Regen chat

<TheMadman>30 Thinking up ideas to nerf regeneration with a blood altar a bit more(Since Dire has proved hunger isn't effective with that abomination he calls a blood altar).

18<Vindex> agreed, hunger is not an issue. I've been afking for a long time at the altar at 0 hunger without problems

18<Vindex> so basically if you have regen 2 or 3, your max hearts get lowered

18<Vindex> I'm thinking something drastical, like 4 hearts
20<TheMadman>30 I was thinking seven hearts for regen two, five for three, and three for four.
18<Vindex> this would severely limit knife self-sacrifice, as you would have to alternate between 1 and 4 hearts

20<TheMadman>30 Sigh... We need something that keeps regeneration viable, but hazardous.

20<TheMadman>30 Stand at the altar, pore out a few hearts whenever regen does it's job.

18<Vindex> Just cancel short term high regen
18<Vindex> I assume regen potions give you like 20 to 60 seconds

20<TheMadman>30 That would be an effect for regen three plus. We do have the regen ritual that can cast regen two, and the botania pendant isn't that bad.
