- GN92489 Current issues: (as found by the PPI on 7/8)
- -slightly faded clearcoat on the front bumper and driver side mirror
- -front driver and passenger window regulators going out, passenger side making "crunching" noises
- -passenger side vent blowing air at a somewhat higher temperature than the center/driver side vent.
- -tiny leak from lower radiator temp sensor o-ring
- -aged/cracked thrust and control arm bushings
- -transmission mount bushings cracked
- -valve cover gaskets starting to weep, some oil burning smell when engine up to temp, probably weeping onto exhaust manifold
- -Power steering reservoir to cooler hose is leaking slightly, just need to cut back the hose and tighten the clamp
- -brake pads front 40%, rear 30%. Front rotors BELOW MINIMUM THICKNESS, rear rotors good
- -Transmission pan gasket weeping
- -right fog light not working
- -leather seams coming apart on both front seat bottoms (will be replaced by e38 seats anyway)
- NEWLY DISCOVERED ISSUES (once it arrived on 7/24):
- -possible beginnings of a REAR MAIN SEAL leak
- -EXPANSION TANK IS LOW OF COOLANT, orange float well below the filler neck when engine cold
- -Rear gas struts busted, both main hatch AND mini-hatch.
- -driver seat twist when using the raise/lower function of the seat bottom
- -"card in bicycle wheel" sound while driving, tied to speed and NOT rpm, noticeable at 20+ mph.
- -sunroof "vent" feature inoperative, heard a metallic "bang" sound while using it before it stopped working
- -POSSIBLE parasitic drain? dead battery after 7 days on the truck.
- -windshield wiper fluid leaking heavily, line completely busted somewhere, leaking down the driver side froht wheel well liner and also down the hood when the hood opens, doesnt spray any liquid on the windshield at all.
- -windshield wipers exceptionally squeaky when used
- -missing driver side grill chrome bits
- -some rock chips on bumper and hood, not certain if they've been there from the beginning?
- -rear passenger air vent (right side) is broken, missing slats.
- -rear privacy shade is jammed in place on the left side, cant unlatch it
- -rear passenger side door ash tray door thing wont close properly
