  1. >It's been a long day for poor Ms. Skullnick
  2. >Her classroom had been more rambunctious than usual these past few months, thanks to the new foreign exchange student causing random magical mishaps all the time.
  3. >Including turning her into a troll
  4. >She just wanted the day to end so she can get home, pour herself some wine, practice for a hour with her battleaxe, and catch up with some of her romance novels that she's been too tired to read as of late
  5. >"Ms. Skullnick, the movie's been over for a few minutes, are we going to move on to discussion groups, or are we supposed to start writing an essay on the themes?" -Marco Diaz asked after putting down his hand that he'd been holding up for the past 5 minutes
  6. >Ah Marco Diaz, one of her best and brightest students, trying to keep her on track for the lesson plan that day
  7. >She was still hoping that he was going to rub off on the exchange student, Star Butterfly, and not the other way around.
  8. >"Yes, thanks for reminding me Diaz. Class I want you to pick one theme from the film and write a 5 page paper about it. It'll be due on Monday, so don't forget about it during the weekend!" -Ms. Skullnick yelled as the classroom started to empty as the school bell had just rung and the kids all rushed to get to their lockers and leave for the start of the glorious weekend
  9. >Marco however was still beside his seat, with his hand in the air again, even though Star was bouncing in her seat, waiting for Marco ask something so that they could leave
  10. >"Yes Diaz? Did you have a question about the assignment?" -Ms. Skullnick asked while collecting her things and trying not to yawn
  11. >"Not really, me and Star just wanted to ask if your fine with being a troll still. She's been practicing reversing the spell and she's got it down, but we wanted to ask you first if you would prefer to stay as you are or if you would like her to change you back...-Marco said while keeping an arm on Star's shoulder, as at this point she was vibrating in her seat, trying not to cast the spell and run out to her locker
  12. >"Thanks for asking first Marco, but honestly I do enjoy being a troll over being my old self. It has it's perks and it's given me a new leash on life.
  13. >Star, saddened that she wasn't going to be able to use the spell she'd be practicing the past 3 days, hung her head a little and stopped vibrating.
  14. >"That's fine Skullzie, at least your happy in the end, and thanks for letting us watch a movie! Learning about Earth culture is so much fun! -Star said while collecting her things and waiting at the door for Marco
  15. >"Thanks Butterfly, glad at least someone is learning something. Enjoy the weekend you two." -Ms Skullnick said to the duo as she shooed them toward the door and locked it behind them.
  16. >Well, thought Ms. Skullnick, at least Star has become a bit more polite since she first showed up. Plus she appears to have some extra self control. Diaz does appear to be having a positive effect on her.
  17. >"Perhaps things will be a little easier as time goes on, so long as Diaz keeps doing what he's doing." -Ms. Skullnick mumbled to herself as she walked to her car
  18. >Seeing the school bus about to leave, Ms. Skullnick smiled and waved as it started up.
  19. >Then some of the school bus' windows rolled down, and a fair amount of the kids from her class poked their heads out the windows and waved back, yelling variations of "have a great weekend!" to her
  20. >Feeling much better than she had a few minutes ago, Ms. Skullnick got into her car, still smiling, and started her drive home
