  3. Just thought I'd let you know I have made a script for sending datasets incrementally to a USB backup (or other) drive for freeNAS (and freebsd). I use it to do a backup every week and take the drive to work for "offsite"

  7. its not a feature in freeNAS (you cant select individual datasets) and as there are no real easy ways i could find, I took a few forum posts, a little love, and a sprinkle of zfs magic and threw them together in a script.

  9. I also create a runid so it can be tracked in my FreeNAS app for Splunk, but may be useful for others to join events together on too.
