World War Burst S3 Part 3 Fear Mini

Jul 21 19:22:07 <Naida>	The sun has only just begun its ascent as the door to the Tub quietly opens and shuts. After shedding a few coats, Naida sighs, mixing and matching various articles of clothing to properly cover all of her skin. She pulls glove after glove out of the pockets of the coats, but somehow none of them manage to match. Resolving to figure it out later, the girl easily mistaken for a hobo throws a huge clump of coats into the corner.
Jul 21 19:22:07 <Naida>	 As to their origin, well...more than a few drunks and bar patrons around the city will be wondering where they've misplaced their belongings.
Jul 21 19:26:57 *	Rosalyne_Holst had left a for her early morning run. Maybe she slept bad that night or she didn't sleep at all since there were the remains of several candles near her bed. There weren't many people out at this time other than the occasional shopkeeper setting up shop for the inevitable morning rush. Rosalyne's run takes her to the docks and back several times.
Jul 21 19:36:38 <Naida>	Naida takes a seat at one of the many empty tables, fussing with the various straps and buttons of the patchwork menagerie. Unfortunately, it's not long before the inside of the coating has a nice coat of whatever the hell is seeping out of her skin, leaving the girl to shake herself back out of most of it with a few grunts of discomfort.
Jul 21 19:41:13 <Rosalyne_Holst>	Rosalyne eventually comes back to the Tub, sweating hard and out of breath.  Even through the blush from excercise and the gleam of sweat it is easily noticable that she has bags under her eyes.  She doesn't pay attention to Naida, confusing her for the pile of coats.  She grabs a glass and begins filling it with water.
Jul 21 19:45:31 <Naida>	Wearing naught but long underwear at this point, Naida tenses up as the door opens and Rosa comes panting in. Somehow tapping into chameleon powers, she simply watches her victim with a dreadful look on her face.

Jul 21 19:47:25 <Naida>	After waiting what must be at least two eternities, she clears her throat. "...hey."
Jul 21 19:49:56 <Rosalyne_Holst>	She begins drinking and finally notices Naida sitting there.  Immediately her hand starts shaking and she does her best to put the glass down before breaking it but not before spilling it everywhere.  Oh god Naida is between her and the door! How didnt she notice?  She starts slowly inching towards the staircase as she nervously answers, "H-hey."  Ever so slowly.
Jul 21 19:52:15 <Naida>	"...how have you been?" Small talk is fantastically awkward.
Jul 21 19:53:32 <Rosalyne_Holst>	"F-fine!" She says MUCH louder than she should, "I wasn't planning on hitting you again! Promise! I don't know what came over me!"
Jul 21 19:55:08 <Naida>	Naida's eyes fall to a clump of gloves on the table. "That bad, huh?"
Jul 21 19:58:30 *	Rosalyne_Holst gulps and takes a few steps back, ever so closer to the stairs and eventually freedom. "I don't know what you're talking about!" Her voice shakes a audibly, "Oh! I just noticed, I counted my laps wrong." She finally says before she begins to quickly climb the stairs.
Jul 21 20:00:12 <Naida>	"Hey, wait, no, please come back! I'm not going to hurt you!"
Jul 21 20:03:01 <Rosalyne_Holst>	"Haha who said anything about hurting me?" Rosalyne stops in her tracks just to say that, "I just forgot one or ten laps thats all! I need to finish them!" She quickly climbs the stairs and then proceeds to head to the other exit.
Jul 21 20:06:01 <Naida>	Beginning to rise from her seat to pursue, Naida wonders if she could catch up easily by simply stepping through the shadows. Which of course fills her with more feelings of guilt, leading her to slump back down in the chair, wiping at her eyes with one of the gloves.
Jul 21 20:12:25 <Rosalyne_Holst>	The door slams shut and with the sound of footsteps on the road Rosa leaves and...she doesn't come back. She must be in town somewhere avoiding Naida.   She can't do that forever, can she?  She's hasnt slept and she just ran god knows how much.  It's a miracle she is standing.
Jul 21 20:14:22 <Naida>	Naida pours herself a pint or three as she nervously awaits Rosa's return.
Jul 21 20:19:15 <Rosalyne_Holst>	About thrity minutes go by until there is a knock on the door.  One of the many upstanding men working on the docks is carrying her and says in Cimbrian, like ROsalyne and Naida always talk when they're alone, "She collapsed when we were loading up cargo.  She seemed alright so I decided to bring her here." The man would explain when Naida opened the door, preferably when fully clothed.
Jul 21 20:24:28 <Naida>	Long underwear is basically real clothing! It covers everything at least. She nods to the stranger as she slips two gloves on. She hesitantly asks the stranger to place her on one of the chairs, quickly ushering him back outside, deciding she should take this subtlety thing more seriously. Jul 21 20:24:28 <Naida>	ls up a chair, and simply stares at Rosa until she wakes up. How friendly!
Jul 21 20:28:08 <Rosalyne_Holst>	It isn't long before Rosalyne starts tossing and turning on her bed and drenching her sheets in sweat before she wakes up gasping in fear.  She looks left, then right and she sees Naida staring at her.  Naida is again (conveniently) standing in the way of the door.  Rosalyne scurries off her bed, falls on the floor and finds her way into a corner, staring, "W-wat do you want?"
Jul 21 20:28:48 <Naida>	With a sigh, Naida takes a stern voice. "Back in bed. Now."
Jul 21 20:31:40 *	Rosalyne_Holst gulps and keeps staring, "I already told you I won't punch you again! I'm sorry I punched you, don't send me there again. They know I'm food now and they'll eat me!"

Jul 21 20:44:11 *	Rosalyne_Holst flinches as Naida's hand gets close and hugs her pillos as har as she can...it seems to keep her shaking somewhat under control. "Complete and utter darkness. Then dots of light, hundreds, maybe thousands of them. All of them glowing, without me realizing what they really were until it was too late...eyes." Her grip on her pillow tightens. "I don't want to ever go there again,

Jul 21 20:50:27 <Naida>	Naida shushes Rosa in the most motherly way she can manage. "You won't ever go back there. I promise...oh, stay here." Naida runs off, but before Rosa has the opportunity to drag her body out of bed for another escape, Naida's returned with a thermometer she slips into Rosa's mouth with a little coaxing.
Jul 21 20:52:51 *	Rosalyne_Holst doesn't have time to protest either and she still has a look of terror on her face regardless though it's less extreme now that it's obvious that Naida isn't going to hurt her. With regards to her temperature, Rosalyne seems to have a slight feveer.

But that's not all...Henri has all kinds of fantastic alterations, yes? And the excitable one has the parts of a cat? I apparently have a magical scar myself now..." She slides off the glove, a thin trail of a watery slime. "It is...absolutely disgusting."
Jul 21 21:24:36 <Rosalyne_Holst>	"Oh...." She says, "I...don't have anything, right?" though it is clear it was APPARENTLY an accident.  It still takes a good amount of effort to not jum pout of the bed and start running. She tries to get on the edge of the bad away from Naida though.
Jul 21 21:28:28 <Naida>	"Well, I don't see any antlers at least," she teases. Noticing the slight movements, even her body droops with her mood. "Please, you don't need to run. Just...just try to get some sleep."

Jul 21 21:41:35 <Naida>	"But you're not there anymore. You're here. And you'll stay here." She regards the floor, seemingly trying to convince herself of this more than Rosa.
Jul 21 21:45:04 *	Rosalyne_Holst sighs, "It's not that easy, I don't think I'll ever get over it, maybe." She turns on her bed and says, "Maybe it'll just be today and tomorrow. I don't fucking know."
