<b>PERHAPS IT'S HIS INNOCENT FACE</b> that's allowed him to get away with so much, or perhaps it's his talent for running away, but whatever the reason, Lewis seems to get out of almost everything. Or, he did. His mischievous grin whenever he got out of anything has faded, his talent for running away more useful than ever, and his apparent innocence doesn't make him any less of a target. Lewis Wright was not brought up to survive an army of vampires, he was brought up to con people out of their money. And con artist doesn't easily translate to survivor.

<b>WHEN LEWIS WAS BORN,</b> his father was already running a highly successful and lucrative business. But his family were greedy &ndash; they always wanted more. And they always got more. As soon as he finished primary school, Lewis set himself up as a 'respectable insurance business' and made almost two hundred dollars before the police caught on.
Then came the vampire invasion. His sisters and mother turned, and he and his brothers were taken as feeders. His father disappeared into the wilderness, and Lewis assumes that he's dead by now. If not, well there's nothing he can do about it.
