Fun Fair

	As I lay in bed contemplating the new ordinance, suddenly Beau, Diana, and Scoot barge through the door and into my bed room. Scoot is waving a piece of paper around yelling "DR.S DR.S, GET UP TODAY IS THE DAY!" I gently take the paper from Scoots tiny wing and read, Come one come all to The Bell Tree Fair. "Yes I know it's today, but just give me five more minutes of sleep" I said as I set the paper on the floor and rolled over in my warm bed. "But Dr. S, if we don't hurry we will miss breakfast" Beau said as his stomach growled. "Alright alright, I'm coming" I said as I got out of bed. We all walked to the train station and I spoke with Porter, he said it will be a few moments before the train arrives. I walk over to Beau "This should hold you over for awhile" I said as I handed him a perfect orange. His eyes lite up as he took the fruit and gobbled it down.
	"ATTENTION passengers the train is now arriving, please have a safe trip everyone" Porter announced as he shuttled us all onto the train. We all took our seats and a few moments later the train had stopped, we were finally arriving at The Bell Tree Fair. We emerged from the train and gasped at the colorful games, prizes and the amazing aroma of yummy food. "So what do you want to do first?" I asked as I turned around to face my friends. "I would love to look at the art." Diana said. "As long as I get some food, I'm happy doing anything" said Beau. "Spin the Wheel" shouted Scoot "and there it is over there!!" We walk over to the booth where a red, orange and yellow wheel hangs with numbers on it with a cat goomba standing beside it. "Welcome to Spin the Wheel, one of the finest events here at The Bell Tree Fair, you only get one spin" the cat goomba said. "Go for it Scoot, give it your all" Diana said, he smiles and nods his head at her. Scoot grabs ahold of the wheel and yanks it with all his might, We all watch as the colorful wheel spins round and round as it finally slows to a halt we all squeal with excitement. "Congratulations, you just won a pinwheel" the cat goomba says as he hands Scoot his prize. "Thanks so much" Scoot squeals back.
	"Now where should we go next?" I asked looking at Diana. "Let's go see the Art Contest booth" Diana said in a soft voice. "Okay, but after that it's my turn to get something to eat" Beau said rubbing his stomach. "Haha, sounds like a plan." I turned away and started walking towards the art booth, my friends following closely behind so they don't get lost in the busy streets. I stopped in front of the booth and turned to Diana saying "Here we are Diana" Diana turns and looks the booth over. There is so much beautiful art hanging in the booth, she looks up and sees a man in a suit looking down at her. "Up for flexing those artistic muscles of yours?" the man said to Diana. "Go for it Diana, you can do it." I said. The man hands her a piece of paper and a pencil, " Thank you" she replied. Diana sits down at a nearby table and gets to work on her drawing. Several moments later she walks up to the man and hands him her drawing and the pencil. "This is perfection, here take this prize" the man said handing Diana a beautiful rainbow feather. "Thank you so much" Diana said taking the feather. "Woah Diana you are so amazing, now is it my turn, Dr. S?" Beau asked me. "Haha yes Beau lets go" I said smiling.
	"Follow me" Beau demanded as he weaves his way in and out of the crowd, we followed him. Finally he stops in front a booth with the words Fair Food written on top. "How may I help you?" asks a pheasant. "We would like four slices of pecan pie please" Beau replies. "Sure thing, here you go" the pheasant hands each one of us a piece of pie. We thanked the pheasant for the pie and sat down at a table nearby. "This pie is so yummy" Beau said as he gobbled it up, all of us finished our pie, so we got up from the table. "This has been so much fun, but it's time for all of us to go now" I said to my friends. "I agree Dr. S, this has been quite a work out for me today, and I loved every minute" Scoot says. "Today has been amazing" Diana says sweetly. "The food was delicious" shouted Beau. I smiled at my friends, I was so happy that they had such a wonderful time, they deserved it. I led my friends back to the train station, today was so much fun, now it's time to go back to our villager of LuckyStar. It's nice to take a break once in a while from the stress of being a Mayor, these animals are counting on me and I got to give it my all.
