  1. WARNING: This is illegal in the US and Europe unless the medical system is involved. It may also be cost-prohibitive.
  2.
  3. You can do Estrogen (E), SERMs, or an Androgen Blockade (ADT).
  4.
  5. Each involve an anti-androgen (AA). Androgen refers to testosterone. There are dozens of AAs. Most will make you permanently sterile after extended usage (2+ years). We focus on four:
  6.
  7. Spironolactone, the most common AA used in the US. Cheap, safe, weak. Average daily dose: 200mg. Typical range: 100-300mg
  8. Cyproterone Acetate, the most common AA in Europe. Cheap, invasive, strong. Average daily dose: 50mg. Typical range: 25-100mg
  9. Bicalutamide, an obscure AA which does not result in permanent infertility. Expensive, experimental, strong. Femgen approved. Average daily dose: 50mg. Typical range: 25-75mg.
  10. Finasteride, a relatively common AA which requires a more in-depth explanation. Finasteride halts the conversion of Testosterone to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is a more potent Testosterone. Taking Finasteride will not make you sterile, but will only slow the masculine aging process due to the remaining presence of testosterone. Take Finasteride if you want a mild HRT. Average daily dose: 5mg. Typical range: 1-5mg.
  11.
  12.
  13. There are three modes of hormone replacement therapy (HRT): Estrogen, SERM, and Androgen Blockade.
  14.
  15.
  16. Estrogen: Note that you will grow breasts (ymmv) and likely become permanently sterile within 2 years.
  17. On average, take 4mg of Estradiol (hemihydrate > valerate) along with your anti-androgen. For results, see: http://i.imgur.com/UhB4Ybz.png
  18.
  19. SERMs: Note that few people take these, but no complications have been reported ITT.
  20. Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators do not cause breast growth, and will (usually) remove breasts after prolonged dosage (6+ months). Take with any anti-androgen. Femgen's guide to SERMs: http://i.imgur.com/6zKDGHC.png
  21. The chemicals in order of desirability: Raloxifene (R) > Tamoxifen (T) >> Clomifene (C)
  22. Average daily doses: R: 60mg, T: 20mg, C: 50mg. Ranges: unknown
  23.
  24. Androgen Blockade: Also known as Androgen Deprivation Therapy, is commonly used to treat prostate cancer. This should only be done under the specific direction of an endocrinologist and stops the masculine aging process.
