  3. To tell the truth, I haven’t worked for an timed rate in years. I much prefer to work on a fixed-price, fixed-scope contract. I find it gives me more freedom to do the best job I can, and it gives my clients peace-of-mind to know that a project will not overshoot its budget. Your estimate of 3 weeks, multiplied by a weekly rate of $1,600 comes to $4,800 for this work. If I can work from my own space, I will drop the price to $4000. If we are able to agree on a fixed-price contract, then I would be available for status-updates in-person up to 3 times per week. What do you think?
