L: I have a problem: Recently my boyfriend sat at the PC and when I came into the room he quickly closed the browser. So I lured him out of the room and checked his browser history. It was porn! So disgusting — I never would have expected him doing that. What do you think? What shall I do?

R: Phew! Such a no-go! If you're asking me, there's something wrong with your entire relationship, if someone acts like this.

L: That's a kind of betrayal, isn't it?

R: Absolutely. If my partner would do that, I'd be absolutely furious!

L: Yes … I just don't get it. Why does someone act like this, though being in a happy relationship?

R: Well, to be honest, in a happy relationship there's no need to do so. There must be something terribly wrong if there's an urge for such a behaviour.

L: But what shall I do now?

R: Difficult. I think the best you can do is to talk with him openly about this horrible misconduct … and hope he accepts your apologies for prying into his privacy.
