And so, another Shinki battle is about to begin! The crowd has all moved into their seats, and a number of them are holding up various signs, cheering for the Shinki. Some for Fuki, some for Serafina. There are even a few just for Fassad. Hey, he /is/ trying to work the crowd a lot in this tournament.

         As Fassad and his Shinki, Serafina, enter the arena, they both lift a hand. Trying to work the audience. To add to the show, Serafina is even holding a rose in her other arm, smiling. She's sitting on Fassad's shoulder.

         Fassad himself is also using his magic to improve their looks. There is a glow that looks almost /divine/ surrounding both of them, due to Fassad's Light Magic.

        Another Shinki battle, another melee type at her disposal. Fuki's sitting upon Kourin's shoulder, giving a wave to all of the ones cheering for her, a smile behind that fox mask of hers while Kourin is giving waves as well, a content look upon his visage... his jelly can bandolier is convinently missing two cans.

        Fuki hops upon the Battlefield table, making a small bow to everyone at the tournament today while Kourin moves towards Fassad, hand outstretched as if he wanted a handshake. A board is in his other hand with the words 'Good luck' upon it.

        "Hmm, a fencer, she'll be speedy. Glad I picked up another stock scythe on my way." Fuki mutters, the black armored Shinki moving to sit upon the table, her scythe and a variety of shuriken coming from the slipway onto the table before dissapearing once more. "I'm ready..."

         The Olbern leaps off of Fassad, transforming into battle mode. He scythe is in hand, and she floats midair, where the arena will form. She is giving Fuki a really bright and cheerful look.

         "Hey, listen, no hard feelings if I win or lose, alright? I'm gonna give it my all for my master, though! He's a hero! I have to impress him!"

Fuki activates the Visualizer. In a flare of light and color, it deploys the Battle Field:

SAKURA PEAKS
        A more air-combat oriented field. Barren stone peaks jut out from a floor of dense clouds. The mountains themselves are simple bare brown stone, shot through with cracks and crevasses that break up their otherwise simple triangular shapes. The central mountain peak is larger than the others, and home to the only vegitation visible in the field: A massive flowering cherry tree. Its roots wind through the mountain it calls home, and its branches stretch through the sky. Constantly shedding petals, it fills the air with a light dusting of pink snow that steadily disappears into the clouds below.


        Kourin takes the hand in his and shakes it firmly, nodding with a grin upon his face. Upon releasing the hand, he writes upon the board 'I wish your Shinki luck as well. Fuki's an amazing fighter and a strong Shinki in her own right. I just hope Serafina doesn't underestimate her." Upon looking back towards the visualizer table, he smirks...

        Fuki gives a firm nod towards the Olbern, her scythe in hand and thrusters engaged, floating a few inches off the battlefield floor. "Good luck. Master and this tournament mean a lot to me. I will not have you sully it with your false light, hero master or not. En garde!"

        The visualizer activates, the petals from the cherry blossom tree filling the air as the Sakura Peaks battlefield envelops the two Shinki. Fuki smirks behind that mask, she'll have the air advantage here. And as soon as the countdown ends...

        The words RIDE ON blaze through the sky and Fuki's on her way, bursting out of the cloud cover with scythe trailing behind. "I will ensure you are taken out today." she solemnly says, her voice echoing through that mask. A couple black feathers are let loose behind the Fubuki model as she makes a quick upward burst of motion, following along with an upswing of her scythe, hoping to catch the Olbern off guard.

        Scythes are unwieldy, proof as the sword gets past her speed and her scythe's hilt sparks with the blade sliding upon it, the sword digging into her armor and cutting into her side. Fuki's eyes cross as the scythe dissapears into her slipway and a pair of kama appear in her hands.

        Fuki jets back up into the sky and turns to face the Olbern, kama facing back as her black wings spread out... almost an angel of death if she had her scythe out. "Really now? False. I will win." Fuki dives down towards the Olbern, eyes closed for a moment as her stealth systems jet on and down into the cloud cover she goes and all falls silent.

        Half a minute later, Fuki jets back up and goes to assault the Olbern once more, the thrusters on maximum burn and the wings spread out for greater stability. She quickly turns her kama around, having the blades facing down and towards Serafina, she zips past, hoping to hook the Shinki upon her kama.

        Tch, she was prepared. This doesn't bode well for Fuki as the sword slash cuts into her right shoulder, a visible spark from the armor taking the brunt of the damage. A warning window pops up 'Right shoulder damaged'. Fuki glares at the Olbern, shaking her head. "Good, evil... human concepts and entirely false at times. I am in the Confederacy because Master is." a pause.. she shakes her head once more and the kama flash out of sight, a pair of kunai coming into view.

        "Your master must be in the Union then. He will make a fine target after the Tournament is over!" She launches one of the kunai, then the other and more come into view as the slipway flashes and refills her hands. She keeps launching one after another, filling the air with the black throwing blades.

        "Then may my 'evil' shadow your 'good'!" she gets back into flight and heads towards the Olbern, her scythe flashes right back into her hand. She's a bit a ways away to launch a melee attack though.

"You... knocked off my mask." she frowns upon this, her eyes glaring at the Olbern with a sad look upon it. "You... knocked my mask off my face."

        Fuki closes her eyes, gripping her scythe tight. She winces a bit as her right shoulder sparks from the earlier injury before she glares at Serafina with a malicious gaze. "I will spread your parts across the mountain face!" She flares her wings once more and turns her thrusters full on, moving to rush the fencer once more.

        Upon reaching the Olbern, Fuki does a quick and powerful downswing of her scythe, intent to take an arm off if not severly wound the shinki. "I will not have you insult me or my Master!"

        Fuki's slammed into the mountain after her successful strike, the flash of her slipway lets her scythe dissapear only to be replaced by something more... agile. She closes her eyes and winces from the pain as her wings are shattered from that. "Nnnngh! Justice is misguided!" she yells out, grabbing at the Shinki on her.

        That little agile weapon? Another Kunai. In such close melee range, Fuki shifts about inbetween the wall of the mountain and the Olbern upon her in an attempt to jam the weapon right into the Shinki's stomach. She doesn't wanna kill her... just... make a hole. "And I'll show you that this 'justice' can be mete by 'evil' too!"

        Nnngh! Attack was read and she was punished for it by being used as a springboard! Fuki groans a bit as she gathers herself, that kunai in hand once more. "I will give credit to you. You're a faster thinker than I gave initial thought to." she smiles slightly, a flash of slipway to pull out a reusable jelly can.. A quick drink before it flashes out once more.

        Outside the battlefield Kourin gives a light smile, writing upon the board once more. "Your shinki is doing well. I commend her. HOw long have you had her?"

        Back to the battlefield, Fuki braces herself upon the mountain and another flash of her slipway and the standard rifle comes out. "I detest this weapon... but.." she takes aim and a click of her finger she lets the lasers fly from the weapon, spewing forth ranged bolts of energy towards the Olbern, a smirk upon her face "But it feels so good to use!"

        Fuki smirks, watching lasers fly and hit. "Justice can't take a hit from a laser rifle." she scoffs, backing up a bit as she traces the shinki's flightpath with her eyes.. "Erratic path..." the laser rifle is stowed in her slipway and the scythe once more comes out.

        "Come on." she comments, bracing herself for the incoming shinki, her leg becoming skewered upon the sword, pinning her to the ground. A scream of pain erupts from Fuki, eyes closed as she tries to work through it. "Nnngh, my leg!"

        She holds her scythe with one hand and reaches out to grab Serafina with the other, if successful she moves to slam the shinki right into the mountain while she brings her scythe down upon that arm holding the buckler, wanting to sever it from the Shinki!

        Kourin nods. "None taken." is written upon the board. In his head though, he's shaking his head.

        "I've had enough of you, Serafina." she stumbles to get back upon her feet but thanks to her clunky and off rythmn movements, she avoids the most damaging slash and takes a good graze upon her cheek.

        Fuki freezes in place, reaching a hand up to run across the new wound upon her face. "You... cut me... on my face. No one.. has done that. NO one has had the permission to touch my face except Master. You MARRED my face with your brutality." Fuki's furious. The thrusters light up and send Fuki a bit away from the Fencer.


She twists herself a bit, bracing her scythe against her, holding it out some, point extended. She soon fires up once more and attempts to mimic the flight pattern of Serafina, this time, coming down with a brutal scythe swing from a diagonal way. THis one has some power behind it, an unrestrained power.

        So Fuki's a bit vain. Just a bit. The feel of her scythe severing the arm brings pleasure to her face only to be marred up again, cut up many times from those slashes to her face. She doesn't comment. She doesn't scream... a window with a big speaker on it and a red NO symbol is on... she muted herself... at least in present company. Outside, Kourin facepalms.

        Fuki's rage intensifies as she takes her scythe once more and kicks off the fencer, only to come right around with a spinning slash. She's wanting to finish off the Shinki!

        'Both shinki are being especially brutal, huh Fassad?' Kourin writes down, giving a sly look at him. 'Such beauty marred by such brutality.'.

        Fuki stands there. Chest peirced by the rapier-like sword. The mute symbol dissapears and Fuki lets out a loud scream of agonizing pain. She grabs onto the hilt of the sword, holding it tightly as she pulls herself closer...

        "Wonderful... battle here." she comments, "Wonderful assault. I knew I could bring you to my level. Enjoy it? Being so brutal like this. Like an 'evil' Shinki? Feels good, yes?" her scythe dissapears once more and only a single kama comes into view, Fuki's hand moving up towards the other Shinki's throat.

        "Reflect upon this. Know what justice is... and know what good and evil is. Maybe you'll stand more chance." With that, she reaches back with the kama and moves to dig it right into Serafina's back!

        Kourin nods a bit, pulling a jelly can off his bandolier and handing it over. No words or notes made though.

        Fuki smirks. "It's bloodlust the same, my dear Shinki.." she smirks, "End it, strike me down if it makes you feel better. I... enjoyed this."

        Fuki doesn't move, she gives Serafina this wicked grin as the arm slams right into her, striking her to the ground. Fuki doesn't respond after a while, the sword sticking up out of her torso, the shinki fell upon her back. It's not long after the battlefield dissipates, leaving the shinki whole again and that sword right next to Fuki.
