No Origin Story
Haraway explains that the cyborg is a post-gender creature that has no “origin story.” An “origin story” extends all the way back to the mother’s womb and it has to do with ”the task of individual development and of history” (192).

“The cyborg skips the step of original unity, of identification with nature in the Western sense” (192).
