FoE RPG G0 - #030 Dream: An Offer

[19:44]<SpiritOfFate>	~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[19:45]<SpiritOfFate>	Sotho wakes up in the same hut at the zebra village. Alone. The faint light comes into the  hut
[19:46]?	Sotho looks around, focusing at the faint light. "Hello?"
[19:49]<SpiritOfFate>	His voice echoes out, not even the sounds of the forest can be heard. The light seems to come from the sky, but it looks strange, greener than it should
[19:50]?	Sotho starts to trot out, looking up to the sky and then around the village
[20:00]<SpiritOfFate>	A bright green aurora covers the starry night sky. The village is silent. All hut doors are covered by curtains, but the metal hall stays open. And most of all, the pallisade has been replaced by a collossal spiral shell
[20:02]?	Sotho looks over to the shell, confused about it's existance. He trots over to it, looking for an entrance.
[20:05]<SpiritOfFate>	There is no visible entrance, and the shell covers the top of it as well.
[20:06]<SpiritOfFate>	"What kind of people lock their own offspring like cattle? They should be free to realize their true potential."  You hear a zebra mare's voice by our side
[20:07]?	Sotho jumps a bit at the voice, startled as he looks to his side. "Those who wish to protect them from that which they fear."
[20:13]<SpiritOfFate>	There stands a tall zebra mare, dressed in a lavish ritual dress. She observes you with curiosity.
[20:13]?	Sotho tilts his head. "I am Sotho, what is it you are called?"
[20:17]<SpiritOfFate>	"I am called Verity." She bows. "I see you have a mark, but it is unlike all others." She glances to your chest.
[20:18]?	Sotho loosk to his chest in surprise. "M-mark?"
[20:19]<SpiritOfFate>	As Sotho looks down, one of his stripes seem to slither, and he realizes it's closer to the center of his chest than all others.
[20:20]?	Sotho is taken aback with surprise. He had a mark? But... when did that happen? "I.. I did not take this mark... voluntarially. At least I do not believe so."
[20:31]<SpiritOfFate>	She shakes her head. "It is bound to you. It's nothing like the genesis oath that binds the Nnoto. Yours is weak and twisted, but it reaches outwards."
[20:32]<Sotho>	"outwards?" He asks Verity. "And how do you know of my mark?"
[20:39]<SpiritOfFate>	"It tries to consume it all. The land and those around you. But it is too weak. The words are not enough. She smiles. "Rituals and oaths, to these eyes are rivers and chains and a whisper that never goes silent. You are distressed. Do you regret your fate?"
[20:41]<Sotho>	He looks at his mark and then back at her. "I... I do not." He says with a smile. "If this mark is trying to destroy what is around me, I should not let it." He looks around and then to the metal hall. "Are you a spirit Verity? Or something else?"
[20:47]<SpiritOfFate>	"I am a spirit, indeed."
[20:47]<Sotho>	"Of?" He wallks towards the hall. "I apologize if I sound rude at all."
[20:53]<SpiritOfFate>	"Why do you ask? Do you seek my protection?"
[20:53]<Sotho>	"I may in the future." He smiles softly.
[21:06]<SpiritOfFate>	She smiles, then turns away. "I could give you ways to free you, to seize the power of the wicked and to vanquish abominations, to take you where you  yearn to be...  but not as I am."
[21:07]<Sotho>	"How must you be for me to do this?" He stops infront of the metal hall
[21:09]<SpiritOfFate>	"Free." She says, vanishing. Inside the metal hall a large emerald glows in a marble pillar
[21:10]<Sotho>	He looks to the emerald. Nodding as he trots towards it. "She may not have said her powers, but I know she is powerful." Hes peaks to himself. "But should I trust her? She is here with the Nnoto after all."
[21:11]<SpiritOfFate>	The glow of the emerald reminds Sotho of Verity's green eyes.
[21:12]<Sotho>	"I..." He thinks on the matter. "I will free her."
