  1. >Be Anon.
  2. >Be 18
  3. >You look out the window of the bus.
  4. >Hard to keep your focus on the outside as the suspension of this bus is all sorts of fucked up
  5. >You don't know why your parents sent you away for your last year in high school
  6. >You really don't care either way, it's not like they really took care of you as well as they should have.
  7. >Looking past the fields of grass, you see the basic outline of a small town.
  8. >Great. It's a dump.
  9. >With a small sigh you take interest in the book you brought
  10. >Not long after, the bus turns, throwing you off balance and into the side with enough force to drop said book
  11. >It comes to a hissing stop and opens it's door with a ding.
  12. >Well, looks like this is where your new life begins
  13. >You pick up your book and place it into your backpack
  14. >stepping off the bus, you notice that the station is completely deserted
  15. "What did I expect?"
  16. >Hanging one strap of the bag over your shoulder, you take out a piece of crumpled paper with the open hand
  17. "Cookie Crumb Lane huh?"
  18. >You shrug at the street name written on the paper and stare at the street sign above you
  19. >Well you tried to at least before a blur of white and pink bombard you
  20. >"PINKIE!" The white figure yelled
  21. >"I DIDN'T MEAN IT!" Yelled the other pink figure
  22. >You bring yourself to your feet as the pink figure cowered behind you
  23. >The pale girl walked up to you and gave you a death stare
  24. >"Sir, please let me pass so that I may..." The girl's pale, slender digits went through her purple hair "Talk. To her."
  25. >On the one hand, you know this pink chick is gonna get whooped.
  26. >On the other, you have your phone
  27. >This is gonna be good
  28. >Without saying anything but putting on a shit eating grin, you side step from in between the two friends and pull up your phone
  29. >Without hesitation the purple haired girl took her hand and used two fingers to pinch the others ear
  30. >"Ow Ow owchy!" The pink girl yelled as she danced in place
  31. >"That's the price we have to pay, especially after you RUINED ONE OF MY NEWEST DRESSES!"
  32. >"I didn't know Rarity! Who would have thought that a water balloon would have that kind of effec-"
  33. >She was cut short as Rarity pulled her ear harder, nearly bringing her off the ground
  34. >"OWIE! OKAY IM SORRY! I'LL PAY I'LL PAY!" Pinkie yelled as she struggled to break free from the others grasp.
  35. >You stifle a laugh as you watch the whole scene unfold >You compose yourself as you put away your phone
  36. >These girls are actually pretty cute.
  37. >Crazy, but cute
  38. >Stepping in between the two, you wave your hand dismissively
  39. >"Just what do you think you're doing?" Rarity asked, crossing her arms, tongue in cheek
  40. >"Saving me, that's what!" Pinkie exclaimed as she flew into your body
  41. >You managed to maintain your footing as she held on tight, arms wrapped around your waist
  42. >This is a new experience
  43. >With a slightly nervous chuckle, you unhook her arms and step back
  44. "Well, I just wondered if I could ask one of you-"
  45. >"To a date?! Of course I'll say yes to the hero who saved me!" Pinkie interjected, batting her eyes at you
  46. >You give another nervous chuckle
  47. "That wasn't quite what I was going to ask. I was going to ask if one of you could help me find Cookie Crumb Lane. That's where my new home is and I don't know the town very well."
  48. >Uncrossing her arms, Rarity fixed her hair and unkrinkled her dress.
  49. >"Well Darling, if you must insist, I will help you. Only because it's on our way to where we're going."
  50. >You give a nod
  51. >"By the way, what is your name?" She asked
  52. >"Yeah yeah! What's my hunk of a heros name?"
  53. "Anon. Anon Y. Mous. Pleasure to meet you both. Pinkie and Rarity right?"
  54. >"I guess our yelling gave it away then?"
  55. >You respond with only a nod before following her, and Pinkie hanging off your arm>You fiddle with your thumbs and look at the girl hanging off your arm
  56. >She gives you a smile and you look away, flustered and flushed red
  57. >An hour into your new life, and you already have a girl latched onto you
  58. >"She seems to have gathered a liking towards you Anon" Rarity teased
  59. >"Nonny~" Pinkie said, before rubbing her head against your forearm.
  60. >You couldn't say much except for a mumble here and there
  61. >After what seemed like a bunch of cringe worthy eternities, you arrive in front of your street
  62. >"Here it is, Cookie Crumb Lane. I hope you do get settled in darling" Rarity says with a smile "C'mon Pinkie, we have to go now"
  63. >"But I don't wanna leave Nonny" Pinkie said with a pout
  64. >You look at Pinkie and gently remove her arms from yours
  65. >"N-nonny?" She said quietly, hanging her head
  66. "Hey, it's not that I would mind having you over, it's just that..."
  67. >well what can you say?
  68. >You've never had to invite a girl to your place before
  69. >1. Because you never tried
  70. >2. Because no one has ever asked
  71. >You really don't know how to approach this sort of thing.
  72. >"What?" She asks, her eyes staring at yours
  73. >C'mon Romeo, think of something
  74. "It's just that I have no idea how big my new home is, and if there'll be enough space"
  75. >Smooth
  76. "But if you wanna hang out sometime, then I'll give you my number, how's that?"
  77. >With a squeezes she reached into her...Bra?
  78. >Yes her bra and pulled out her cell phone.
  79. >You quickly insert your number into her phone and give it back
  80. >As you peek to see what she names you, it's obvious that she enjoys having it
  81. >As you began to take a step in the opposite direction, she wrapped her arms around you once more and pulled you into a hug
  82. >Not knowing what to do, you flush beet red and boop her nose
  83. >Quickly you sprint out of there and head off searching for your new home
  84. >And there left standing was a loves truck Pinkie
  85. >Rarity stood on the sidelines, a small gap in her mouth as she shook her head out of confusion
  86. >"Why didn't he ask for my number...?" She asked herself
  87.
  88. >You walk down the street, as sprinting isn't really your forte.
  89. "Okay, 108 108 108..."
  90. >You repeated the number to yourself as you darted your eyes back and forth
  91. >Not here.
  92. >Not here.
  93. >NOT HERE?!
  94. >You yelled internally as you see that the space where your "house" is suppose to be in is just an empty alleyway
  95. >You set your pack aside and sit with your back to the side of the alley.
  96. >You shake yourself out of the funk and get back on your feet
  97. >You walk into the nearest shop, a sports shop
  98. >You search around for another person, hopefully someone knows where 108 is
  99. >You see the shop completely deserted
  100. >Mostly
  101. >The only person there is a girl with rainbow colored hair
  102. >You haven't talked to her at all, but she seems like a cunt
  103. >You walk up to her as she rested on one arm, reading what seems to be a soccer magazine
  104. >Her head tilted slightly and let her pink eyes rest on you
  105. >You could feel her judging you
  106. >"Ah. What do you want?" She said in a bored voice
  107. "Oh. Um, I'm new to this town-"
  108. >"That's nice"
  109. >You try your best not to let that bother you
  110. "And I was wondering if you knew where the house at 108 CCL is."
  111. >She flipped a page in her magazine before tapping her fingers on the register stand
  112. >"That's the ol' torn down place that was demolished about 2 years ago." She said before returning her gaze to the page
  113. "That can't be right, I have this paper and-"
  114. >"Hey, I told you what I know, can't say it was something you wanted to hear."
  115. "Ah, well thanks..."
  116. >You give a slight nod before leaving the store.
  117. >Hey, 4 hours in a new town, you have no had a girl crush in you, no cash, and no place to sleep.
  118.
  119. >You give a small sigh before turning back around and walk back into the store
  120. >The girl's head perked up and rested her eyes in you once more
  121. >"Did you forget something?" She asked, noticing that it was only you
  122. >You shake your hair and scratch the back of your head
  123. "Hey uh...you go to Canterlot High?"
  124. >She lifted her head up once more and then gave a slight nod
  125. >"Yeah, why do you wanna know?"
  126. "Well, I just wanted to know because maybe you could show me where it was."
  127. >You give a slight smile and scratch your cheek
  128. >She rolled her eyes before looking back down at her magazine
  129. >"Fine, it's not like I have anything better to do anyways."
  130. >She moved aside her literature and propped her hands onto the desk.
  131. >In one fluid motion, she brought both legs over the desk and landed with no difficulty
  132. >if only you had a score card
  133. >The ding of the door snapped you out of that thought and forced you to run behind the blue girl
  134. >She may be a cunt, but she seems like she is actually trying to be nice
  135. >Or she's just skipping out on working
  136. >Whatever it is, she is gonna show you the way to school
  137. >As you look at her, she has a nice figure
  138. >Her low cut rainbow, presumably dyed, hair bobbed as she took her steps
  139. >Her hips swayed as well, and so did her toned glutes
  140. >Her legs and arms were also pretty muscular, more than yours embarrassedly enough
  141. >"Hey, you awake in there?" She asked as she waved her small hand in your face
  142. >You jerk back and nearly stumble over your feet
  143. "A-ah, yeah. Just thinking about my problem is all."
  144. >You give a small chuckle and scratch the back of your head
  145. "Oh, by the way, when you jumped over that stand, I thought it was pretty cool."
  146. >She rubbed the back of her neck as she looked away, a slight blush appearing on her cheek
  147. >"Yeah w-well, I'm suppose to be Rainbow Dash, the coolest girl in Canterlot" she beamed a wide smile as she said this
  148. "Cool and Athletic or am I wrong?"
  149. >She nods
  150. >You recall the magazine she had been reading
  151. "Soccer?"
  152. >"Hey, you're a regular Sherlock. Well you know my name, so what's yours?"
  153. "Anon. Anon Y Mous, pleased to meet ya."
  154. >"The school should be up here."
  155. > Sure enough there is was.
  156. > Shaped like a castle
  157. > Weird
  158. "Thank you Rainbow Dash."
  159. >You nod your head slightly
  160. >"Hey, I don't mind helping out. You seemed lost" she said before turning around
  161. >"I'll see ya around"
  162. >And with that she left
  163. >You make your way towards the gates
  164. >The closed gates
  165. >Gripping your hands around the bars of the gate you stare inside
  166. >That's right, today's Saturday
  167. >One bad thing after another.
  168. >That's how your life is after all
  169. >You let out a slightly audible sigh and press your balled hand against the gate
  170. >It let out a rusty creak
  171. >You look to your right and see no one down the street
  172. >On the other side stood a payphone
  173. >They still make those?
  174. >You rummage into your pockets for your phone
  175. >Maybe calling your parents will solve this whole thing out
  176. >In between the movement was the sound of spare change rustling
  177. >You press the button to check the time an-
  178. >Wait
  179. >Nothing lit up
  180. >Maybe you didn't press hard enough
  181. >You make sure to press your finger square on the button
  182. >Nothing
  183. >With another sigh you hang your head
  184. >Payphone, that's how we used to call
  185. >You very nearly sprint to the hooded standee and grab the phone off the receiver
  186. >Hearing the tone of confirmation, you proceed to insert the last of your money
  187. >Entering the number of your house, you hope they answer
  188. >*ring, ring, ring, ring, ring*
  189. "Answer already...."
  190. >You're hand is very nearly tangled in the extra cord of phone
  191. >*ring, ring, ri-* *click*
  192. >"Hey there" a voice answered on the other side
  193. "Dad! I need so-"
  194. >"We're not available at the moment, so please leave your number and name and we'll make sure to call you back" *Beep*
  195. >You remain silent before placing the phone back into its hanged position with a clack
  196. "You're never available ever since the beginning..."
  197. >You look at the fence right in front of you
  198. >Taking a few steps back, you run towards it and jump, or at least jump high enough to where you can get over it
  199. >Picking a spot under a tree, you place your bag, your only belongings, and lay your head on top of it
  200. >You are Anon, and this is your beginning of a new life, and a new experience. >The nights icy wind hit you directly, sending chills up your entire nervous system
  201. >There had to be a better spot on this school grounds
  202. >You quickly rise to your feet and grab your bag
  203. >You Let the moonlight guide you through the forest they had of a front lawn
  204. >You'd think with all these trees it would have protected you from the wind
  205. >Wait what's that over there?
  206. >A playground?
  207. >In a high school
  208. >Awesome
  209. >In the middle of the slides and swings was a small dome with only two entrances
  210. >Seems like a good place to sleep
  211. >You hurriedly walk over to the dome, hoping to finally get some sleep
  212. >Getting on your hands and knees, you crawl inside
  213. >Nice, spacious, and warm
  214. >Like an igloo
  215. >You lay your head on the bag and slowly drift off to sleep
  216. >Well, sort of
  217. >"What are you doing here?" Said a mysterious voice >"So?" Said the voice again
  218. >You quickly crawl your sorry ass to the nearest part of the dome
  219. "L-look, I just wanted a place to sleep okay? I have no money or anything that's worth of value. J-just leave me alone"
  220. >You hated how pathetic you sounded there
  221. >Hey either live or die, begging is nothing to be ashamed of at this point
  222. >"Well hey, if it's a place you need for sleeping, I don't mind sharing it!" It said laughing
  223. >As it stepped out of the shadows, you can see that it's actually a girl
  224. >A girl with mint colored skin, and hair that matched her skin color with gold streaks
  225. >Her eyes matched her streaks, and shined beautifully in the moonlight that shone through the crevices
  226. >She wore what seemed to be an old tee with a harp
  227. >A skirt ran down to knee length, showing her slender legs
  228. >Her smile could make people melt as well
  229. >"Hey, you there?" She asked
  230. >You snap out of it and chuckle nervously >"Well, what's your name?" She asked, sitting across from you
  231. "Anon. Anon Y Mous, nice to meet you-"
  232. >She let out a small giggle "Lyra, Lyra Heartstrings."
  233. >You smile and nod
  234. "What are you doing here at night?"
  235. >She doesn't seem like the type of person who should be walking out this late
  236. >"O-oh. Well I guess the same as you."
  237. >She voice lowered As she said this
  238. >Just like you...
  239. >Processing...Ding!
  240. >It hits you like a sack of hammers
  241. >She's homeless
  242. >H-how? >Lyra had her smile disappear from her face as she stared at the floor
  243. "Hey, you look tired, you should get some sleep."
  244. >"I'm an orphan..."
  245. >The direct tone in her voice threw you off a bit.
  246. "Y-you're don't have to expla-"
  247. >"My parents dies when I was 4. I was left at the orphanage at 5 after I was found living in the gutters." Lyra continued
  248. >She took a deep breath before continuing, wrapping her arms around her knees and resting her chin on them
  249. >"At 8 I ran away from the place. I was sick of their rules, their lifestyle, their "love"." She said with air quotes
  250. >Her eyes were fixed on the floor, not moving
  251. >"And I've been living day by day on trash and charity of others."
  252. >You look at this girl, fragile but tough as nails
  253. >You'd probably kill yourself if you'd have to live like that >The silence was the only thing that was in the air
  254. >You on one side of the dome and Lyra on the other
  255. >Her face was barely visible when she hung it low
  256. "Lyra..."
  257. >You said quietly
  258. >Her face lifted from the ground and her eyes were fixed on you
  259. >You meet her gaze and let your eyes rest on hers
  260. "I may not know what's it like to be an orphan, or the life you had at the orphanage, and I can't pretend to understand, but I know how you feel, to an extension."
  261. >You let out a small sigh and scratch your cheek with your finger
  262. "My parents were never the caring type. Sure, early life was okay, they looked after me, raised me, things a normal family would do. Then when I was 9, around your age back then...they....changed."
  263. >You shudder at the thoughts as they poured into your mind
  264. >in the time it took you to explain your situation, Lyra made her way over to you, now sitting by your side
  265. >"Its fine...don't need to explain yourself..." she said softly
  266. >You nod, grateful
  267. "Look, just....if you need someone to talk to..."
  268. >You drift off those words
  269. >She does nothing but rest her head against your arm
  270. >"Thank you..."
  271. >You both sit there, bathed in silence
  272. small sound made its way through the dome
  273. >You looked around, making sure that no one else came in
  274. >As you look at the entrances, a small tug at your side made you look down
  275. >The sound was coming from Lyra.
  276. >She was snoring as she clung to your arm
  277. >So she fell asleep, that's good
  278. >You let out a yawn as she did
  279. >Laying your head on hers, you close your eyes and doze off
  280.
  281. >"Anon, wake up"
  282. >You grumble and rub both your eyes
  283. >Or at least try to because of some extra weight on her
  284. >With eyes half shut, you see Lyra's for and her arms still wrapped around yours
  285. >The days flew past, and you gained some knowledge about the town as well
  286. >Places where No one else knew
  287. >Thanks to Lyra
  288. >Monday came by fast, and with it, the first day of school
  289. >Everything looked like the place was getting ready to begin filming a high school Musical
  290. >Jocks over here, vanity queens over there, nerds somewhere else.
  291. >You know that you didn't fit any one of those, but where did you fit?
  292. >"Anon we should really go inside" Lyra said snapping you out of your inner workings
  293. >You looked at her, and noticed she had a worried expression plastered on her face
  294. >You nod and begin walking to the steps
  295. >Everyone around you began to chatter amongst themselves, and stared directly at you two
  296. >Something caught your ears as you reached the front doors
  297. >"Looks like that rat caught a gutter baby like her!"
  298. >"I always knew she was easy."
  299. >"What's he doing with her? Doesn't he know what she is?"
  300. >Lyra grabbed you by the arm and tugged at you, dragging you inside
  301. >You decided not to ask her about
  302. >You knew how it felt to be bullied, and how it felt being asked and pestered about it
  303. >She continued her tugging until she stopped at the principals office
  304. >She didn't say much as she sat on the nearest bench and let you on your own
  305. >You take a deep breath and walk inside the room
  306. >"yes?" Said a soft voice
  307. >The chair in front of you turned around, revealing a woman with Pink, Lavander, and Turquoise hair.
  308. >Her eyes hid behind glasses
  309. >"Ah, I've never seen you before." She said as she slowly rose to her feet
  310. >She wore a jumpsuit and if showed off her curves perfectly
  311. >"Is there something you needed?""Well miss, I've come to ask you if you've heard about a transfer."
  312. >"Ah yes! Are you Anon Mous then?" She asked, looking through some files in her left drawer
  313. "Yes, that's correct. But there was some problem."
  314. >"Hmm?"
  315. "Well, there was something with my housing agreement. It doesn't seem to be there anymore. I had to spend my last two nights in that little dome down by the playground. Same situation with another student. Lyra Heartstrings. I wanted to ask if we could have a space for us to stay at. Anywhere in this school could work."
  316. >She leaned back into her chair and made it squeak
  317. >"I suppose we could arrange something, I'm terribly sorry for that."
  318. >That went well, but it can't be this smooth
  319. >"You have one condition though Mr. Mous."
  320. >There it is
  321. >"You have to stay a bit longer after each class to help the teachers and tutor some students, okay?"
  322. >You have no choice but to nod
  323. "Thank you ms."
  324. >"Oh my, that's right. My name is Celestia. Principal Celestia."
  325. "Thank you. I think I've waster enough of your time. Have a great day."
  326. >You walk out of the office and see that Lyra isn't there anymore.
  327. >The bell begins to ring and signal to go to class
  328. >You'll meet with Lyra back in the dome after school, for now it's time to Lear about what exactly?
  329. >You take out a piece of paper from your pocket and look at it
  330. >History
  331. >Well, life can't be all glamorous
  332. >Fuck history
  333. >You trudgenly make your way to the history classroom and are instantly greeted by a "Well hello! How are you?"
  334. >The teacher stood at the desk as she was speaking about the declaration of independent lap dances or something like that
  335. >"Anon Y Mous is what I guess you're called?"
  336. >You nod as she pointed out your seat, behind a girl with purple and magenta hair
  337. >She smiled at you as you sat down and you responded with the same
  338. >All right, time to-
  339. >*Bing Bong Dong Wong*
  340. >You startle yourself out of slumber and wipe away the drool from your face
  341. >Did you just sleep through your first class?
  342. >You confirm this by the empty classroom around you
  343. >Well mostly empty
  344. >there she sat, the girl with purple hair
  345. >She turned to you and smiled
  346. >"You seemed to have dozed off Anon." She said with a slightly higher pitched voice then those who've you met
  347. >Maybe staying up that late with Lyra wasn't such a good idea
  348. >"Here." She said rummaging through her bag
  349. >"I'm sure you could use this right?"
  350. >As you flip through the book, you notice that's it's notes
