> The monkey peels the banana and watches the group in awe as he slowly eats the banana.
[16:02:59] DT blinks and walks over to Bubblegum. "Woah. What you call that thing? It's pretty cool looking."
[16:03:44] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "They... should all be dead." He says confused. "They should have been extinct." He adds before looking to DT and then moving to the chemicals, looking over the table. "AND HOW DOES IT HAVE A BANANA?!"
[16:04:28] <Schorcht> "There is a dispenser in my living quarters, kin of The Creator" It answers.
[16:04:47] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Oh." He says and sighs. "So what are monkeys doing around here?"
[16:04:52] Bubblegum_Dreamer blinks for a second.
[16:05:04] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "THAT MONKEY... You're steve aren't you."
[16:05:11] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "And Rick is probably a gorrilla."
[16:05:30] DT eyes light up. "Holy shit! It can talk!"
[16:05:38] <Schorcht> The monkey strikes a pose as if he was wearing a top hat and fancy suit. "The one and only Steve"
[16:06:15] Bubblegum_Dreamer bangs his head against the table lightly. "So then..." He looks to Steve. "Can you tell us who those ponies upstairs are?"
[16:07:41] <Schorcht> "Ponies upstairs? I have no idea what goes on beyond where Rick protects... or roams. It's all rather subjective I suppose"
[16:08:35] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "So..." He sighs and thinks. "Do you know where The Creator's main room was?" He asks. "And may I, as the kin of the Creator, enter it?"
[16:09:26] DT looks around the monkey's container. "And uh...Do you want us to let you out of there?"
[16:10:55] <Schorcht> "The blood of The Creator can roam freely. He frequently was up a floor" Steve looks to DT. "It is rather impossible. The combined strength of me and my kin could not break the Glow of Protection. It kept us safe however"
[16:12:38] Bubblegum_Dreamer nods. "Monkeys are rather strong, stronger than normal ponies." He says with a smile. "My dad always read me a book on wildlife when I was... a kid." He sighs. "I really hope he wasn't training me or something." He looks to Steve. "So how do we get up a floor?"
[16:14:00] <Schorcht> "There is a stairwell north of here. But be careful Kindred. Things that did not ascend lurk here. Those not worthy"
[16:14:47] DT shrugs and goes back to looking around the labs. "Sounds spooky."
[16:14:54] Bubblegum_Dreamer nods. "So... is it okay to rid the not worthy in the name of the Creator?" He asks
[16:16:27] <Schorcht> "Legend says that Rick is one of the most unworthy. But the blue winged devil gave him the strength to fight The Creator and his angels. Others believe he was blessed to guard the Gate forever. Our Cerberus to your Tartarus"
[16:17:58] DT prods Roulette and Peace. He whispers. "Either of you wanna try to translate? I'm only understanding about half of what this thing says."
[16:19:05] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks to DT. "Basically Rick is the monster that roared at us. Some say some sort of blue winged devil gave him power to try and kill my father and his co scientists, the others think he's like a giant guard dog." He says before looking to Steve. "Who's the blue winged devil?"
[16:19:15] <Schorcht> "Unworthy are to be washed clean from the world. Feel free to do as you see fit Kindred. You may cleanse them or you may spare them of their pain and unworthiness. The Creator lacked the power to do so, or perhaps he could not find it in himself to do so"
[16:19:46] Peace shrugs
[16:21:15] <Schorcht> Steve banged at the tube. "The blue winged devil! She often came by to judge The Creator as if she had power over him! She never had nice words and everywhere she stepped she left a false foul rainbow in her wake. She was the one to often bless the unworthy when The Creator did not. He created us and all that we are"
[16:22:38] DT wonders how a rainbow could be foul. "Riiight. Erm just how old are you Steve? When did all this happen?"
[16:23:03] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Oh It was Rainbow Dash." He says as he sighs. "Got it." He starts to trot towards the stairs. "I'll wait for y'all I'm not going to take on monkeys by myself.
[16:23:17] <Schorcht> "These are the stories of my people. I am not but 22 Power Cycles in age"
[16:23:55] DT blinks and tries to look past Steve. "There are more of you back there?"
[16:24:36] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Where... Where did the Zebra and Hellhound go Steve?"
[16:25:22] <Schorcht> Steve frowns. "No... I am the last of my people. An illness has befell them. It runs among most of us. It causes a blindness in faith..." He shakes his head. "Those blind in faith turned against their kin"
[16:26:20] <Schorcht> "The zebra turned away one he could not pass The Gate. However the Hellhound tunneled in 2 floors up. It seems our land deemed him unworthy however"
[16:26:28] DT looks crestfallen. "Oh...bummer." DT joins Bubblegum by the door ready to go.
[16:32:37] Bubblegum_Dreamer looks to Peace and Roulette
[16:33:51] Peace blinks..
[16:34:01] DT floats out his guns and heads for the door. "Welp ready to go? Can't put getting torn apart by 'Unworthy' off forever." He gives a weak grimace to the rest of them.
[16:34:39] Bubblegum_Dreamer smiles and grabs his Gauss pistol in his tail. "I'm even more confused about those ponies on the 3rd floor now, so let's go."
[16:34:49] <Schorcht> Steve starts to cough and argue with himself quietly before he scurries off into another room and out of sight.
[16:35:29] <Peace> "so... fight our way up through a bunch of unworthy monkeys?"
[16:35:47] DT nods and walks towards the exit. "Same...You think they might be after whatever was going on down here?"
[16:37:22] Bubblegum_Dreamer nods. "Maybe." He says before blinking. "I'm thinking Steve ain't alright either." He says as he ascends up the staircase
[16:39:19] <Schorcht> The stairwell opens up to a long hallway that splits in a T at the very end. The tubes are all over here as well. On each side of the hallway lies 2 rooms with windows to look in.
[16:39:55] Bubblegum_Dreamer glances into one of the rooms
[16:40:13] DT walks up slowly to one of the windows and looks in. "Yeah...I'd rather not fight them to be honest. It's kind of sad."
[16:40:38] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Yeah... But honestly it's not different than feral Ghouls."
[16:40:53] <Peace> "..."
[16:41:37] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Peace... are you okay?"
[16:41:46] <Schorcht> The rooms peer into operation rooms. Each have cages laid on the back counter. Some read: Bunny. Cat. Weasel. Some are toppled over onto the floor.
[16:42:02] <Peace> "...Im okay... I just a bit uncomfortable with the situation.."
[16:42:42] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "How?" He asks, looking to her.
[16:42:49] DT flinches a little at the sight of the rooms. "The difference is theres plenty of ponies to take their place..." He gives a concerned glance back to Peace.
[16:44:04] <Peace> "Were stuck underground, and that creature was huge... and there is rabid bunnies hopping around?"
[16:45:15] <@Bubblegum_Dreamer> "Uhh, maybe?" He asks a bit, looking to PEace. "But we're not stuck, we've got an easy way up to the first floor. Then we can get out, fly back to the top, take the elevator down to the third floor and question those ponies."
[16:47:30] DT frowns a bit at Bubblegum. "Still gotta find a way through these labs." He walks up and tries to give a reassuring pat to Peace. "Don't worry we'll look out for eachother and all get out of this."
