Background Details:

Boris is the eldest child of the Strizhakov family, a noble family from the county of Zeleongorsk in Feodoska. Settled in long ago during the Khardic conquests of the region, the Khardic family has watched over their poor, remote lands and its only major town Gorysk, kings of their cold scrap of power, and subordinate only to the Grand Prince of the region, the Descra family. Still, being kings of snow, trees, and the scant fur trade that goes reported by the native Kos doesn't leave much for luxuries beyond hunting and riding, and the family had been thus far unable to improve their position. This changed when the spark of Warcaster talent manifested in a younger Boris. Seeing a chance for Boris to bring fame, glory, and respect to the family, he was initially tutored in his arcane talents by local Greylords before being enrolled in the Druzhina as he came of age. His first assignment after finishing his warcaster training: manning the garrison of Uldenfrost for the long winter to come. It's unclear if this was an assignment to build character or if he had wronged the person doing troop assignments, but it is clear that this is his duty, and he must fulfill it.

Boris is young and quite handsome, though he's somewhat ill of temper. His facial features are narrow and angular, and he has black hair and brown eyes. His face is clean-shaven, mostly due to his attempts to grow facial hair not coming in quite right.

Zoya is a large, strong bay horse, Her slightly shaggy coat is well-kept, and her eyes show steely, troublemaking intelligence.
