Meral

Meral is an assassin hailing from Earthrealm, who lived happily with adoptive parents until strange visions caused her to flee her home and fend for herself. She has an eerie resemblance to Jade; although, she knew not of the woman's existence until an encounter with Raiden. He initially believed Meral to be Jade, welcoming her with shock and joy, only to be attacked. This resulted in a skirmish in which Raiden lost, though he utilized only a fraction of his power. He then began to discuss Jade with Meral, explaining his confusion. The timing of Jade's death was almost in exact alignment with the timing of Meral's auditory and visual hallucinations of a woman who could have been her twin. Raiden then told Meral that, despite her murderous past, he knew that she was pure of heart and simply misguided. Unsure of how to assist Meral, Raiden told her that following her heart would guide her, and offered her a place among those fighting for Earthrealm's safety. She declined, believing the noble cause would impede her progress and cause stagnancy within her journey. She now wanders Earthrealm, searching for answers to this vague riddle.
