  53. The Story of Fortune
  54. The Secret Art of Daoist Magic
  55. Crafting Curses
  56. 3 Internal-External Technique
  57. This creates a Curse from someone’s Passion.
  58. 1 Yin-Yang Technique
  59. This uses a Curse to create an Influence.
  60. 1 Quick Work
  61. You can use your Secret Art as a combat technique directly applied in combat.
  62. Extraordinary Daoist Techniques
  63. 4 Six-Devil Curse Spell
  64. When you force a Rippling roll with a Learning-based Secret Arts attack, you can spend Chi to add a Damage modifier of +5 per 1 Chi spent.
  65. 2 Hungry Curse Technique
  66. When someone fails an attack, Marvel, or comparable combat action against you, you can spend a point of Joss to make them suffer through Interesting Times.
  67. 4 Sheltering Water Intercession
  68. Make a Hard (30) Minor Learning Action on your Initiative roll. None may look upon you for your Rank Level in rounds. If someone beats the Learning roll with an Minor Awareness Action on their Initiative roll, they ignore the effect for the rest of its duration. Attacking someone you can’t look directly upon applies a -10 penalty to all attack or Marvel rolls except Area Attacks.
  69. Pokken Tournament
  70. 2 Status
  71. 5 Secret: Choose one of the following bonuses, dependant on your weapon of choice. You may re-buy this technique to change which bonus you receive.
  72. -If you fight with a regular non-unarmed weapon, you may pick two of the following bonuses.
  73. -You receive a +5 loresheet bonus on Shock effects.
  74. -You receive a +5 loresheet bonus on Disrupt Marvels
  75.
  76. Shadow Tribe
  77. Destiny Cost: 3
  78. 1+ Status: You are a member of the Shadow Tribe. Though few in number, the presence of your kind is often felt far and wide in Ferrum - or perhaps it is that it is not felt, but their presence is expected. The reputation among the Shadow Tribe for secrecy and underhanded dealings are legendary; though this hardly means that they have inborn criminal tendencies. As one of the Shadow, you likely keep your friends close and your enemies closer - though it’s often hard for others to tell which category they belong to, and in many cases that’s probably how you like.
  79. 0 Bonus: You gain a one-time -2 destiny discount when purchasing the ??? Lore.
  80. 0-5 Disadvantage: Untrustworthy. The Shadow Tribe are considered shifty at best by many of the others. Normally, you can fairly easily allay the suspicions one might have of your allegiances; unless you take this lore, in which case those around you find you an inherently suspicious figure.
  81.
  82. The Banshee’s Eye
  83. Destiny Cost: 3
  84. Concept: A gang of ne'er do wells and mischievous miscreants who monopolize the nightlife of Two Rivers.
  85. 1+ Status: You are a member of the Banshee’s Eye. From low-level initiate to one of the boss’ close allies, you’re a known member of the gang, and the gang takes care of their own.
  86. 5 Disadvantage: Outlaw. You’ve done some shady stuff in the name of your group, and while that normally gets overlooked, if you take this disadvantage then some of your previous crimes may come back to bite you, having you pursued by lawmen, previous victims, or other forces.
  87.
  88. Howling Banshee
  89. Leader and Founder of the Banshee’s Eye, though much of what the gang is known for is little more than being rowdy and breaking the law “for s**ts and giggles”, mostly being light-criminal nuisances, Howling Banshee and her direct subordinates are often known for acts of grander theft than dine-and-dashing, gathering supplies for the operation of her gang, and not being afraid to harm those in her way.
  90.
  91. 5 Fortune: You are highly regarded by Howling Banshee, she has plans for your future.
  92. 0 Bonus: Being a protégée or romantic interest of Howling Banshee grants you Status 4 in the Banshee’s Eye, this is regarded as Status 2 in Pokken at large; yet this status is regarded as ‘infamous’. In certain situations, it may be more of a curse than a blessing.
  93. 0 Bonus: Being in the good graces of Howling Banshee grants you a +5 bonus to rolls of camaraderie, friendship, or the like toward members of the Banshee’s Eye as long as you act properly irreverent toward other authority. This is regarded as a bonus thr

  107. Chaotic Deflection Approach
  108. No-Pattern, No-Opening (4)
  109. The closer an opponent gets to the Chaotic Deflection Approach stylist, the more likely some or all of the fired projectiles will hit.
  110. • This style’s Strike bonus increases to +15 against opponents in the same Zone.
  111.
  112. Flood of Bouncing Razors (2)
  113. It takes concentration, but you introduce an extra bit of chaos into your own attacks. Your cloud of projectiles spreads out, making it almost impossible to dance around!
  114. • You may Flood a die on your attack. If you do, your opponents suffer a -5 penalty to Dodge your Strikes.
  115.
  116. Wall of Edges (5)
  117. You fire so many projectiles at your opponent that they serve not only an attack but as a shield.
  118. • This style’s Block bonus increases to +10.
  119.
  120. Cracking Spiderwebbing Glass (9)
  121. You have mastered the ultimate technique of the Chaotic Deflection Approach! Your attacks seem to float in midair, and all it takes is an extra weapon thrown at just the right time to cause untold destruction. Your weapons bounce and ricochet off each other, forming an additional unseen hazard your opponent can’t hope to foresee!
  122.
  123. • You may Flood dice as the basis of a Strike-based Shaping Wave made on your initiative. If it succeeds, it acts as an additional Strike-based attack made on your initiative against the opponent of your primary attack. Your opponent must defend against this technique with the same Defense roll as your primary attack. Internal Kung Fu that would be used to enhance an attack made by this Shaping Wave must be used at the same time the Shaping Wave is declared.

  126. Heaven’s Lightning
  127. 1: Yin and Yang Rotation
  128. Using fortified Chi as a grounded center, you cycle your inner power through stages of growth and recline. Do this quickly and you discharge sparks of power into all you touch.
  129. • You can use the Shock effect as a Minor Action on your attack with a +5 bonus.
  130.
  131. 2: Travelling the Instant Path
  132. Rather than creating lightning, you emulate it! You eliminate hesitation, moving naturally and immediately. This is the way of lightning.
  133. • You have a +10 bonus to your Speed.
  134.
  135. 3: Lightning Strike
  136. Your power tears through your hands with a thunderclap, making even a touch lethal.
  137. • You can use the Shock effect as a Minor Action on your attack with a +15 bonus. If it forces an immediate Rippling roll, the roll receives a +5 bonus.
  138.
  139. 4: Dragon Chi
  140. You have mastered your inner power, and purified it to the most potent combination of yin and yang. You can be said to be a supreme warrior, lord of the Earth and soldier of Heaven!
  141. • Round-long duration. You may spend one Chi per round to extend the technique’s duration another round; you must spend the Chi at the beginning of each new round.
  142. • When you Focus on Breath, it also improves the regeneration of Earth Chi.
  143. • When you use any technique that lets you use the Shock effect with a bonus, you can instead apply the bonus to one of the following: Speed, Footwork, Strike, Damage, Block, or Toughness.
