- LUNAR HERO STYLE
- This supernatural martial art comes naturally to the
- Lunar Exalted. Although it is a complete style, Lunars (and
- their players) may design custom Charms that bridge off of
- this style. (See the expansion Charms on pp. 151-152 for
- examples.) Other Exalted may not.
- Lunar Hero Style is best practiced only with natural
- weapons. Lunar Exalted often use the claws, teeth, hooves
- or horns of the Deadly Beastman Transformations with it,
- but other Exalted rarely have that capability. Practitioners
- may emulate this with tiger claws, even to the point of being
- usable with Charms.
- Practitioners other than Lunars substitute their Martial
- Arts rating for the Dexterity requirements for this style.
- This does not extend to any Lunar Charms outside this
- style: Eclipse and Moonshadow Caste Exalted must still
- possess the minimum Dexterity requirement to learn Lunar
- Charms that branch off from this basic tree.
- FOOT-TRAPPING COUNTER
- Cost: 4m; Mins: Dexterity 3, Essence 1; Type: Reflexive

- Prerequisite Charms: None
- Combat does not end until the Lunar allows it. Using his
- intimidating demeanor, the Lunar inflicts a compulsion effect
- on all opponents within ( Dexterity ) yards that can see him.
- This compulsion prevents any opponent from moving directly away
- from the character, which may be resisted for 1 Willpower. In
- addition, Foot-Trapping Counter also adds the Lunar's (Ess) to
- his Join Battle pool if used at the beginning of a fight.
- RABID BEAST ATTITUDE
- Cost: 3m; Mins: Dexterity 4, Essence 2; Type: Supplemental
- Keywords: Combo-OK
- Duration: Instant
- Prerequisite Charms: Foot-Trapping Counter
- The Lunar pounces upon his prey, attacking and mauling it in throes
- of the hunt. This charm allows the Lunar to make a free reflexive
- Dash or Leap action at his unmodified speed towards a single opponent.
- If the attack hits he may make a Clinch attack, adding the number of yards
- traveled in automatic successes, at a maximum equal to his Dexterity.
- THOUSAND CLAW INFLICTION
- Cost: 1m; Mins: Dexterity 3, Essence 2; Type: Refl exive
- Keywords: Combo-OK
- Duration: Until Next Action
- Prerequisite Charms: Foot-Trapping Counter
- Only the Lunar’s skill limits him, not the restrictions
- of capability. The character’s unarmed attacks each use his last attack
- position, defeating normal limits on the weapon. Activating
- this Charm allows the character to treat all Rate values as
- infinite until his next action.
- LUNAR HERO FORM
- Cost: 6m; Mins: Dexterity 4, Essence 2;
- Type: Simple (Speed 5)
- Keywords: Form-type, Obvious
- Duration: One scene
- Prerequisite Charms: Rabid Beast Attitude, Thousand Claw Infliction
- Drawing the Essence of Luna into her, the Exalt becomes
- an endlessly fluid warrior, seamlessly flowing from
- one movement to the next and capable of surprising her
- targets with every blow. The character reduces her multiple
- action penalties by an equal number to any wound penalties
- she may be suffering at the time (even if she is using charms
- to ignore or negate those penalties), or her Essence (which ever
- is lower). All coordinated attacks lead by the Lunar also
- double the penalty inflicted on the target's DVs.
- ARMOR-RENDING CLAW FIST
- Cost: 4m; Mins: Dexterity 4, Essence 3;
- Type: Simple (Speed 5)
- Keywords: Combo-OK
- Duration: Instant
- Prerequisite Charms: Lunar Hero Form
- With either a single swipe or a flurry of blows, the
- Lunar’s attack mangles joints and locks limbs in place.
- This attack target’s a foe’s armor, rather than the person wearing it.
- If successful, all mundane armor crumples inwards, multiplying
- both fatigue and mobility penalties by the Lunar's Essence and
- causing one Lethal damage to the wearer every time her DVs refresh,
- which may be soaked with their natural soak. The armor remains
- damaged this way until repaired; armor constructed from the
- magical materials only triple their mobility and fatigue penalties
- (or suffer penalties to both equal to the Lunar's Essence if they have
- no mobility or fatigue penalties) until the end of the scene.
- CROUCHING TIGER STANCE
- Cost: 4m; Mins: Dexterity 5, Essence 3;
- Type: Reflexive (Step 2)

- Prerequisite Charms: Armor-Rending Claw Fist
- To strike a Lunar is to taunt a tiger. Dropping into a low,
- threatening stance, the character becomes more difficult to
- strike. All attacks upon him lose a number of dice equal to
- the Lunar's (Essence). In addition, when the Lunar successfully
- dodges or parries any close combat attack, he may launch a
- counterattack against the attacker.
- DUST DEVIL ADVANCE
- Cost: 3m 1wp; Mins: Dexterity 5, Essence 3;
- Type: Reflexive (Step 6)
- Keywords: Combo-OK
- Duration: Instant
- Prerequisite Charms: Lunar Hero Form
- Using this charm, the Lunar becomes a whirling killing machine,
- constantly moving and attacking, ever aware of his surroundings
- and unable to be cornered or surrounded. While using this charm
- the Lunar must move at least a number of yards equal to his
- unmodified Dexterity, or the Charm cancels it's self. As long
- as he keeps moving he ignores all penalties from Onslaught and
- Coordinated Attacks, and instead adds them to his DVs. These bonuses
- are lost when the Lunar's DV refreshes.
- RUNNING THROUGH THE HERD
- Cost: 4m, 1wp; Mins: Dexterity 5, Essence 3;
- Type: Reflexive (Step 2)
- Keywords: Combo-OK, Counterattack
- Duration: Instant
- Prerequisite Charms: Dust Devil Advance
- In a combination of leading the attack, fooling her
- attacker and quickly dodging out of the way, the Lunar
- redirects an attack on her person toward someone else.
- The Lunar must be aware of the attack, which must have
- another valid target within (Dexterity) yards of the attack.
- The Lunar’s player rolls (Dexterity + Athletics) at
- a diffi culty of the attacker’s Perception. Success indicates
- that she redirects that attack, with all of its successes and
- effects, at another valid target of her choice. That attack
- then plays out as normal. If Running Through the Herd fails
- to redirect the attack, then the Lunar's ally gains a bonus
- to his DVs static value equal to the Lunar's unmodified Dexterity
- until the Lunar's DV refreshes.
- TERRIBLE WOLVERINE ONSLAUGHT
- Cost: 5m, 1wp, lhl; Mins: Dexterity 5, Essence 4;
- Type: Reflexive
- Keywords: Obvious
- Duration: One Scene
- Prerequisite Charms: Crouching Tiger Stance, Running
- Through the Herd
- After activating this Charm, the character becomes a
- ravenous, unstoppable beast. The character’s move and dash
- actions triple in distance after modifiers, and the player
- reduces penalties to all Dexterity related actions by his Essence.
- On the Lunar's action, all enemies who can see or hear him must
- must roll Willpower at a difficulty equal to the Lunar's Essence or
- take an internal penalty to their actions equal to Essence for the
- rest of the scene.
