***Introductions***
Welcome Home! That's what we call this place, anyway. There's no real reason why we're named after the localhost server, so don't ask. We're a community much like a small town, full of regulars and idlers, and most of us have known each other for going on three years or more. We're not really dedicated to any specific topic or subject and what we discuss largely depends on what members are online. So if you want to talk about something, just bring it up!

Our regulars are subject to change but our ops rarely change. Our ops are:

***Channel Guidelines***
As a small community of less than 50 people, there aren't many rules here, but even a micronation needs rules and guidelines. These are ours:

* First of all, keep in mind that we are a semi-diverse community and several of our members may have different opinions, a different gender, a different sexuality, a different religion, or just be different than you. We ask that you keep subjectivity in mind and don't antagonise other people just because someone's worldview is different than yours, unless they're actively harming people due to their worldview or life opinions.
* Relatedly, if your purpose in the channel is trolling or being aggressive or antagonistic, we ask that you not let the door kick you on the way out. Basically, don't be a dick.
* If you post NSFW links, label them as such before you link them, and don't spam the channel with them. We have members who don't take well to NSFW or who aren't legally allowed to see it. Please respect that.
* Pirating is illegal in most places, so don't link to illegal torrents or other such things in the channel. Torrents of things such as Linux distributions are fine, as long as they're legal.
* Don't do illegal things, period. We understand lots of countries have different laws about stuff sometimes, so if you think something is illegal in another country, don't do it in this channel.

***Other Things To Keep In Mind***
* We reserve the right</b> to kick or temp-ban you if you get too rowdy or needlessly antagonistic. We also reserve the right to kick or temp-ban the participants of an argument if it gets too heated or rowdy, or resorts to personal attacks, as a cool-down measure.
* Generally, we have a three-strike policy, which means three strikes and you're perma-banned. Strikes have no expiration date.
* If we receive complaints from more than three regulars about you hassling or antagonising them, <b>we will stage an intervention.

***Summary***
Basically, don't be a dick and you should be just fine. We'll more than likely welcome you into our cozy little community.
