David Brock used to be a right-wing journalist who investigated Clintons and their scandals, like the infamous Troopergate. But in the late 1990s he had a sudden change of heart and aligned himself very closely to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

In 2004, with the help of John Podesta's Center for American Progress, he founded Media Matters for America, media watchdog group “dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.”

In 2010, Brock founded Super PAC American Bridge 21st Century, which is the opposition research hub of the Democrats. In late 2013 he founded another Super PAC, Correct the Record, to debunk lies about Democratic politicians, especially Hillary Clinton. In reality, it's an organization of paid pro-Hillary Internet trolls.

His organizations are located on the sixth floor of the Massachusetts Avenue 455 NW, Washington, D.C. Total of 14 organizations are sharing the office space; in many of them Brock is noted as a chairman or a board member. One of these organizations is Mary Pat Bonner's professional solicitor, the Bonner Group.

Here's where things get interesting as we're in the middle of a presidential campaign. In December 2015 Hillary Clinton's campaign committee Hillary for America illegally bought research from the American Bridge 21st Century, as Super PACs cannot engage in paid coordination with Political Campaigns.

Clinton's campaign is also openly coordinating with Correct the Record, which is possible due to loopholes in the law. Meanwhile Assistant Treasurer of CTR, Michelle Morgan, is also Custodian of Records for the American Bridge 21st Century. She and 7 other people were on payroll of both these organization, which leads to suspicion of illegal coordination between Hillary's campaign and the American Bridge 21st Century.

Moreover, the owner of the sixth floor of the Massachusetts Avenue 455 NW, Media Matters for America, was getting paid $297,479 in a rent for years 2012-2014 by the American Bridge 21st Century, but they never reported having any rental income in their IRS-990 form.

Also, aforementioned professional solicitor, the Bonner Group, which is fundraising for Brock's groups (over $25 million in 2014) is either improperly registered as a solicitor or unregistered at all in all states they raise funds in.

What is also important, the Bonner Group receives 12.5% commission every time one of the Brock's organizations gets money. This includes both when private people are making donations as well as situations when organizations transfer money between themselves. Every time money moves, the Bonner Group receives 12,5%.


As you can see there are many shady deals around David Brock and organizations on the sixth floor of the Massachusetts Avenue 455.

Therefore we call upon the Department of Justice to conduct a full audit of these organizations.
