- >Be Anon.
- >Be 18
- >You look out the window of the bus.
- >Hard to keep your focus on the outside as the suspension of this bus is all sorts of fucked up
- >You don't know why your parents sent you away for your last year in high school
- >You really don't care either way, it's not like they really took care of you as well as they should have.
- >Looking past the fields of grass, you see the basic outline of a small town.
- >Great. It's a dump.
- >With a small sigh you take interest in the book you brought
- >Not long after, the bus turns, throwing you off balance and into the side with enough force to drop said book
- >It comes to a hissing stop and opens it's door with a ding.
- >Well, looks like this is where your new life begins
- >You pick up your book and place it into your backpack
- >stepping off the bus, you notice that the station is completely deserted
- "What did I expect?"
- >Hanging one strap of the bag over your shoulder, you take out a piece of crumpled paper with the open hand
- "Cookie Crumb Lane huh?"
- >You shrug at the street name written on the paper and stare at the street sign above you
- >Well you tried to at least before a blur of white and pink bombard you
- >"PINKIE!" The white figure yelled
- >"I DIDN'T MEAN IT!" Yelled the other pink figure
- >You bring yourself to your feet as the pink figure cowered behind you
- >The pale girl walked up to you and gave you a death stare
- >"Sir, please let me pass so that I may..." The girl's pale, slender digits went through her purple hair "Talk. To her."
- >On the one hand, you know this pink chick is gonna get whooped.
- >On the other, you have your phone
- >This is gonna be good
- >Without saying anything but putting on a shit eating grin, you side step from in between the two friends and pull up your phone
- >Without hesitation the purple haired girl took her hand and used two fingers to pinch the others ear
- >"Ow Ow owchy!" The pink girl yelled as she danced in place
- >"That's the price we have to pay, especially after you RUINED ONE OF MY NEWEST DRESSES!"
- >"I didn't know Rarity! Who would have thought that a water balloon would have that kind of effec-"
- >She was cut short as Rarity pulled her ear harder, nearly bringing her off the ground
- >"OWIE! OKAY IM SORRY! I'LL PAY I'LL PAY!" Pinkie yelled as she struggled to break free from the others grasp.
- >You stifle a laugh as you watch the whole scene unfold >You compose yourself as you put away your phone
- >These girls are actually pretty cute.
- >Crazy, but cute
- >Stepping in between the two, you wave your hand dismissively
- >"Just what do you think you're doing?" Rarity asked, crossing her arms, tongue in cheek
- >"Saving me, that's what!" Pinkie exclaimed as she flew into your body
- >You managed to maintain your footing as she held on tight, arms wrapped around your waist
- >This is a new experience
- >With a slightly nervous chuckle, you unhook her arms and step back
- "Well, I just wondered if I could ask one of you-"
- >"To a date?! Of course I'll say yes to the hero who saved me!" Pinkie interjected, batting her eyes at you
- >You give another nervous chuckle
- "That wasn't quite what I was going to ask. I was going to ask if one of you could help me find Cookie Crumb Lane. That's where my new home is and I don't know the town very well."
- >Uncrossing her arms, Rarity fixed her hair and unkrinkled her dress.
- >"Well Darling, if you must insist, I will help you. Only because it's on our way to where we're going."
- >You give a nod
- >"By the way, what is your name?" She asked
- >"Yeah yeah! What's my hunk of a heros name?"
- "Anon. Anon Y. Mous. Pleasure to meet you both. Pinkie and Rarity right?"
- >"I guess our yelling gave it away then?"
- >You respond with only a nod before following her, and Pinkie hanging off your arm>You fiddle with your thumbs and look at the girl hanging off your arm
- >She gives you a smile and you look away, flustered and flushed red
- >An hour into your new life, and you already have a girl latched onto you
- >"She seems to have gathered a liking towards you Anon" Rarity teased
- >"Nonny~" Pinkie said, before rubbing her head against your forearm.
- >You couldn't say much except for a mumble here and there
- >After what seemed like a bunch of cringe worthy eternities, you arrive in front of your street
- >"Here it is, Cookie Crumb Lane. I hope you do get settled in darling" Rarity says with a smile "C'mon Pinkie, we have to go now"
- >"But I don't wanna leave Nonny" Pinkie said with a pout
- >You look at Pinkie and gently remove her arms from yours
- >"N-nonny?" She said quietly, hanging her head
- "Hey, it's not that I would mind having you over, it's just that..."
- >well what can you say?
- >You've never had to invite a girl to your place before
- >1. Because you never tried
- >2. Because no one has ever asked
- >You really don't know how to approach this sort of thing.
- >"What?" She asks, her eyes staring at yours
- >C'mon Romeo, think of something
- "It's just that I have no idea how big my new home is, and if there'll be enough space"
- >Smooth
- "But if you wanna hang out sometime, then I'll give you my number, how's that?"
- >With a squeezes she reached into her...Bra?
- >Yes her bra and pulled out her cell phone.
- >You quickly insert your number into her phone and give it back
- >As you peek to see what she names you, it's obvious that she enjoys having it
- >As you began to take a step in the opposite direction, she wrapped her arms around you once more and pulled you into a hug
- >Not knowing what to do, you flush beet red and boop her nose
- >Quickly you sprint out of there and head off searching for your new home
- >And there left standing was a loves truck Pinkie
- >Rarity stood on the sidelines, a small gap in her mouth as she shook her head out of confusion
- >"Why didn't he ask for my number...?" She asked herself
- >You walk down the street, as sprinting isn't really your forte.
- "Okay, 108 108 108..."
- >You repeated the number to yourself as you darted your eyes back and forth
- >Not here.
- >Not here.
- >NOT HERE?!
- >You yelled internally as you see that the space where your "house" is suppose to be in is just an empty alleyway
- >You set your pack aside and sit with your back to the side of the alley.
- >You shake yourself out of the funk and get back on your feet
- >You walk into the nearest shop, a sports shop
- >You search around for another person, hopefully someone knows where 108 is
- >You see the shop completely deserted
- >Mostly
- >The only person there is a girl with rainbow colored hair
- >You haven't talked to her at all, but she seems like a cunt
- >You walk up to her as she rested on one arm, reading what seems to be a soccer magazine
- >Her head tilted slightly and let her pink eyes rest on you
- >You could feel her judging you
- >"Ah. What do you want?" She said in a bored voice
- "Oh. Um, I'm new to this town-"
- >"That's nice"
- >You try your best not to let that bother you
- "And I was wondering if you knew where the house at 108 CCL is."
- >She flipped a page in her magazine before tapping her fingers on the register stand
- >"That's the ol' torn down place that was demolished about 2 years ago." She said before returning her gaze to the page
- "That can't be right, I have this paper and-"
- >"Hey, I told you what I know, can't say it was something you wanted to hear."
- "Ah, well thanks..."
- >You give a slight nod before leaving the store.
- >Hey, 4 hours in a new town, you have no had a girl crush in you, no cash, and no place to sleep.
- >You give a small sigh before turning back around and walk back into the store
- >The girl's head perked up and rested her eyes in you once more
- >"Did you forget something?" She asked, noticing that it was only you
- >You shake your hair and scratch the back of your head
- "Hey uh...you go to Canterlot High?"
- >She lifted her head up once more and then gave a slight nod
- >"Yeah, why do you wanna know?"
- "Well, I just wanted to know because maybe you could show me where it was."
- >You give a slight smile and scratch your cheek
- >She rolled her eyes before looking back down at her magazine
- >"Fine, it's not like I have anything better to do anyways."
- >She moved aside her literature and propped her hands onto the desk.
- >In one fluid motion, she brought both legs over the desk and landed with no difficulty
- >if only you had a score card
- >The ding of the door snapped you out of that thought and forced you to run behind the blue girl
- >She may be a cunt, but she seems like she is actually trying to be nice
- >Or she's just skipping out on working
- >Whatever it is, she is gonna show you the way to school
- >As you look at her, she has a nice figure
- >Her low cut rainbow, presumably dyed, hair bobbed as she took her steps
- >Her hips swayed as well, and so did her toned glutes
- >Her legs and arms were also pretty muscular, more than yours embarrassedly enough
- >"Hey, you awake in there?" She asked as she waved her small hand in your face
- >You jerk back and nearly stumble over your feet
- "A-ah, yeah. Just thinking about my problem is all."
- >You give a small chuckle and scratch the back of your head
- "Oh, by the way, when you jumped over that stand, I thought it was pretty cool."
- >She rubbed the back of her neck as she looked away, a slight blush appearing on her cheek
- >"Yeah w-well, I'm suppose to be Rainbow Dash, the coolest girl in Canterlot" she beamed a wide smile as she said this
- "Cool and Athletic or am I wrong?"
- >She nods
- >You recall the magazine she had been reading
- "Soccer?"
- >"Hey, you're a regular Sherlock. Well you know my name, so what's yours?"
- "Anon. Anon Y Mous, pleased to meet ya."
- >"The school should be up here."
- > Sure enough there is was.
- > Shaped like a castle
- > Weird
- "Thank you Rainbow Dash."
- >You nod your head slightly
- >"Hey, I don't mind helping out. You seemed lost" she said before turning around
- >"I'll see ya around"
- >And with that she left
- >You make your way towards the gates
- >The closed gates
- >Gripping your hands around the bars of the gate you stare inside
- >That's right, today's Saturday
- >One bad thing after another.
- >That's how your life is after all
- >You let out a slightly audible sigh and press your balled hand against the gate
- >It let out a rusty creak
- >You look to your right and see no one down the street
- >On the other side stood a payphone
- >They still make those?
- >You rummage into your pockets for your phone
- >Maybe calling your parents will solve this whole thing out
- >In between the movement was the sound of spare change rustling
- >You press the button to check the time an-
- >Wait
- >Nothing lit up
- >Maybe you didn't press hard enough
- >You make sure to press your finger square on the button
- >Nothing
- >With another sigh you hang your head
- >Payphone, that's how we used to call
- >You very nearly sprint to the hooded standee and grab the phone off the receiver
- >Hearing the tone of confirmation, you proceed to insert the last of your money
- >Entering the number of your house, you hope they answer
- >*ring, ring, ring, ring, ring*
- "Answer already...."
- >You're hand is very nearly tangled in the extra cord of phone
- >*ring, ring, ri-* *click*
- >"Hey there" a voice answered on the other side
- "Dad! I need so-"
- >"We're not available at the moment, so please leave your number and name and we'll make sure to call you back" *Beep*
- >You remain silent before placing the phone back into its hanged position with a clack
- "You're never available ever since the beginning..."
- >You look at the fence right in front of you
- >Taking a few steps back, you run towards it and jump, or at least jump high enough to where you can get over it
- >Picking a spot under a tree, you place your bag, your only belongings, and lay your head on top of it
- >You are Anon, and this is your beginning of a new life, and a new experience. >The nights icy wind hit you directly, sending chills up your entire nervous system
- >There had to be a better spot on this school grounds
- >You quickly rise to your feet and grab your bag
- >You Let the moonlight guide you through the forest they had of a front lawn
- >You'd think with all these trees it would have protected you from the wind
- >Wait what's that over there?
- >A playground?
- >In a high school
- >Awesome
- >In the middle of the slides and swings was a small dome with only two entrances
- >Seems like a good place to sleep
- >You hurriedly walk over to the dome, hoping to finally get some sleep
- >Getting on your hands and knees, you crawl inside
- >Nice, spacious, and warm
- >Like an igloo
- >You lay your head on the bag and slowly drift off to sleep
- >Well, sort of
- >"What are you doing here?" Said a mysterious voice >"So?" Said the voice again
- >You quickly crawl your sorry ass to the nearest part of the dome
- "L-look, I just wanted a place to sleep okay? I have no money or anything that's worth of value. J-just leave me alone"
- >You hated how pathetic you sounded there
- >Hey either live or die, begging is nothing to be ashamed of at this point
- >"Well hey, if it's a place you need for sleeping, I don't mind sharing it!" It said laughing
- >As it stepped out of the shadows, you can see that it's actually a girl
- >A girl with mint colored skin, and hair that matched her skin color with gold streaks
- >Her eyes matched her streaks, and shined beautifully in the moonlight that shone through the crevices
- >She wore what seemed to be an old tee with a harp
- >A skirt ran down to knee length, showing her slender legs
- >Her smile could make people melt as well
- >"Hey, you there?" She asked
- >You snap out of it and chuckle nervously >"Well, what's your name?" She asked, sitting across from you
- "Anon. Anon Y Mous, nice to meet you-"
- >She let out a small giggle "Lyra, Lyra Heartstrings."
- >You smile and nod
- "What are you doing here at night?"
- >She doesn't seem like the type of person who should be walking out this late
- >"O-oh. Well I guess the same as you."
- >She voice lowered As she said this
- >Just like you...
- >Processing...Ding!
- >It hits you like a sack of hammers
- >She's homeless
- >H-how? >Lyra had her smile disappear from her face as she stared at the floor
- "Hey, you look tired, you should get some sleep."
- >"I'm an orphan..."
- >The direct tone in her voice threw you off a bit.
- "Y-you're don't have to expla-"
- >"My parents dies when I was 4. I was left at the orphanage at 5 after I was found living in the gutters." Lyra continued
- >She took a deep breath before continuing, wrapping her arms around her knees and resting her chin on them
- >"At 8 I ran away from the place. I was sick of their rules, their lifestyle, their "love"." She said with air quotes
- >Her eyes were fixed on the floor, not moving
- >"And I've been living day by day on trash and charity of others."
- >You look at this girl, fragile but tough as nails
- >You'd probably kill yourself if you'd have to live like that >The silence was the only thing that was in the air
- >You on one side of the dome and Lyra on the other
- >Her face was barely visible when she hung it low
- "Lyra..."
- >You said quietly
- >Her face lifted from the ground and her eyes were fixed on you
- >You meet her gaze and let your eyes rest on hers
- "I may not know what's it like to be an orphan, or the life you had at the orphanage, and I can't pretend to understand, but I know how you feel, to an extension."
- >You let out a small sigh and scratch your cheek with your finger
- "My parents were never the caring type. Sure, early life was okay, they looked after me, raised me, things a normal family would do. Then when I was 9, around your age back then...they....changed."
- >You shudder at the thoughts as they poured into your mind
- >in the time it took you to explain your situation, Lyra made her way over to you, now sitting by your side
- >"Its fine...don't need to explain yourself..." she said softly
- >You nod, grateful
- "Look, just....if you need someone to talk to..."
- >You drift off those words
- >She does nothing but rest her head against your arm
- >"Thank you..."
- >You both sit there, bathed in silence
- small sound made its way through the dome
- >You looked around, making sure that no one else came in
- >As you look at the entrances, a small tug at your side made you look down
- >The sound was coming from Lyra.
- >She was snoring as she clung to your arm
- >So she fell asleep, that's good
- >You let out a yawn as she did
- >Laying your head on hers, you close your eyes and doze off
- >"Anon, wake up"
- >You grumble and rub both your eyes
- >Or at least try to because of some extra weight on her
- >With eyes half shut, you see Lyra's for and her arms still wrapped around yours
- >The days flew past, and you gained some knowledge about the town as well
- >Places where No one else knew
- >Thanks to Lyra
- >Monday came by fast, and with it, the first day of school
- >Everything looked like the place was getting ready to begin filming a high school Musical
- >Jocks over here, vanity queens over there, nerds somewhere else.
- >You know that you didn't fit any one of those, but where did you fit?
- >"Anon we should really go inside" Lyra said snapping you out of your inner workings
- >You looked at her, and noticed she had a worried expression plastered on her face
- >You nod and begin walking to the steps
- >Everyone around you began to chatter amongst themselves, and stared directly at you two
- >Something caught your ears as you reached the front doors
- >"Looks like that rat caught a gutter baby like her!"
- >"I always knew she was easy."
- >"What's he doing with her? Doesn't he know what she is?"
- >Lyra grabbed you by the arm and tugged at you, dragging you inside
- >You decided not to ask her about
- >You knew how it felt to be bullied, and how it felt being asked and pestered about it
- >She continued her tugging until she stopped at the principals office
- >She didn't say much as she sat on the nearest bench and let you on your own
- >You take a deep breath and walk inside the room
- >"yes?" Said a soft voice
- >The chair in front of you turned around, revealing a woman with Pink, Lavander, and Turquoise hair.
- >Her eyes hid behind glasses
- >"Ah, I've never seen you before." She said as she slowly rose to her feet
- >She wore a jumpsuit and if showed off her curves perfectly
- >"Is there something you needed?""Well miss, I've come to ask you if you've heard about a transfer."
- >"Ah yes! Are you Anon Mous then?" She asked, looking through some files in her left drawer
- "Yes, that's correct. But there was some problem."
- >"Hmm?"
- "Well, there was something with my housing agreement. It doesn't seem to be there anymore. I had to spend my last two nights in that little dome down by the playground. Same situation with another student. Lyra Heartstrings. I wanted to ask if we could have a space for us to stay at. Anywhere in this school could work."
- >She leaned back into her chair and made it squeak
- >"I suppose we could arrange something, I'm terribly sorry for that."
- >That went well, but it can't be this smooth
- >"You have one condition though Mr. Mous."
- >There it is
- >"You have to stay a bit longer after each class to help the teachers and tutor some students, okay?"
- >You have no choice but to nod
- "Thank you ms."
- >"Oh my, that's right. My name is Celestia. Principal Celestia."
- "Thank you. I think I've waster enough of your time. Have a great day."
- >You walk out of the office and see that Lyra isn't there anymore.
- >The bell begins to ring and signal to go to class
- >You'll meet with Lyra back in the dome after school, for now it's time to Lear about what exactly?
- >You take out a piece of paper from your pocket and look at it
- >History
- >Well, life can't be all glamorous
- >Fuck history
- >You trudgenly make your way to the history classroom and are instantly greeted by a "Well hello! How are you?"
- >The teacher stood at the desk as she was speaking about the declaration of independent lap dances or something like that
- >"Anon Y Mous is what I guess you're called?"
- >You nod as she pointed out your seat, behind a girl with purple and magenta hair
- >She smiled at you as you sat down and you responded with the same
- >All right, time to-
- >*Bing Bong Dong Wong*
- >You startle yourself out of slumber and wipe away the drool from your face
- >Did you just sleep through your first class?
- >You confirm this by the empty classroom around you
- >Well mostly empty
- >there she sat, the girl with purple hair
- >She turned to you and smiled
- >"You seemed to have dozed off Anon." She said with a slightly higher pitched voice then those who've you met
- >Maybe staying up that late with Lyra wasn't such a good idea
- >"Here." She said rummaging through her bag
- >"I'm sure you could use this right?"
- >As you flip through the book, you notice that's it's notes
