- "Beta" stages have a start platform and lead to an early version of a stage ingame. They generally have switch-operated rotating wormholes.
- "Alpha" stages are generally split into 8 sections. Most of these have very early versions of stages. Many are untextured.

- STAGE418 - No floor, no background. In the sky there is the bottom of Badboon's base. Presumably used in a story cutscene.
- STAGE419 - Monkey Island. Used in the story ending cutscene - there are holes where Badboon landed.
- STAGE420 - Inside The Whale (challenge) background. No floor. No swallowed skyscraper
