2dos's Speedplans

May as well post my speedplans and goals for the rest of 2014 before AGDQ.

- DK64 Any%: A "good enough" time. I currently have a 36:55, but I feel like a sub 32 or 31 would be good enough for me. I've held off this category for far to long, and it's the only DK64 category I don't have a respectable time in. It's annoying to grind out DK Helm Early, but I need to do this.

UPDATE (12/15/14): Got a 32:19 after a handful of attempts lol. Could've been a 30:XX if I got the Factory B Locker clip in one try. Sub 30 definitely isn't out of the question, but I don't know if I want to grind out DK Helm Early for a long time. Think I might just sit on this time though, because everything else besides Helm Lobby ledgekick was good.

- Crazy Taxi: I can push Crazy Box lower, I may go for sub 15 minutes depending on how I'm feeling about my current PB (15:16), but I'd honestly be happy with a 15:00-15:10 range time. I also want to work on ILs; many Crazy Taxi WRs are held by Twin Galaxies users and have been standing for a LONG time, some of them almost 14 years old! I want to try to take the WRs of the ones with no public video so there's a public video for every single Crazy Taxi IL WR. I've also been pondering making some kind of central hub site for Crazy Taxi Speedruns and ILs, but I dunno if I can do this by myself...for now my Crazy Taxi PBs as well as WRs are located here: http://bombch.us/s43

UPDATE (12/15/14): Due to an exploit dubbed "High Score Skip," I found you could cut off another 40-45 seconds from Crazy Box. My current PB is 14:31, and I think I'm gonna stop at sub 14:30 so I can work on ILs.
UPDATE (12/28/14): Fixed some of my driving mechanics, and I can go lower now. Got a 14:20, but I think I can realistically cut off 10 more seconds. Regardless what happens, I'll probably be done with Crazy Box after AGDQ so I can move on to Crazy Taxi 2's Crazy Pyramid.

- Left 4 Dead 2: I've been working on the All Campaigns Easy category with Moogle, AlbinoAlbatross and Mr_Shasta (it is 4 player Co-op). We currently have a 3:58:27, but there is still a lot to work on here. We are looking into new skips every day.

UPDATE (12/15/14): Currently sitting at a 3:35:15, but could still be lower.

- For the moment, I'm done grinding out DK64 101% runs. I've got a sub 6:30:00 (6:29:43), my original goal, and I haven't gotten close to it for awhile. I will still run this occasionally, but not nearly the amount I have been.

Games I'll be working on after AGDQ:

- DK64 No Levels Early: I want a 2:32:XX, which would be a great time. I currently have a 2:34:32, which is a pretty decent time already.
- Pokemon Red/Blue Any% Glitchless: I want sub 2 hours. (currently have a 2:03). Not a fantastic time, but I want to say I have beaten the game under 2 hours.
- Billy Hatcher Any%: I want a sub 1:20:00 (currently have a 1:26:43), which still isn't a great time, but would be good enough for me.
- Crazy Taxi 2 Crazy Pyramid: After I'm done with Crazy Taxi 1.
- Shining Force Any% - Absolutely awful game to speedrun, but someone's gotta do it.

Even further into the future:
- Banjo Kazooie 100%: After I'm done with DK64
- A Hat in Time Any%/100%: This game isn't out yet and won't be anytime soon. I really enjoyed the demo, but until the final game comes out and I can say I really like the game, I can't say I'll actually run this.
- Splatoon Any%: This game looks extremely interesting, but once again, no promises unless I really like it.
