[12:36] <Heron> I would guess that the attempt to convince people to merge wasn't preceeded by a 'get to know you' and thus doomed to fail. People will not uproot themselves for an unknown, and surely not one with a bad rep. I would also guess that it was done from a need by the asking guild for more people, and that when that need dried up (you said lots of people came back?) that the smaller groups were dropped like sacks of hot rocks. You can imagine how this would look like a blatant people-grab. Once the novelty of the new instance has dried up, try advertising some toshHM pugs, those are maybe more accessible to those who are not entirely geared yet and everyone and their mom wants that one for quests.

[12:38] <elle> i put a toon in EE to try and get some runs between the 2 going, but everytime i asked they werent interested...its just so hard with different guild communities...EE/EC are very much siege guilds
