  9. General Script, Player Commands, Admin Related Problems and Issues...

  11. Characters being deleted: Each player can have up to 3 different characters on your account. There are exploits that will cause the player's character to be deleted or corrupt the save system that the character doesn't existed. We have found 2 exploits that will cause this, how ever we only figured one of them since the second one was an one-time-event coincidence, but we assume it has to do with messing around with name changes and what-nots. One of these exploits to remove the player's character is for the player to:

  13. 1. Make sure they have at least one character created and should probably spawned with it at least once;
  14. 2. Create a new character in a free slot;
  15. 3. Immediately after creating the new character, delete the new character that has just been created;
  16. 4. After doing so, spawn with the previous character, mention in step one and when the spawn option is clicked, the character will be automatically removed and display a message that the character does not exist.

  18. This can be dangerous towards administrator-accounts. Once the player clicks 'Spawn Character' and tries to spawn,the character will automatically delete itself from the database and will say it does not exist.

  20. Leadership over a faction and a gang: An administrator is able to give leadership of a faction to a player, and at the same time he is able to give the same player leadership of a gang. There are separate communication commands, (/f) for factions and (/g) for gangs. How ever, the leader's commands such as (/invite) will interfere if the player is leading or is in both of them. This can be fixed easily by adding separate leadership commands or only allowing each player to join either a faction or a gang.

  22. Setting owner for a business: Using the (/editbusiness) command an admin can edit the owner. How ever, the business will only be affected and the owner will be set when the business is owned - if no one has purchase it, the admin won't be able to edit this option. Once the admin changes the owner of a business, they are able to change it to any name what so ever, doesn't have to be a player's name. After doing so, the player who owned the business, will no longer own it and will not have ownership of it. How ever, if that player had maximum of 3 businesses, the deleted business would still be registered as if the player owns it; which would not allow them to buy another business unless he has extra space or the business is deleted.

  24. Premium change skin for Bronze premium members: This is a minor error. If a Bronze premium member uses (/premium) and then selects the "Change Skin" option they will get an error displaying a message: "Error: You are not a premium member". We assume that this feature is for players with Silver Premium membership and above since it works for them. Therefore, this can be easily fixed by changing the message to: "Error: You must have a Silver premium membership".

  26. Admin - Jail / Prison: Administrators are able to jail / prison the same and higher leveled administrators. The jail / prison time does not go down. The administrator is able to freely teleport the jailed / imprisoned player, which will cause confusion. The usage of the (/prison) command displays "USAGE: /jail..." instead of "USAGE: /prison...".

  28. House movement: Players who request to move their house to another location get a notification saying that they can type '/cancel move' to cancel the movement. How ever, the command does not exist. This can be fixed by adding the movement cancel command. Also, when the player's house is deleted, the house movement request is still carried on and will not allow you to move your house again.

  30. Spectating: The administrator is able to spectate themselves. The administrator is able to use the (/sendto) command to send them selves to their selves which will interrupt the spectating. Spectating isn't smooth and when the player who is being spectated enters an interior or a vehicle, you have to use the (/spec) command again on the player.

Crash players gta_sa.exe: Unexperienced administrators who do not know, or a simple typo when using the (/setskin) command an entering an invalid Skin ID will cause the administrators and the players, and possibly anyone who is near the scene to crash their gta_sa.exe applications. There should be a numerical limit of what the administrator is able to enter.

  34. Can't exit houses when visiting: Player is able to visit an un-purchased house via the 'F' menu, how ever (at least for several types/interiors) they are not able to exit.

  36. House Renting: House owner is able to evict any player from renting his house even if they aren't renting. Really minor bug though. The player should be able to enter a locked house if the player is renting it, at the moment they cannot.

Cannot detain when player is cuffed: Officer is able to detain the player if the officer is in a car, and the player either has his hands up using the (/handsup) animation or if he is tazed in the time period. If the player is cuffed, you will get an error message saying that the player has to be restrained. Also, it's Non-RP detaining someone while being in a car.

  40. General administrative commands: Several general administrative commands are able to be used by a lower level on a higher level such as (/prison) and possibly (/kick).

  42. Dynamic ID 0 does not load: Adminstrators are able to create dynamic entrances, businesses, houses, garages and other dynamics. The first dynamic will be assigned with ID 0. How ever, it seems that after a GMX, ID 0 deletes itself and does not load. This can be fixed by looking into the saving and loading or simply make all firstly created dynamics start with ID 1. This possibly does not apply to created map icons.

  44. Cannot enable the feature to go on duty: We did not seem to find a way to enable granting the permissions of a faction to be permitted to go on duty, since several of the created factions were restricted to use the 'Duty' feature through (/locker).

  46. Minor Suggestions...

  48. Several of the messages from the administrative commands also need consistent layout style, i.e. the same colours in a written in a certain way.

  50. We suggest that for the (/bring) command, the higher administrator will receive a request and they will be able to accept or deny the teleport. The (/sendto) commands need to have the location updated by changing the coordinates, mapping the location in or removing it. Also, the teleportation command interferes and causes confusions when it is used on imprisoned players. There are also several obvious locations missing.

  52. Add the administrative feature that sets player's level onto (/setstats).

  54. Change the input of (/setpremium) so that you enter a number (level), instead of the rank's name.

  56. Add a list that displays all of the weapon IDs when an administrator types in (/giveweapon) and also when the player .

  58. Add a command that will allow the player to find out a certain vehicle's ID by typing in the name and vice-versa.

  60. Add another two, three or four more types of businesses that can be created, which would be a bar and a restaurant. There are nightclubs, how ever there are no bars. Restaurants are optional since there are other food shops, but restaurants are elegant. Another option are also casinos, which would provide more fun and freedom to players. Last but not least, a gym; instead of having an entrance for one gym in Los Santos, make it a business type.

  62. Make it so a player cannot type any random thing into (/accent) but has to choose of a list OR if they want a custom one let an administrator accept it.

  64. Several commands need to be adjusted for a more appropriate administrator level. For instance the command to destroy a car that the administrator has not created requires Head Admin (level 5).

  66. The dealership could be a business type, that will have to be accepted by a Senior Admin or a Head Admin when a player buys it. Make the dealerships system a bit more smooth and add features to it. There is only one command for it at the moment.
