I always thought of programming as my escape from real life. It was a place where I was in control and what I created came to life. I first started programming when I was in my teen years trying to pass high school and at the time the only things I was programming were Minecraft mods. I felt like I had the ability to create something from nothing. Then I decided to study programming for a career yet I had no idea the impact it would have on my life. It showed me a lot about who and what I am and my ability to understand things that no one else did.

I’ve always dreamed of creating the next big thing in programming. I guess everyone has that dream in their field, but for me it’s not a point of pride but rather showing myself that I am able to create something new and innovative. I have never been the creative type and programming gave me a logical option for creation. My goal is to always try to learn and progress my skills in programming. I have always helped other people with their programming problems because it tested my knowledge and skill in programming. I would never be satisfied until it worked the way I had it working in my head and as I started to learn multiple languages and concepts it became easier for me to reach it.

I will always strive to improve my programming skill and try to be better.
