A Night out with Josui Part 1

Anon quickly checked his hair in the  restaurant bathroom, it was fine and nicely done. But really he was freaking out, hoping that he looked presentable. He was on a date tonight with Josui his new girlfriend. The two had met by chance in a cafe and really hit it off. At first they had only had light conversations, but pretty soon they were meeting up for lunch and had exchanged phone numbers. And after that, they were texting and talking to one another like crazy, until finally Anon popped the question...well the girlfriend question. It's way too early for him to be thinking about marriage right now. Josui agreed with glee to the date and now here he was. He had arrived 15 minutes early to this little bistro downtown, putting on his best outfit and probably spending way too much time on his hair right now.

Deciding that he'd done enough with himself, Anon left the bathroom and when he returned to his seat, Josui had just walked in. She looked beautiful, even more so than she did naturally. She had a beautiful red dress on with gold trim, her hair was undone so that it flowed naturally, while she wore some matching red high-heels as well. To put it bluntly, Anon was doing his best to not make some sort of weird yelping noise at how cute she looked. She walked over, a small blush on her face as she sat down on the opposite end of the table "He-hello Anon, I'm sorry I kept you waiting."

Right, now was the time for Anon to say something and not sound stupid, he had to compliment her in a profound and sophisticated way, just like in the movies!

"blarmeshalgonoff!" he blurted out, covering his mouth after while feeling like a complete and utter fool. Thankfully for him Josui giggled at the display and kept a radiant smile

"I'll just take that as a 'nice to see you too'."

Anon gulped and let out a little nod. It was all he could manage to do in her presence, if his friends saw him right now they'd probably laugh at him or tell him to loosen up or something like that. The date went well enough, Anon had finally managed to speak actual words and sentences while both began making light conversation with one another. A lot of it was about how Josui's friends were very irresponsible regarding their work and how she lived in constant fear that one of them would get them all screwed over one day.

"You have my sympathy." Anon said taking a swig of some soda he'd ordered "I have a bunch of co-workers I'm not too fond of either. One of them is constantly trying to flake on work and make us pick up the slack."

"Really?" Josui asked with a raised eyebrow "I can't imagine anyone actually trying to do that..."

"Well it's a real thing and frankly surprised he's managed to pull it off this long."

The night continued on this way with the two talking and eventually leaving with Anon despite Josui's protests footing the bill himself. After all, what kind of guy would he be if he made her pay? As the two exited the restaurant, Josui received a text on her phone. A frown crept onto her face as she looked at Anon

"I'm sorry,but I have to go." She stated with a sigh "My friends are causing trouble again, so I have to rush over."

"That's fine, maybe we can...go out again sometime...ya know if you want, but if you don't I totally understand!" Anon stammered, which caused Josui to giggle at him again

"I'd love to. We can work out the details later on if that's okay with you." she said with a smile

"S-sure...!" Anon replied eagerly, Josui walked off, leaving him there enamored at what had just happened. He not only was able to go on a date with Josui once, but he was going on another with her! He knew one thing for sure: His friends were going to be extremely jealous when he told them all about it. Man, life is good.
