  1. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Now this was one of the first's activities he could actually agree with. The rooftop was secluded and offered an acceptable view of their block as well as the two moons in the proper conditions. This was aside from its use to circumvent Lit's locking him out of the elevator's controls when night fell.
  2. <Rasia> Fufufufu~ Clever big bastard.
  3. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Luckily, I'm smarter. Any control he had over the Aryan was an illusion, allowing him his small victories then finding a way around them.
  4. <Rasia> Clever ploy. The military would be proud.
  5. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He'd made his first move in completeing the goals set for him by SEELE, but there was clearly more information on the girl to be found. What he had, he wouldn't surrender to Freyja. He would create his own report and return to the Moon, presenting it to them himself.
  6. <Rasia> Oh ho, bypassing the suspicious element. But how do you plan on securing a trip to the Moon, exactly? It isn't on the bus routes or anything.
  7. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Surely he could secure transport through Freyja without sharing his direct purpose. By bringing Nidhogg to Earth she revealed she has access to the Moon.
  8. <Rasia> An excellent point. And shall we also trust her to explain your absence to the other pilots?
  9. <Wilhelm_Faustus> That matter would not directly affect him, and being his primary care physcian they were likely to believe whatever story she hoped to spin.
  10. <Wilhelm_Faustus> wanted to spin*
  11. <Rasia> Corrin definitely, Lahja may suspect, but the third...
  12. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Did it matter? Once his mission was complete was he all that likely to return? They could easily begin their designs for Third Impact at any time.
  13. <Rasia> You really think this is the extent of your mission? That they made a whole batch of clones to collect intel on a single girl?
  14. <Wilhelm_Faustus> ...no. Certainly their recent...contamination...made that suspect.
  15. <Rasia> You're coming back. If they let you leave at all, that is. See what good comes of listening to your gut now and then?
  16. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He stands, walking to the edge of the roof. He couldn't trust any of them. Not SEELE, not Freyja or his new contact.
  17. <Rasia> A HAND SEIZES YOUR ANKLE OH GOD
  18. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He peers down. Only one person here seemed to have that habit.
  19. Rasia peers back up at him, gripping the wall with bare feet.
  20. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "What are you doing?"
  21. <Rasia> 'Hunt' She signs, clambering up onto the roof next to him. 'Roof odd'
  22. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Yes, well, not too many creatures consider a rooftop to be their natural habitat."
  23. <Rasia> 'Bird' She counters, though she finds the cold spot where he was lying and looks up.
  24. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He watches her, hands slipping into his pockets.
  25. <Rasia> 'No smell', she deflects, still peering up at the moons like a hidden image puzzle.
  26. <Wilhelm_Faustus> She needs to work on more complex sentence structures, really. "What do you mean?"
  27. <Rasia> 'My smell gone'. She thumbs to herself, and looks him up and down.
  28. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Oh...right. About time, really."
  29. <Rasia> A huff. Without warning, she pulls up her shirt and begins to roll and rub. Nothing salacious, but it's still a young woman rubbing her belly and back on a roof tile. I'm sure that's porn somewhere in the world.
  30. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He sighs, but watches none the less. "Claiming the few spaces I inhabit doesn't make me yours, just those spaces."
  31. <Rasia> When she's done, she stands up, letting her shirt cover her dusty torso. "Hmf!"
  32. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Just a fact."
  33. Rasia creeps closer, the gears turning. Looks like she's putting two and two together...
  34. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Might as well see where this goes, hm?
  35. <Rasia> Yyyep, there she goes. Wilhelm's pushed to the ground, Rasia determined to make him smell like her.
  36. <Wilhelm_Faustus> It could be worse. Some boys his age would kill for an experience like this, after all.
  37. <Rasia> It'd probably be a lot nicer if you were on your back. Still, small victories. After a good ten minutes bordering on chafing, she lets up, glaring down at the boy.
  38. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He rolls onto his back with a snort and laughs. "Let me ask you something."
  39. <Rasia> Her head cocks, and her expression softens.
  40. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Why is it you want to claim me, hm?"
  41. <Rasia> Looong silence. She sits, looking around. A pen, maybe?
  42. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Not exactly something he carried on him at all times.
  43. <Rasia> Her either. She settles for a finger. It's fast, but if he watches he could parse her out, even in Arabic. 'Think about boy a lot. Must mean is mine.' She probably puts more time into those eloquent journal entries of hers.
  44. <Wilhelm_Faustus> For a moment, her answer seems to catch him off guard. But soon his expression settles back into place. "It could mean many things, not all of them positive."
  45. <Rasia> A grumble. More finger-drawing. 'Already did room.' The first's memories of that event are probably very vivid.
  46. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Yes, I recall."
  47. <Rasia> 'Tonight.' Is that...cockiness?
  48. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "There are other things we could do that would allow your scent to linger in my room." He stands, brushing himself off.
  49. <Rasia> Another head-tilt. She leans back to follow his movement.
  50. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He smiles ever so slightly at her head-tilt. "Mate."
  51. Rasia stares, not making a move either way, save to stand and be closer to eye-level. 'Strong?' Back to signing.
  52. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "...I don't need to be with you around."
  53. <Rasia> An...odd look. She parses the sentence out, and looks away from him.
  54. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He turns away and heads for the ladder, taking his time.
  55. <Rasia> He'd probably make it all the way back into the living room before a piece of protective plastic nudged his shoulder.
  56. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He looks to its owner, already reaching up to release it.
  57. <Rasia> A set of sharp teeth graze his skin, two strong arms squeezing around his stomach. "Why."
  58. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "You should be more specific. Why what?"
  59. <Rasia> She chews lazily on his cold skin, thinking hard. "Why...why mine?" Methinks she isn't quite asking the question she wants to. Remember why she thinks you belong to her in the first place.
  60. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He sighs, closing his eyes. His best option is to remain relaxed right now. "That's not something I can answer. I don't know why you think about me."
  61. <Wilhelm_Faustus> There was something vaguely...pleasnt...about the way her lips and teeth played across his skin, so he wasn't in a hurry to leave.
  62. <Rasia> A low noise, deep in her throat. It's a wonder her skin doesn't hurt to meet yours, given the sharp difference in body temperatures. Finally she lifts her head, clicking her teeth. "Cold." She remarks, slipping hands under the boy's clothes to experience more of the chill.
  63. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Cold heart, cold hands." Not quite the proper expression, he realized. But it had a certain ring to it. Speaking of cold hands, they were inside her shirt, resting along the small of her back.
  64. <Rasia> The metaphor has her twisting around to be in front of him, wriggling into his shirt to check. ...Yep, his chest is cold alright.
  65. <Wilhelm_Faustus> A hand runs through her hair, thumb tracing the outline of her ear. He's careful not to get his hands near her neck. "...why do you think it is, you think about me so often?"
  66. <Rasia> "Mine." She responds from inside his shirt. "Weak, mine."
  67. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He'd hoped she might do some deeper thinking, but it was alright. He rests his head back, content to let her do as she pleased for now. "It's hard to say no to something like that."
  68. <Rasia> More silence. Finally she extricates herself, licking her teeth. "More?"
  69. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "I still havn't agreed to being yours."
  70. <Rasia> A frown. More thought. "Take."
  71. <Wilhelm_Faustus> This was fairly amusing. "How do you plan to do that?"
  72. Rasia bares her teeth, flexing her arms.
  73. <Rasia> A strong point.
  74. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "You are rather amazing. I would be a fool to refuse."
  75. Rasia pushes her eyebrows together. Then why discuss it at all...
  76. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "But just how weak am I if I simply give in?" He caresses her cheek. This may be his moment to get that blood sample.
  77. <Rasia> A solid point... Her head tilts.
  78. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He moves his face close to hers, blue eyes locked on her own mismatched orbs."What good is the hunt, if there isn't a chase?" Maybe she'll understand that one better.
  79. Rasia narrows her eyes, bristling before she can even think about it.
  80. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He's already accepted the fact she's going to bite him, he just hand to be sure he got a clean sample when he bit her. He's careful not to startle her too badly, lips pressing to hers, hot and cold mingling.
  81. <Rasia> It's sharp and sudden. No forethought or measuring, just a bite on the mouth. A second. Soon the silver flows, making the kiss tart and metallic.
  82. <Wilhelm_Faustus> She's not holding back this time, is she? He'll have to make this quick, teeth coming down to bite into her lip.
  83. <Rasia> "!" Now it's a fight.
  84. <Wilhelm_Faustus> This taste, it's different from the potent metallic tinge in his own blood. Its hot, spicey? How could he describe it?
  85. <Rasia> Like wrestling with a dingo trying to eat your tongue?
  86. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Damn, he should have stuck to the idea of overfeeding her into complience. Now he's in a struggle with an opponent that outmatches his physically.
  87. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Rasia, Wilhelm has stopped struggling now, in fact he isn't even paying attention to you. He's frozen in fear, eyes locked on the far wall.
  88. Rasia cranes her neck, lips dribbling crimson and silver, trying to see what he's paying attention to. "Rh?" Back to Wilhelm
  89. <Wilhelm_Faustus> She may not see it, but he does. Its a Troll, as large as life, coming through the wall as if it wasn't even there. Logic would tell him Trolls can't do that, but logic is on a lunch break. "Nein...NEIN!" He's scrambling to get out from under you Rasia.
  90. Rasia scowls and tries to pin the boy. Chickenshit!
  91. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Let go, it's a Troll!" He actually tries to fight her off, more concerned about the non-existant Jotunn-spawn then wrestling with her.
  92. <Rasia> That, at least, jerks her head around again. Senses on alert, she lets the boy go, searching desperately for the supposed Troll.
  93. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Sadly, the moment he's free, he can see more of them coming through other surfaces. Fuck! He grabs for one of the books he'd left here, hurling it toward one of his enemies.
  94. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Lit! Lahja! Anyone! Trolls!" His pupils are as big as saucers, but his terror and hallucinations are all very reall to him.
  95. Rasia follows its movement, watching the book strike nothing but empty air and possibly drywall. She even sniffs the area, truly flabbergasted, and turns her attention on the panicking Wilhelm.
  96. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "They shouldn't be here, they wouldn't do this!" The coffee table is flipped over in his scramble for more weapons.
  97. Rasia goes for the Aryan, concluding there are no Trolls, but doesn't grab him just yet.
  98. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja exits her room, hearing something about trolls. She runs into the living room with a straw. Maybe it's a bad excuse for a blowgun?
  99. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "So... Trolls?" She asks after a few moments of observing and looking about, her voice a little flat.
  100. <Wilhelm_Faustus> A lamp sails past you Lahja, hitting the wall. Looks like the pale one has lost his mind.
  101. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja moves off to the side. She looks behind herself at the remnants of the lamp, then ducks. "Wilhelm! What are you doing?!"
  102. Rasia growls, dodging a phonebook.
  103. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Sorry, no one is home right now Lahja. He takes off for the hallway, dodging past you, tumbling with a shout as another Troll pops up to menace him.
  104. Rasia chases after!
  105. <Wilhelm_Faustus> A shoulder into the door of Lit's room as he turns the knob. Twitchy features search for something, Lit must have stabby things or the pew pew guns.
  106. <Darkling> Lit spins around in his chair looking at Wilhelm, a few faces on his monitor look the same.
  107. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He pants, eyes falling on a locker. Yeah, hes seen those before. He makes a break for it, hands grabbing the handles and rattling them, trying to open it.
  108. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja goes after Wilhelm as well. She didn't know what was going on, but she didn't like it. Maybe some of the gas got into someone's clothes and it made Wilhelm hallucinate?
  109. <Rasia> Well there did seem to be some mercury on Wilhelm's face...heavy metal poisoning?
  110. Rasia sprints for the boy, freezing to look over at Lit.
  111. <Darkling> Lit has the mind to hit mute on his microphone before getting up and wrapping his arms around Wilhelm.
  112. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "No! They're in here! TROLLS!" He struggles like his life depends on it.
  113. <Darkling> "Rasia," He grunts, "Lower left cabinet, there's tranquilizers.."
  114. Rasia goes for them, the human part of her mind questioning why he keeps those on hand...
  115. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja looks on, rather dumbfounded and wide eyed. But that was certainly useful information.
  116. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Dammit, let me go! I won't die again!" He -really- wants to be released, actually turing his thrashing against Lit.
  117. <Darkling> His grip increases, keeping the thrashing to a minimum.
  118. <Lahja_Ilvainen> He won't die again? Interesting!
  119. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He hangs his head, sucking in a deep breath before yelling. So...he's a supersayian charging up now.
  120. Rasia stabs the needle deep into Wilhelm's chest, putting the tranquilizers square in his heart. And she would know.
  121. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Wilhelm. There are no trolls here. It's just leftover cow gas or something." Lahja says, trying to sound calm and reassuring.
  122. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He tries to struggle still but...shit, Rasia...critical hit. It's already pumping through his body, and he's out in moments.
  123. Rasia pulls the needle out slowly, looking up at Lit. "...Sick." She concludes.
  124. <Darkling> "I'll say.. Both of you out, I need to call Dr. Freyja."
  125. Rasia growls, but licks her teeth and exits.
  126. <Darkling> He looks to his monitor where a few NERV officials and the Vice-comm are sitting by, watching.
  127. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Sir." Lahja salutes Lit, then casts a final glance toward Wilhelm before she exits.
  128. Rasia looks over at Lahja, once the door's closed. ...Concern?
  129. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "I have no idea. He's... different." Lahja says in a slightly agitated tone. She gives the door a hard look.
  130. Rasia purses her lips, starting when she realizes her mouthguard is still off. To the living room!
  131. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja stares at the door a bit longer. Then she decides it's pointless, and off to the living room she goes.
  132. Rasia sits curled on the couch, watching Lahja.
  133. <Lahja_Ilvainen> She looks at Rasia in awkward silence for a while. She had no idea how to start. Eventually she strikes a pose, imitating Null Drei after firing off a shot at the moon. "Strange."
  134. Rasia bursts into giggles, her mouthguard giving them a whistling undertone.
  135. <Rasia> But she nods, clearly agreeing.
  136. <Darkling> Lit finally emerges from his room, carrying the unconscious aryan, and lays him down on the couch.
  137. <Darkling> "The doctor is on her way, make sure he doesn't spasm or anything.."
  138. Rasia sits on the boy, pointing at Lahja and signing 'food'.
  139. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja stares at Rasia, a blank look on her face. Did she intend to eat Wilhelm? Probably not. Then it dawns on her. "I'll get something and be right back." And then she's off to the kitchen.
  140. Rasia purrs~
  141. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He looks rather peaceful when unconscious, maybe even content?
  142. Rasia looks down at him, waiting for Lahja and the food.
  143. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja goes for a quick approach, chopping up assorted vegetables and fruits, talking to them all the while. With that done she puts the food on a pair of plates and wanders back to the living room. "Nooo! She's going to digest me!"
  144. <Lahja_Ilvainen> A plate is offered to Rasia.
  145. <Darkling> Lit comes back out. "Well, that made things interesting.." He sighs, a rare thing for him.
  146. Rasia blinks, staring up at Lahja and taking her plate. Delishus veggies.
  147. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Interesting, sir?"
  148. <Darkling> "My call.." he says a bit unamused. "Now, what happened?"
  149. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "I was doing some homework in my room, sir. And then I heard Wilhelm screaming about Trolls. When I came out he was throwing things and panicking. Rasia and I tried to restrain him, and he ran into your room, sir. That's all I know."
  150. <Darkling> He looks to Rasia, wondering if he will get more of an explanation.
  151. Rasia signs carefully. 'Kiss bite' She points to Wilhelm, still under her. 'sick'
  152. <Darkling> "..." That's a stare of Lit trying to understand.
  153. <Rasia> "..." Rasia picks up the boy by the shoulders, miming a kiss to his unconscious face. 'Kiss bite sick'.
  154. <Darkling> He shakes his head, understanding and not wanting to.
  155. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja looks from Rasia to Wilhelm and back to Rasia. What the hell?
  156. Rasia drops the boy, eating more of her veggies. Fuck y'all.
  157. <Darkling> He wanders to the kitchen and opens a bottle of wine, pouring himself a glass.
  158. Rasia looks back at Lahja, pointing at the veggies and giving an approving sign.
  159. <Lahja_Ilvainen> She gives Rasia a thumbs up and a smile. "I'll make lutefisk for us all one night if I can get everything I need."
  160. Rasia nods. Doesn't know what that is, but food is food is food. She reaches for the remote, and starts channel flipping.
  161. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Hel, following by Rasia's example, has taken a seat on top of the Aryan as well.
  162. <Darkling> Lit pours another glass and moves to sit down in a chair.
  163. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Will he be alright, sir?" Lahja asks, moving to a chair.
  164. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Her claws come out, pulling at his shirt and kneading his skin as she moves it tight circles.
  165. Rasia curls a hand around the kitten, picking her up and placing her in a softer place.
  166. [2011-07-03 20:58:45] <Darkling> Lit leaves Rasia and Hel on top of him. Whatever the boy took to do this to himself, he deserved the pain.
  167. <Darkling> He takes a sip from his glass still watching them.
  168. Rasia nibbles a carrot slice, stopping on the News.
  169. <Darkling> Without too much more of a wait, the elevator opens admitting Freyja, who promptly walks over to the common room and gawks at the display of Rasia on top of Wilhelm.
  170. Rasia growls, looking at the woman like a mouse.
  171. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "He was hallucinating." Lahja says, stuffing a piece of celery into her mouth afterwards.
  172. <Darkling> "Rasia, let her see Wilhelm." Lit orders.
  173. Rasia stands, catching Hel before the kitten falls from her lap.
  174. <Darkling> Freyja moves over, making a huff, her face full of anger, and kneels over the boy, beginning a quick inspection.
  175. Rasia bares her teeth, but doesn't interfere.
  176. <Darkling> "We need to get him to my facility, immediately." She says, standing.
  177. <Darkling> She takes out her phone and punches a few keys. "I will have personnel come take him in a moment."
  178. Rasia snorts.
  179. <Darkling> Sure enough a few men in white scrubs arrive with a stretcher, load Wilhelm onto it, and take him down the elevator, leaving Freyja behind.
  180. <Darkling> "I hope you know I'll be making a full report of what I see going on here." She says, glaring at Lit.
  181. Rasia grrrrrowls.
  182. <Darkling> She turns and stomps her way out, heels clicking across the tile.
  183. Rasia clicks her teeth, sitting where Wilhelm was. "Eat. Woman."
  184. <Darkling> "You can't kill the Devil," Lit notes, finishing his glass off.
  185. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja stuffs a piece of celery into her mouth. She watches Freya leave. "But sometimes kicking the Devil where it counts makes you feel better."
  186. Rasia gives Lahja a smile.
  187. <Darkling> "That it would." Lit smiles too. "Well, what shall we do today ladies?"
  188. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja ponders that whilst chewing on carrot bits. "A story, maybe? How did you get involved in this?"
  189. Rasia wiggles her nose.
  190. <Darkling> "Eh, well, that isn't a very good story." He sets his glass onto the closest table.
  191. <Darkling> "Anything else?" he asks.
  192. Rasia snorts, munching on celery. "Wrestle?"
  193. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja nods, making a mental note of that. She chalks it up to a demotion. "Hm. I'm a bit sunk for ideas. But later on I'd like to get a cod for a project."
  194. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Assuming they still make cods these days..." she quickly adds.
  195. Rasia cocks her head.
  196. <Darkling> "I'll remember to pick one up from the market. Dead or alive?"
  197. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Dead." And then after an ominous pause. "I think."
  198. Rasia wiggles her fingers in the air. Fishing...
  199. <Darkling> "I will have to see if we can get clearance to go fishing sometime," he adds, wondering how much he will be able to get cleared after this.
  200. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Fishing might be nice. I've never seriously done it before."
  201. <Darkling> "I used to fish as a boy, when it was an easy thing to do."
  202. Rasia swats at the air, lazily and slowly. Seems Rasia agrees, fishing is nice.
  203. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "But it's harder now?"
  204. <Darkling> "There aren't many open coasts or rivers that aren't frozen over. It's still possible of course."
  205. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Are the fish different these days? Are there Trollfish?"
  206. <Darkling> "I have never heard of a troll fish, but deep sea exploration is not what it used to be. We knew little about what dwelled down there before, there could be Trollfish now for all we know."
  207. Rasia freezes, briefly imagining such a thing.
  208. Rasia gets a dumb, contented look on her face.
  209. <Darkling> "Of course, we have had very little to investigate on Trolls even. Almost all encountered have been obliterated by necessity."
  210. Rasia claps her hands together. Squish~
  211. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Something to harass Wilhelm with later on, maybe. "I'm a little interested in them after Wilhelm's hallucinations. Maybe I'll become a troll researcher later on in life."
  212. <Darkling> "We could always use a good brain like yours. Hold on a moment." He gets up, heading to his room.
  213. Rasia watches Lit leave, celery stick wiggling as she eats the other end.
  214. <Darkling> He comes back with a tablet of his own and sets it on the coffee table. A model is spinning slowly on the screen, it looks like a 3D mockup of a Troll.
  215. <Darkling> "This is what information we were able to get from the last Trolls encountered." Some statistics come up on the screen pointing out body parts and functions.
  216. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja gives it a close look. This is what had Wilhelm screaming? Curious. "Oh... some anatomical information. That's more than I expected."
  217. <Darkling> "It's merely educated guesses, but we do have the top experts working for us."
  218. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Have there ever been any attempts made to capture one?"
  219. <Darkling> "There was one. We sent two tanks after one that was spotted not far from the dome."
  220. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Two tanks... it didn't go well?"
  221. <Darkling> "At the time we were unaware of the capabilities of Trolls. While the Troll did acceptable levels of damage to the tanks, it was all but destroyed in retaliation."
  222. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Maybe another time, then. I can't help but wonder if they're at all like us inside."
  223. <Rasia> "Taste. Not same." Rasia remarks.
  224. <Darkling> "I'm not privy to much information on them beyond the 'need-to-know' but I've heard whispers that their biology isn't all that different."
  225. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "That's weird. Then again, humans and animals aren't all that different either."
  226. <Darkling> Lit reaches down and hits a few buttons on the tablet, and it moves to a 3D render of the first Jotun.
  227. Rasia wiggles her nose, leaning forward.
  228. <Darkling> Again, a similar display comes up denoting parts of anatomy. There is slightly more information here than there was on the Troll.
  229. <Darkling> "This was the Jotun dubbed Lútr. It was the first you encountered and destroyed."
  230. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja looks to this as well, taking note of various aspects. "And they learned all this just from analyzing the records of our fight?"
  231. <Darkling> "The MAGI have other means of analysis. Some of it was from videos of your fight and feeds from the Aesir."
  232. <Wilhelm_Faustus> A sound from the elevator. Someone is coming up.
  233. Rasia jerks her head.
  234. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Bing. The doors part, Wilhelm stepping out, hands in his pockets and head tilted down ever so slightly.
  235. <Rasia> "Sick?"
  236. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "I was taking a prescribed drug to counter some lasting effects from the incident at the dome. They had some ill side-effects that were not expected."
  237. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Should the rest of us be worried?"
  238. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "No."
  239. <Darkling> "I hope they keep you off those drugs then."
  240. Rasia peers at the boy.
  241. <Wilhelm_Faustus> His eyes wander to the 3D Jotunn. "No cause for concern, I've been taken off them." He's crossing the room as he speaks, heading for the hallway.
  242. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "As social as ever." Lahja mutters.
  243. <Darkling> "Perhaps less biting each other in the future as well." Lit adds.
  244. Rasia licks her lips, pretending not to notice.
  245. <Wilhelm_Faustus> A shrug and he's gone.
  246. <Rasia> "Boy weird."
  247. <Darkling> "You can say that again."
  248. Rasia looks at Lit, her eyebrows scrunched, then gives up. "Boy weird."
  249. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja nods in agreement. "But disaster over, for now."
  250. <Darkling> Lit scoops up his tablet, turning it off.
  251. Rasia nods, moving to lounge more properly, letting Hel use her belly.
  252. <Rasia> "Girl bo-" She freezes mid-word, and scoops up her mouthguard again. Lit said to avoid biting...
  253. <Darkling> "Well, in light of this, Lahja, want to learn to cook something?"
  254. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "I would, sir." She hops up with a smile. "It will be good practice."
  255. <Darkling> He gets up and moves to the fridge to see what there is. "We have a roast, ingredients for lasagna, stew..."
  256. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Lasagna?" Lahja asks, sounding a bit skeptical. "Never heard of it."
  257. <Darkling> "Lasagna it is then." He begins pulling out ingredients and passing them to her.
  258. <Lahja_Ilvainen> She investigates them all as she sets them aside on the counter, looking more than a little clueless. What could all these things come together to make?
  259. <Darkling> Sausage, beef, garlic, tomatoes, mushrooms, different types of cheeses, some sauce he made at some other time...
  260. Rasia tries to stick her tongue out, succeeding only in licking her muzzle. The smell of food relaxes her, as she drags her fingertip over Hel's head.
  261. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Tomatoes. Sauce. Red. One of her favorite colors. Whatever it was, at least it would probably turn pretty! "What do we do with all of this? Is it some sort of glorified tomato soup?"
  262. <Darkling> "Not quite." He fishes some lasagna noodles out of a cupboard and sets them on the counter. "So you've never heard of this before?"
  263. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Never, sir. Back home our food was a little bland most of the time."
  264. <Darkling> He pulls out a recipe book and lays it on the counter for her.
  265. <Darkling> Followed by the book slapping against the counter a wail pierces the air. A not often heard sound, but all too familiar.
  266. Rasia bolts upright.
  267. Wilhelm_Faustus appears, hands in his pockets.
  268. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja looks at the cookbook. And then jumps, startled by the sudden noise.
  269. <Darkling> "Let's go pilots." He orders, pointing to the elevator.
  270. Rasia scampers, leaving Hel on the couch.
  271. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Right away, sir!" And Lahja is off!
  272. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "The One Who Brings Pain." He utters, loading into the elevator.
  273. <Darkling> ==================END=================
