FoE RPG G0 - #047 Salvage Farm: Rebriefing

[22:29]<SpiritOfFate>	Buck returns to Firefly, bringing a scrawny, sickly filly with him. Cross Section was one of the few that still had some proper engineering knowledge, as Deep Blue, the best one of them, had died from Gabrielle's backlash.
[22:29]?	Firefly lifts her head up from within the cockpit. "Hi!"
[22:34]?	Firefly flies out of the cockpit and lands near the filly. "Hi! I'm Firefly! You want a sparkle cola?"
[22:37]<SpiritOfFate>	The filly opens a smile like it is her birthday. "C-can I?"
[22:38]?	Sotho first tries to make Rattatoue for Knick Knack, reading the cook book closely
[22:38]?	Royal_Lace looks over to the small Filly and trots over, "Of course you can, and our friend Mr. Sotho is making a big dinner or so I hear with the help of some other ponies. Wont that be nice?"
[22:39]?	Firefly nods to the filly and Royal Lace. "Mr. Sotho makes the best food! It'll be awesome." Firefly looks over to Royal_Lace and nods. "Miss Pretty Pony, can she have my Sparkle Cola?"
[22:40]?	Royal_Lace nods, "Yes, sharing is a great way to make new friends Firefly"
[22:45]<SpiritOfFate>	Tamara approaches Royal_Lace. "We need to talk."
[22:48]?	Royal_Lace looks to Tamara, nodding, "Alright, lets leave the fillies to themselves and talk then".
[22:48]<SpiritOfFate>	A delicious smell raises from the kitchen. With heavy use of spices and careful preparation, Sotho salvages the vegetables into a pretty good soup. Knick Knack's favorite dish cooks on the side, she helps with a big smile.
[22:49]?	Sotho sighs happily as he works, looking over other recipes in the cook book. He starts to sing a soft tune in his native tongue, the song moving softly and calmly, much like the song for an opening to a festival.
[22:51]<SpiritOfFate>	The party balloon hums the song along with Sotho
[22:51]<SpiritOfFate>	Cross stretches her head expectantly
[22:53]?	Firefly pulls the sparkle cola out of her pack and pops the cap off for the filly. "Here!"
[22:55]<SpiritOfFate>	Cross drinks eagerly and fast. "Mmm~ uh, what did you want me for?"
[22:55]?	Sotho looks to Knick Knack, motioning for her to at least hum along.
[22:56]?	Firefly giggles. "I wanted to get this big griffinbot ready to fly and save everyone at Overgrowth, but the armor is too heavy for it. Do you think you can fix the schematic?"
[22:58]<SpiritOfFate>	Knick Knack hums along. Soon, with the blessing of the Laughter spirit, the food gets ready.
[23:00]<SpiritOfFate>	Cross takes a good look on the schematics. "These are those big robots right?" She takes a good look "Huh? What do these do? ...but if that changes... hm, this part is missing... "
[23:00]?	Sotho smiles. "Knick Knack, could you be a dear and try to get everyponies attention that food will be served in the manor?"
[23:00]<SpiritOfFate>	"I can try but it will take a while." Cross says
[23:03]?	Firefly nods to Cross. "Ok. Its gonna take a while for us to get the other stuff finished anyway." Firefly flies up and goes back into the cockpit while the others get some other parts done for the bot.
[23:05]<SpiritOfFate>	Tamara says to Royal_Lace. "You wanted to invade the slaver plantation. We can get you some help from our teleporters and scouts, but we will need something from there. We aren't ready to take down their troops and fortifications, but if we manage to get a sample of their seeds, we can grow exploitation-free food for ourselves."
[23:07]?	Royal_Lace nods, "yes, we want to be sure and extract Fireflys mother from her current perdiciment as soon as possible, your help would be very much appreciated and Im sure that we can manage the seeds as an additional goal. Tell me though, have you heard from her since we contacted her?"
[23:10]<SpiritOfFate>	Tamara shakes her head. "We haven't. Another pony managed to get ahold of a broadcaster, but they didn't know of her whereabouts."
[23:12]<SpiritOfFate>	Knick Knack nods. "Sure!" She trots upstairs.
[23:12]?	Royal_Lace adverts her gaze and holds back a curse, "That... is unfortunate, If you do not mind me speaking planely miss It was my idea to come back here and help the scrapyard rather than go directly to her aid... if anything has happened to her I dont know what I would say to Firefly..."
[23:17]?	Firefly continues to work on the cockpit, continuing to make progress.
[23:18]<SpiritOfFate>	"Many ponies here owe their lives to you, but I understand there is a personal stake in it. After all you done for us, we can't just turn our backs. I will provide you all information I have about those farms. It isn't much becase they isolate themselves from the rest of society. There are heavy walls, underground facilities and the addict slaves tend to tell the slavers about our movement. It's a sad situation."
[23:19]?	Sotho sets the large tables inside the manor.
[23:20]<SpiritOfFate>	Firefly manages to get the internal controls working. It can be moved from inside, though it's still without most capacities.
[23:21]?	Firefly cheers as she gets the controls working. "Now to get the rest of the stuff working!" The filly moves to start working on other items... like weaponizing this sucker!
[23:22]?	Royal_Lace "I understand and I appreatiate the help, We should probably move as soon as we can, enough time has been spent on distractions, I dont regret our decision to help I just dont know how much more time we can leave her alone and still have hope for the best. Can you tell me more about where she was?"
[23:23]<SpiritOfFate>	<Hello. Uh, we have food. You can come and eat here on the house... I'm sorry for all you've been through. It doesn't do much, but I am.... so, food. There is food here.>
[23:27]?	Sotho smiles and chuckles lightly from Knick's comment, but he makes sure to prepare the food never the less.
[23:31]<SpiritOfFate>	Tamara twitches her ears at the announcement. "Along the eastern wall, they had dug their own trench hidden among the sugarcane stalks. I don't know what you will find there since we haven't heard from her. We do know they keep some ponies separate from the others, but other than the slavehouse at the southern wall, it's all underground"
[23:33]<SpiritOfFate>	"Is she really the slaver's daughter?" Tamara raises an eyebrow.
[23:34]?	Royal_Lace follows her gaze and smiles, "Bought me and the rest of our small group herself, all save for Hawkeye and Ignis that is. Shes a real dear though, dispite what her father wanted for her she really never had the heart for hurting other ponies"
[23:39]<SpiritOfFate>	"That's a surprise." Tamara smiles. "Just make sure to protect her. Other ponies might not forgive so easily."
[23:40]?	Royal_Lace nods, "I understand".
[23:40]<SpiritOfFate>	All the ponies start gathering inside the main house, eager for a good meal.
[23:41]?	Hawkeye stirs in her sleep and mutters something about cabbages before rolling over and dozing off again.
[23:42]?	Firefly looks over at the robot for a moment before shaking her head. "I can bring the food back here. You want me to bring you back some food too?" Firefly looks over at the schematicking filly.
[23:43]<SpiritOfFate>	"I do!" She smiles, peeking fram a hole in the schematics
[23:44]?	Sotho starts to serve the ponies his food he has made, smiling and whistling a happy tune.
[23:45]?	Royal_Lace looks back towards the medical tents, "Sounds like the food is ready... I wonder if the doctor can spare time to make it for a meal, do you know if the supplies I picked up helped?"
[23:47]?	Firefly nods to the filly. "Ok! I'll go get it!" Firefly darts to the main house to get food for herself and the other filly.
[23:50]<SpiritOfFate>	An overworked Chroma peeks out as Wintergreen  cleans the wound of another slave. "Soon. For now I'm just glad to have something to work with."
