  9. As of Britain's Independence Day, the mod is no longer being worked on because the game is broken beyond all possible repair. All modders feel free to modify this however you want to, because I am not wasting any more arduous labour on Johan's shekel collector 2016.

  16. DESCRIPTION:
  17. This mod aims to provide a more historical and less 'flippant' experience to the game. Flags and country names are proper, so a change to communism or fascism will not yield a silly name for your country. There are lots of little miscellaneous changes too.
  18. In addition, I have added plenty of new music to the game.
  19. If you do not want this music, then, before adding the mod to HoI4, simply delete the music folder within the mod.

  28. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  29. Copy the .mod file and folder into the mod folder of the Hearts of Iron IV directory in your Documents folder.
  30. To make the mod compatible with the update, edit the .mod file to say
  31. >supported_version="1.0". I made a mistake when editing the version I updated by leaving a decimal point after the .0, so unfortunately this needs to be done.

  42. Overhauled my music changes so that the vanilla music is not overwritten and the country-specific marches I added only play for the correct country.

  48. Changed the portrait of Emperor Hirohito to Portrait Anon's so he no longer looks like he's melting.

  51. Added the Hoare-Laval Pact event.

  53. Changed the portriat for Henry Puyi to Portrait Anon's portrait.
  54. Added the 'Expanded Industry' mod which 'is a quick rebalance mod of Industrial techs that also adds two new buildings, Rubber plants which produce rubber, and Steel mills which produce steel'

  57. Enver Hoxha added as the leading communist in Albania.

  79. I made it so that (in theory) to hear the German songs you have to play as Germany, although it seems Paradox messed it up and sometimes you will hear songs meant for another country.
  80. Changed the flag of fascist Netherlands to the Prinsenvlag.
  81. Renamed Fascist Netherlands simply to 'The Netherlands'.
  82. Added the correct Japanese flag.
  83. Added the country of Manchuko (I copied it from a steam workshop mod)
  84. Added the correct flag for fascist Austria. Originally, the game uses the flag for the 'Fatherland Front' party rather than Austria's official state flag from 1934 to 1938.
  85. Changed the flag for fascist Belgium to the flag of the Rexist Party.
  86. Added some new loading screen quotes.
  87. Renamed fascist Saudi Arabia from 'The Arabic Empire' to Arabia.
  88. Changed the name of the fascist USA from the Free American Empire to the Silver Leigon of America, which was the leading fascist party in the USA in the interbellum period.
  89. Changed the flag of the fascist USA to Alternate Flag Guy's Fascist USA Flag that he used in this Alternate Flag Pack for Victoria 2.
  90. Changed the flag of fascist Finland to the Finnish flag with the logo of the Patriotic People's Movement.
  91. Changed the flag of fascist Canada from >a fucking leaf to the Canadian Ensign with the flash and circle.
  92. Renamed fascist Canada from 'The Canadian Empire' to simply Canada.
  93. Changed the fascist South Africa flag to the flag of the South African Gentile National Socialist Movement.
  94. Changed the fascist Australia flag to a more realistic one- the Australian fascist movement of the time were pro-British, so they would have kept the Union Flag Canton.
  95. Changed the fascist New Zealand flag.
  96. Changed the fascist Brazil flag to the flag of the Brazilian Integralist movement.
  97. Replaced the fascist Argentina flag with AFG's fascist Argentina flag.
