  1. **This Story is not intended to be a hardcore Master/Sub Story all the way through. This story Will have Master/Sub themes near the end though.**
  2.
  3.
  4. >Resting on your couch, Celestia sighs, staring out the window.
  5. >It's not uncommon for her to visit, since you've helped solve many problems for her before.
  6. >Today's problem seems a little heavier though, given she has yet to say a thing yet.
  7. "You know, Princess, I can't help you if you don't tell me what the problem is."
  8. >"I know, it's just I don't know if you could help."
  9. "So, are you going to tell me?"
  10. >Another sigh escapes her, and she sits up, looking over at you.
  11. >"Alright, well, I'm sure you heard about the failed invasion a week back? The one that happened during the wedding. Well, during it, we ended up capturing their leader, and I'm at a loss as to what to do."
  12. "Why's that?"
  13. >"Well, a lot of ponies, including Princess Cadence and the newly made Prince Shining want her to be executed, but I'd rather it not come to that. On the other hoof, I'd like to see her changed, made good, so to say, but nopony will put up with her attitude."
  14. "What if it wasn't a pony who was trying to reform her?"
  15. >"They might be able to handle her, but I doubt any of them would be willing to do it, as most other species hate changelings too."
  16. "I can think of one that's neutral."
  17. >"Oh, what race is that?"
  18. >Pointing to yourself, you notice her mouth form a small o of surprise.
  19. >"You'd do it? Are you sure? She can be quite manipulative."
  20. "I'd hope I can. We can set up some safety measures anyways, so she can't do anything against me."
  21. >"I can have her transfer set within the week. What do you think you'll need?"
  22. "Well..."
  23. >Five days later and everything is ready for your new guest, including her spacious six foot by six foot by six foot cage in your dark back room.
  24. >Nothing like a little "atmosfear" to help break a spirit.
  25. >You even let a few spiders in to add to the effect.
  26. >And best of all, you made sure Celestia had her guards spreading rumors that Chrysalis was being transferred to an old insane asylum to "fix" her.
  27. >One can only imagine what she is thinking, about to be stuffed into a dark, sightless box to be brought here.
  28. >If she's anything like these ponies, a few days in the dark, the threat of death hanging around her and a strange, Psycho acting doctor will get her on the good path right quick.
  29. >In case it doesn't though, you do have a few back-up plans.
  30. >But you'll have to wait and see how she does.
  31. >While you wait, it's time for lunch.
  32. >Since you're friends with Celestia, you can get easier access to meats, though most need to be prepared by hand.
  33. >Slicing a nice slab of steak off a chunk is a messy job, so you have an apron specifically for it.
  34. >Even with all your practice, you still get blood all over your hands and the apron, when you hear a pounding at the door.
  35. >Bloody knife still in hand, you make your way to the door and open it.
  36. >The reaction of the guard on the other side is perfect, and you hope you get the same from your new roommate.
  37. >His jaw hits the floor and his legs start shaking, his breathing becoming rapid.
  38. >"Uh, D... Doctor, your n... new patient is here," he stutters, eyes locked on the blade in your hand.
  39. "Excellent, come, I'll show you to her new room."
  40. >A large and angrily moving crate is behind him, another guard on the other side.
  41. >With you facing away, ready to lead them in, he can focus on his job better, and he lifts his grabs the reins to pull the crate in.
  42. >Through the narrow hallway, down to the back room, you lead them, opening the door.
  43. >Opening the cage, you help line up the box and unlock the front.
  44. >Lifting the front, the back is pushed forward, forcing the changeling into the cage.
  45. >Before she can turn around and get out, you reach in between the bars and grab her horn, pulling it up between the bars.
  46. "Now now, little missy, don't think of trying to get away. You and I are going to be great friends, I think."
  47. >She rams her head up, trying to spike you with her horn in the dark, but you start moving your hand, twisting her head and putting her horn in a bad spot.
  48. "You don't want to do that, little Chrysalis, I'd rather not snap off this pretty little horn of yours, but if you keep being naughty, I'll have to remove it."
  49. >Just to emphasize the threat, you push down a little, making her face press against the cage harder.
  50. >The sound of locks clicking into place signals the cage is sealed, and you release her horn, patting her head.
  51. "That wasn't so bad, now was it?"
  52. >Her response is to bite your hand, teeth making deep wounds before you shake her off.
  53. >Almost immediately, her eyes go wide in the dark, and she lets out a blood curdling scream as she falls to the ground, writhing in pain.
  54. "Perhaps I should have warned you, but I had our good princess install special rings in your hooves, I'm sure you've noticed them. You see, each is filled with a different, but special poison, each more painful and crippling than the last."
  55. "Most won't kill you, and they do also contain the antidote, but you see, they start if you ever try to injure me."
  56. >Shooing the guards out, you look back from the door, and smile, your bloody form lit intimidatingly by the backlight you set up.
  57. "Of course, they only release the antidote when I say so. Enjoy."
  58. >Closing the door, she is plunged into darkness, and you return to making lunch, being sure to wash and bandage your hands.
  59. >With everything ready too cook, you walk back to your back room, open the door, and command the ring to stop..
  60. "So, have you calmed down a little, dear? I would hate to use the second poison so soon."
  61. >"You *pant*, I will not forgive you, *gasp* I'll kill you."
  62. "No need to be so aggressive, I'm here to help you."
  63. >"Then let me out, beast. I need to get rid of those stupid pony rulers so I can rule."
  64. >Clicking your tongue, you walk over and stare down at her.
  65. "That's no good, no good at all. Well, we're just getting started, so lets see if we can't change that evil mind of yours."
  66. "For now though, I have a nice chunk of flesh to eat. Who knows, if you're naughty enough, I may have you for dinner."
  67. >Licking your fingers, you close the door and walk out back to cook.
  68. >Relaxing for lunch, you enjoy a delicious steak and cheese sandwich, before stepping outside for some excersize.
  69. >Compared to the deep black room, the outside is like a sunny paradise, and you soak up every moment of it.
  70. >Meanwhile, your "patient" is calming down, and starting to think.
  71. ~
  72. "Keep your head, Chrysalis, you've been in worse before," she says to herself, closing her eyes to block out the room.
  73. >With steady breaths, she starts expanding her senses, tasting the feeling and emotions in the air.
  74. >Despite what she heard, there is very little dark emotion here, most of it hers or the guards.
  75. >Fear and panic mainly, on top of her current burning hatred.
  76. >Stretching her senses further, she probes for you, the "mad doctor", but in her current state, getting much beyond the room is impossible.
  77. >What little she gets back though, doesn't feel right for an abandoned asylum, there's too much warmth, too much feeling of home.
  78. >A slam in the distance jolts her attention, and heavy footsteps approach.
  79. >They pause, and the sound of metal on metal scraping rills the air, sending chills down her spine.
  80. >A deep thunk resonates as you stab your knife into the cutting board, Chrysalis gulping in her cage.
  81. ~
  82. "Now how should I start? It's not often I get such fine material to work with, after all," you say quite loudly, pacing about noisily.
  83. "Maybe I should start with a dose of humility. Tie her up, some leg binds and a gag and leave her in a dark alley with a sign saying free fuck holes?"
  84. "Or maybe I should fill her little leg holes with rotten eggs and fish guts. I wonder how long she could handle the smell?"
  85. >Stomping close, you stop on the other side of the door, before you start laughing.
  86. "Oh, that's a perfect thought, but it's too early. I suppose she'll need a break before we can play."
  87. >Opening the door just enough, you poke your head in and smile, staring her down.
  88. "I've got the perfect game for us to play tomorrow, but you'll need to rest up first. Sleep tight, queen, don't let the spiders bite."
  89. >Closing the door, you pause a moment on the other side.
  90. "They're quite painful little guys, and I don't have the antidote for their venom, so it'll hurt all the way through our fun tomorrow."
  91. >Walking back outside, you head to a shop to get your needed things to help bring around Chrysalis tomorrow.
  92. >It's all available in a hardware store, and for about twenty bits, you have everything you need.
  93. >Hopefully it works, she's proven to be quite hard headed so far.
  94. >Most unicorns would become snivelling messes at the threat of their horn being broken, especially when it is potentially moments away from being broken.
  95. >She was shaken, but not stopped, as she retorted with a bite to your hand.
  96. >A moments thought stops your walking though.
  97. "How am I going to get her outside and set up?"
  98. >Diverting your path, you head towards the castle to see if Celestia knows of anything that could help.
  99. >Getting in to see her is easy, though you do still have to wait for a gap, but within the hour, you're sitting with her in her break room, sipping fresh hot tea.
  100. >"So what brings you here, Anon? Chrysalis driven you out already?"
  101. "Nah, in fact, its the opposite. She's probably scared out of her wits right now. What I need right now is something I can give her to make her sleep while I move her around. I can't have her struggling or I may hurt her unnecessarily."
  102. >"Something to make her sleep? What are you planning?"
  103. "Nothing inappropriate, it would just be far too hard to get her into what I need if she was struggling."
  104. >"Are you sure you can make her good though, after having seen her?"
  105. >Taking a sip of tea, you exhale slowly and sit back.
  106. "Give me one month. If I can't do it in that time, we're probably going to have to have her executed. I'll do it myself, if you wish."
  107. >"I'd never force you to do that, Anon, we have ponies who would do it willingly."
  108. "I find that hard to believe, you ponies are so friendly and kind."
  109. >"There are oddities, but anyways, I'll have the apothecary whip something up for you and have it over there by tonight."
  110. "Thanks Celestia, I just hope this works before I have to use anything serious."
  111. >"As do I, but in the end, she either becomes good, or ends up dead, so go as far as you feel comfortable going."
  112. "If that's the case, could I get a few other things from you? I'm not sure how well I'd be able to get it in time."
  113. >"Of course, what can I help you with."
  114. >Whispering your requests, you see her blush and nod.
  115. >"I'll see what I can do, though it is a strange request."
  116. "I know, sorry to put this on you, but if anyone can do it, the princess can."
  117. >"And it seems you are the only one that may be able to turn her. Lets both do our best in hopes of a peaceful end to this."
  118. "Agreed. I hope to have good news for you soon," you say, rising from your seat, "Farewell, I shouldn't leave my charge so peaceful for too long."
  119. >Grabbing a few extra supplies on your way back home, you get to work setting up everything for tomorrow.
  120. >Everything is ready by around dinner time, and to keep her on edge, you cut a small slice of very bloody meat and take it to her back room.
  121. "Ring ring, dinner time," you say, throwing the meat at her face.
  122. >Her reaction is one of shock as the flesh smacks right on target, and she scurries back as it falls, the scent of blood reaching her nose.
  123. "Eat up, that's all you're gonna get tonight."
  124. >Walking out, you prepare your dinner as normal, eat, and get set to relax for the night.
  125. >Seven rolls around, and there is a knock at the door.
  126. >Going to answer, you find several guards with a wagon behind them.
  127. >"We're here to deliver your order, courtesy of Celestia."
  128. "Ah perfect, thank you."
  129. >From the wagon they bring a insulated box, a series of packets with a note attached, and somewhat surprisingly, a decent sized metal barrel.
  130. >"Everypony worked hard to contribute for that, make sure she enjoys it," the guard says, motioning to the barrel.
  131. "I'm sure she will. Thanks again."
  132. >With a nod, the guards head out again, and you move everything to where it needs to be.
  133. >Tomorrow will be one interesting day.
  134. >For tonight though, it's time to mentally prepare for it.
  135. >It's not every day you try to torture the evil from someone.
  136. >Hell, just torturing someone in general is kinda out there.
  137. "Gonna need a few stiff drinks tonight, I think."
  138. ~
  139. >In the cage, Chrysalis takes deep breaths, trying to avoid letting panic set in.
  140. "I can't let him win, I won't let him break me."
  141. >Focusing like earlier, she seeks the emotions around, looking for something that might help, considering her magic is nullified.
  142. >Again, it feels like a house, happiness and safety drifting around.
  143. >No fear or anger, like she expected.
  144. >Something else comes into her senses, something alien.
  145. >A huge ball of emotions, not following any of the laws of alignment.
  146. >Polar opposites woven tightly with eachother, other unrelated emotions tied in.
  147. >Nothing like anything she's ever felt before.
  148. >And on a level she's never felt before.
  149. >Enough untapped hatred to kill a hive, and yet enough love to sustain one for years if managed safely.
  150. >On top of everything else, A deep vein of destructive rage, buried inside the others.
  151. >A vein strong enough to make her actually fear for her life.
  152. >Sleep claims you before long, but to her, locked in the dark, time has no meaning.
  153. >Her entire being is focused on you, and thinking of a way out.
  154. >There are none.
  155. ~
  156. >Coming in in the morning to check on her, she's barely there, looking sleep deprived and nodding off till you walk in when she wakes with a start.
  157. "Come now, I told you to get lots of rest, or it wasn't gonna be as fun playing today..."
  158. "Oh well," you say with a sigh, "I'll get breakfast, and we'll have fun after."
  159. >Leaving without so much as a second glance at her, you head prep your breakfast and a bowl of water for her.
  160. >Adding your special ingredient, you mix it clear, and leave it while you eat.
  161. >When done with breakfast, you take her bowl of water, and head to her private room.
  162. "Hey, little Chryssy, I got some water for you. I know you don't need food, but if you don't drink, we'll only have a few days to play before you keel over."
  163. >"Why should I trust you?"
  164. "Because I'm the only thing between you and a swift execution right now. Remember that, and I'm sure you'll see things my way. Also, we'll get plenty more days of fun, too."
  165. >Setting the bowl down and sliding it through a specially made slot, you leave her to drink while you prepare your implements.
  166. >Half an hour later, everything is ready, and you walk back to her room to find her fast asleep.
  167. >All according to plan, so after some poking and prodding to make sure she's asleep, you unlock her cage and haul her outside.
  168. >Last night, you set up a few stone blocks underground, with only a few chains extending above the earth.
  169. >Laying her above the blocks, you lock the chains through her hooves, limiting them to only tiny movements.
  170. >With her locked down, you grab your implements of change and sit down on your lawnchair to relax in the mean time.
  171. >And the longer she sleeps, the worse one part of this lesson gets.
  172. >Time ticks by, and before long, you notice her starting to stir.
  173. "Rise and shine, little lady, it's a bright and sunny day today, and I'm raring to play."
  174. >The outside in her view, she rapidly scrambles to her hooves, noticing the chains in the process.
  175. "And I figure we should start out today with an important lesson. You're free to leave though, if you don't think it's important."
  176. >She struggles in her chains, the now warm metal scraping in her holes uncomfortably.
  177. "You're going to stay? Oh good, you're learning already. Now, open your mouth," you say, bouncing a water balloon up and down in your hand.
  178. >She doesn't respond, her mouth clamped shut and her eyes staring death at you.
  179. "No? Alrighty then," you shrug, before stepping over and sitting on her back, making her legs buckle till your feet are holding yourself up.
  180. >Her horn lashes back at you, but with your free hand, you grab it and tilt, forcing her neck into a bad position.
  181. "Now you will listen, you little bug, I'm doing this for you. You're alive because of me. I OWN you. Now you will open your mouth, or I'll start on the harsher part of this lesson."
  182. >Again, her mouth stays shut, and you just shrug.
  183. >Releasing her horn, you pull a small object from a pocket, a thumb sized spiked chunk of yellow, all the spikes pointed in the same direction.
  184. "Since you won't open your mouth, I'll just start at the other end.
  185. >In a single motion, you swing your hand down and shove the barbed chunk of ginger deep inside her anus, the spikes holding it deep in.
  186. >Bracing her ribs with your legs, you don't let her fall as proverbial fire sears her rear.
  187. >Mouth opening in a scream, you take the opportunity to shove the balloon into her mouth, which quickly pops on her teeth, releasing it's foul payload.
  188. >A full cups worth of stallion semen mixed with bitter coffee grounds and smelling salts for good measure.
  189. "Remember this moment, Chrysalis. This is the choice you face. The everburning fires of Tartarus, or bitter defeat that leads to acceptance."
  190. >She gags and sputters, the foul liquid coming out of her nostrils due to the sheer volume that entered her mouth.
  191. "But remember this as well. That bitter taste will fade, things will become normal, though only if the other side doesn't come."
  192. "I'm the only thing that can get rid of those flames, the only one who can save you from unending punishment."
  193. "Now what do you want? I want you to think. The flames or bitter defeat but acceptance?"
  194. >Letting go with your legs, she crashes to the ground, writhing in pain as her rear end clenches and tries to expel the painful intruder.
  195. >Several spare balloons are ready, depending on how she acts, as well as a water gun filled with it's own special contents in case she gets snippy.
  196. >You can see the agony the ginger spike is causing her, her legs buckling every time she gets some traction to stand.
  197. >Being chained to the ground doesn't help much either, so you sit back, watch and listen.
  198. >For someone in her position, she certainly has a lot of fight, but it won't last long.
  199. >Speaking of not lasting long, her mouth seems to have cleared a bit, so with a quick toss, you land another loaded balloon on her face, coating it in the murky liquid.
  200. "Now what do you say, Chryssy, You willing to give?"
  201. >"Buck you," she spits out, quite literally, as a wad of blackish goo goes flying from her mouth as she says it.
  202. >Shaking your head, you pump up your water gun, before aiming it at her.
  203. "That wasn't a very nice answer, Chrysalis, not nice at all."
  204. >Aiming at her face, you pull the trigger, a stream of blood shooting from the gun.
  205. >She visibly recoils from it as it strikes her, though with anchored hooves and burning ginger, she gets almost nothing accomplished.
  206. >Looking back at the gun, you take on a pensive look as you pump it back up.
  207. "You know, I heard this blood was from changeling prisoners and those killed during your little assault. I suppose it fits, this blood was on your hooves from the moment you decided to attack."
  208. >Shooting her with it again, you can see she is focused on what you are saying, though she is still avidly attempting to expel the intruder in her rear and the foul taste from her mouth.
  209. "How many changelings do you think died? Tens? Hundreds? There haven't been any reported casualties on the pony side, but I've seen lots of changeling bodies. All because of your stupid, evil little plan."
  210. "What would have happened if you were friendly? I'm sure you and Celestia could have come to an agreement, saved all those lives."
  211. "Now, what do you think?"
  212. >"I think you..."
  213. >She's cut off as she inhales sharply, her body still in a serious panic.
  214. >A bell rings, your doorbell to be specific, and you rise, setting the water gun aside.
  215. "It seems I have a guest. Now do be good, and think on what I've said. I'd really hate to use plan B."
  216. >Walking around to the front of the building, you are surprised to find Celestia there.
  217. >"Anonymous, how goes your plan? I found myself growing curious last night as to what you planned on doing, and decided to come visit."
  218. "It'll take a bit to work, but the base is set. Please, though, come in, I'll prepare tea."
  219. >Following you inside, she takes her normal spot on your couch as you boil water.
  220. >"So, where is our friend right now? Would me visiting her interfere with your plans?"
  221. "She's out back, and while I doubt it would interfere, I'll have to explain some things first."
  222. >As you set down a tray of cookies, she lifts one up, looking at you.
  223. >"Out back? Is that safe?"
  224. "Oh yes, she's not going anywhere right now. I doubt she could even move much if she wasn't chained down."
  225. >An eyebrow is quirked, inquiring for more.
  226. "Well, in brief, this stage is going to set a series of truths, and with these, if or when I break her bad side, they'll set her right straight."
  227. "She's currently chained to some stone blocks in the ground through holes in her hooves, so unless she can pull eighty pounds of weight from the ground and run away with that, she's not going anywhere."
  228. >"True, but I wouldn't put such a feat past her."
  229. "Except you're not factoring in the fact she has a large chunk of ginger lodged in her rear in such a way as she can't expell it herself."
  230. >"Why? What purpose could that serve save torture?"
  231. "Before I explain, out of curiosity, how did you manage to get hold of a barrel of stallion cum anyways?"
  232. >There's a bit of pink in her cheeks as she replies, but a trace of confidence too as she says, "Well, I told Shining of your request, and between the two of us, we created a fake "Mare" that could be used to gather sperm. Then he spread the word that we were looking for some stallions to donate to be used on Chrysalis, and well, we wound up with a full barrels worth. The blood is magically synthesised, just like you asked."
  233. "Impressive. I doubt I'll be able to use it all, but right now, I'm using it for the other part of why I've gingered her."
  234. "You see, at this point, she has two options, deal with defeat accept it and then become good, or be killed and have her soul sent to tartarus."
  235. "Now the ginger in her represents the eternal suffering she will have to deal with in tartarus, while what I stuck in her mouth represents her defeat. It's bitter, foul and it sucks, but it will fade with time."
  236. >"And what, may I ask, is this foul concoction?"
  237. "A little mixture comprising mainly of stallion sperm from the barrel, but with a few extra nasties to make sure it's not something that could be liked."
  238. >Your guest looks at you a little solemnly, and says, "I'm not sure if this is right, Anon, it's changing you too."
  239. "Far from it, Celestia," you say before leaning close, "Between you and me, I hate every second of this. What I would hate more though, is to see her killed needlessly. I can stand to do this just for that."
  240. "I don't plan on actually hurting her, though she's done that to herself because of this."
  241. >Holding up your bandaged hand, Celestia nods with closed eyes.
  242. >"Only the first?"
  243. "Yeah, I'd hate to see what the stronger ones are like, after seeing her scream from that first one."
  244. >"They are very bad, gathered from some of the most dangerous and toxic creatures from across Equestria."
  245. >"But on to better thoughts, that little guard thing was a great boon for morale, since either way it turns out, they feel like they've had their revenge."
  246. "Good. I'd rather not have anyone interfere with my plans, since they're very reliant on everything going right."
  247. >"I do have a reason for visiting though, beyond checking on Chrysalis, you see..."
  248. ~
  249. >Fire burning in her rear, foul taste in her mouth, Chrysalis stuggles against her binds, seeking any sort of relief.
  250. >Gagging and clenching her throat, she vomits a glob of green goo that cleans her mouth out for the most part.
  251. >Her breathing still comes in ragged gasps, but now she doesn't have to deal with the taste and smell anymore.
  252. >Every attempt to expell the ginger spike has proved futile, but the burning has numbed her a little.
  253. "Curse him, curse his taunts, curse his evil mind, and curse Celestia for letting him do this."
  254. >In a surge of anger and fortitude, she forces herself upright into standing, and she finds she can see through a window.
  255. >Inside, she sees the cause of her torment chatting away as if he isn't torturing you.
  256. >Or maybe they're not as happy as they seem...
  257. >Concetrating all her will past the burning ginger, she stretches her senses into the building, where the two sets of emotions lie.
  258. >Strangely to her, both feel the same on the surface, a mixture of sadness, caring and happiness, but past that, they're like night and day.
  259. >Celestia is a calm, collected group of linked emotions, almost forming a rainbow, while you are as you were yesterday, night and day clashing in a twisting knot.
  260. >Still, they must be discussing her, she thinks, and if they feel like that, they don't want to do this.
  261. "That damned creature, acting all high and mighty. When I'm free of these rings, I swear I will break him."
  262. >A muscular contraction in her rear causes a new wave of flames, and her legs buckle again and she hits the ground.
  263. >Laughter comes from the fence, and turning her head, she sees a pair of guards laughing.
  264. >"Hey, Queenie, you want a taste of the good stuff fresh from the source?" one calls out, wiggling his dick through the gate.
  265. >Dry heaving, she bares her fangs at him, when there is the sound of the front door opening, and he immediately backs down.
  266. >Celestia steps into view, the mad creature behind her, and the two approach her.
  267. ~
  268. "I'm back, little Chryssy, are you gonna say Hi to the princess? She is the one who gave you to me, after all, so you should thank her as well."
  269. >Instead of snapping back, her response actually surprises you a bit.
  270. >"I'm sorry Princess, Please let me out," she says in a weak, pitiable tone.
  271. >It takes Celestia by surprise, and she turns to you.
  272. >Stepping back with her a bit, she whispers, "Should we? She does seem sorry, and after what you've done, I wouldn't be surprised if she's turned."
  273. "I'm not so sure. I'll give her a few tests, and let you know tomorrow. Seem fair?"
  274. >"She is your project, you have final say, Anon."
  275. >Going to Chrysalis, you pat her head and Celestia turns to the exit.
  276. >"Don't go, Princess, save me from him princess."
  277. "Don't be sad, Chrysalis, if you're good, you'll be free and joining normal society in no time. I'll even take away the flames of tartarus if you do the right thing."
  278. >With Celestia out of view, and the hope of turning her with it, she turns to you, and nods, keeping her eyes downcast.
  279. "Good, now just wait here a moment, I have to get something."
  280. >Dissapearing inside your house, you get a glass and fill it near full from the barrel of cum.
  281. >Setting it on a side table outside, you start unscrewing the tank to your water gun, before letting some of the contents mix into the glass.
  282. >The red and white don't mix, so the glass is filled with a twisted, swirling mixture you bring in front of Chysalis.
  283. "You know what this is, don't you? If you drink this, you understand what path your taking."
  284. >She nods again meekly, not meeting your own eyes.
  285. >Setting the glass down, you dig a key from your pocket and unlock one of her front legs.
  286. >You still don't get how these ponies hold things with hooves, but she manages to sit up and with her free hoof, lift the glass to her mouth.
  287. >It hovers there as she takes deep breaths, staring into the liquids.
  288. ~
  289. >Seconds tick into minutes as she stare at the glass, preparing herself for this.
  290. >To resort to canibalism, just to fool you.
  291. >To get her freedom.
  292. 'I can do this, this creature doesn't want to hurt me, he wants me to be good,' She thinks to herself.
  293. >With that thought locked in her mind, she lets out her breath and starts drinking.
  294. ~
  295. >Gulp by gulp, the glass slowly empties as she drinks, her decision pouring down her throat.
  296. >Finishing with a gasp, she takes deep breaths while you step behind her.
  297. "Well, now for my part. Try and relax."
  298. >Grabbing the fishing line you tied around the ginger during prep, you strech her anus slightly and slowly pull the chunk out.
  299. >She's biting her hoof to keep from screaming, as the ginger must be scraping across untouched parts.
  300. >Slowly it comes out, and as the last little barb releases its grip, her sphincter clenches shut.
  301. "Remember now," you say, dangling the dirty chunk of ginger in front of her, "the flames you fear will always be close, but the better you are, the further they get."
  302. "Now, rest a moment, I'll get you some water."
  303. >Heading inside, you prepare another dose of the sleep meds inside a glass and take a moment to catch your breath.
  304. >Something feels wrong.
  305. >This is too easy.
  306. >Just an hour ago she was cursing your name
  307. >It's like she could tell what you were thinking.
  308. >Or feeling...
  309. "Fuck!" you exclaim, slamming a hand down on the counter.
  310. >She has known!
  311. >She can eat, and thereby feel nearby emotions.
  312. >Clenching a fist, you take slow, deliberate breaths to calm yourself.
  313. "No, gotta keep calm. Don't let her know anything has changed. Maybe this can be saved."
  314. >Feeling under control again, you walk back out with a smile and set the glass down for her.
  315. "A reward for your first step."
  316. >Back in the comfort of your seat, you watch her drink the water from the corner of your eye as you read a book.
  317. >Shortly after, she nods off, resting her head on her free hoof.
  318. >It's pretty cute cute, except for the blood and other fluids all over her.
  319. >With her out cold, you unlock her and take her to your shower.
  320. >No point in breaking the illusion of her getting rewarded, after all.
  321. >Of course, you don't do a perfect job, just a quick rinse clean before shoving a spare cushion in her cage and sticking her on top.
  322. >After locking the cage, you refill the bowl of water from this morning.
  323. >With clean water, you don't need her asleep again.
  324. "Now we just have to see how screwed this all is."
  325. ~Five days later~
  326. "This is absurd!" you yell, storming around the room, Celestia watching you.
  327. >"Its like I said, Anon, pretty much nobody can handle her, let alone get close to making her evil side break.
  328. "I know, I just can't believe such a stupid little thing destroyed all my plans. I've treated this like a challenge to me, and I don't want to kill her, but it feels like this is what she's inadvertantly aiming at."
  329. >"Don't be so hard on yourself Anon, you've dealt with her longer than anyone else has."
  330. >Letting out a sigh, you flop down on Celestia's couch, much the same as she has done before on yours.
  331. >"I can have her taken back any time you want Anon," Celestia says, laying a wing on your shoulder.
  332. >Pressing your palm to your forhead, you massage your temples while you think.
  333. "I have one more idea. Just like I planned, I'll use the rest of the month. This will either work, or she'll likely die, but I think its our last chance. In fact, it might work better because of the failure so far..."
  334. >"You're sure about this. This whole time, you've gotten... strange."
  335. "I'm sorry about that, Celestia, I've gotten too invested in the process. With this, I'll fix it though, I plan on barely being involved at all for this last part. I just need your help with one thing..."
  336. >Together, the two of you make the hopefully last piece to the puzzle that is fixing Chrysalis.
  337. >It takes some time, but before it gets too late, you have it done, and it's time for home.
  338. >"I pray this works, Anonymous, and do not feel hard upon yourself. Your intentions in this are pure, though your methods are barbaric."
  339. "The path to destruction is paved with good intentions..." you say, staring at the sky, "But I suppose if anyone can do it, a violent and barbaric species like human could do it."
  340. >"If you ever feel yourself slip down that path, Anon, I'll be here to fix you up. Don't you worry."
  341. >Giving a smile and a salute, you turn and walk down the path to home.
  342. "Just trust me with one thing, Celestia. Unless I say so, try and keep from coming over."
  343. >"I understand. Take care."
  344. >The walk home is slow, you're in no rush to risk Chrysalis's life.
  345. >Still, walking slow will only delays it so long, and soon you're at your door.
  346. >Inside, you set the object down and go about writing a note for outside.
  347. >"Entry prohibited under penalty of law."
  348. >Not really, but there are few ponies who would question it.
  349. >Hooking it to your fence gate, you go through your evening routine, pulling out an empty notebook to record the progress of this day to day.
  350. "It all starts tomorrow, huh?" you say, flopping down on your bed, "Well, lets see how long it takes."
  351. ~
  352. >The apparatus in hand, you go over it one last time to make sure everything's in working order.
  353. >With no point in even hiding it anymore, you flick the light on as you enter "her" room.
  354. "Morning, Chrysalis, it's time for the final test, I guess."
  355. >She looks at you with a mixture of confusion and restrained excitement.
  356. "Horn up," you order, and she pokes her horn through the top of the cage, letting you grab it.
  357. >She's listened to most basic commands, and you've used this to get into the cage while she's awake.
  358. >Grabbing the horn, you hold it in such a way that it would injure you if she pulled and the poison would immobilize her after.
  359. >She knew this too, which is why she doesn't move an inch as you unlock the cage.
  360. >Letting go, you swing the cage open, and she goes to the stand till you rest a hand on her head.
  361. "Hold still, this'll just take a second."
  362. >There's no resistance as you clamp the device, a collar, around her neck.
  363. >"What's this for?"
  364. "You'll understand soon."
  365. >Passing your hand over the lock, the magic starts and you can see her breath catch in her throat.
  366. >It returns swiftly though, in the form of short quick gasps as you lock the cage again.
  367. >"I... I can't eat. What is this for?"
  368. "That's the point. All you need to do is convince me to let you eat. You have fifteen days, and I'll give you a small meal on day five and ten, just to keep you from being too weak."
  369. >"But... but I am good, I haven't done anything wrong, and..."
  370. "If you were good, you wouldn't need to affirm that. you'd know what you've been doing so far is right. And besides, your acting is worst than most B-movies from home, it's so obvious you're faking."
  371. >Her lips curl into a snarl and she rams against the cage.
  372. >"You stupid creature, you were supposed to let me go! You felt for me, you don't want me to die. Why can't you just let me go?"
  373. "Because I keep my word. I promised I'd let you go if you became good, and from what I can see, you haven't changed a bit."
  374. "Think hard on what you want to do now. At the end of this, if you haven't changed enough to meet my standard, you will be executed."
  375. >Leaving the room, you close the door and walk to your couch, no longer having to contain your emotions as you drop into it.
  376. "So I was right, she hasn't changed," you sigh, sinking into the comfort of the seat, "that means this is going to take more than a few days for sure."
  377. >Getting a bottle of scotch from your drinks cupboard, you pour yourself some, just enough to cut the tension and let you relax for the evening.
  378. >Pulling out the journal, you turn to day 1.
  379. "Day 1 went about how I expected. Shock and more feigned innocence to start, but as soon as I called her bluff, her guise dropped and she was pissed."
  380. "She has been quiet since though, scheming, most likely."
  381. "Odds she's good: 0% She just broke her "good character". There's no chance she's faking evil."
  382. >The book goes back in place and with your day done, you head to bed.
  383. ~
  384. "Day 2: She has shouted, yelled, cursed, pleaded and just about every other form of loud communication possible all day."
  385. "I think she wants someone else to come and set her free."
  386. "Thankfully the room is sound dampening, so I could get some peace and quiet outside.
  387. "Odds she's good: 0% Not a chance."
  388. ~
  389. "Day 3: It was quiet today. Even when I went in and checked on her and replaced her water, she didn't utter a single thing."
  390. "She barely even looked at me."
  391. "I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but her hunger must be getting to her by now."
  392. "The first feeding will likely be the big test."
  393. "Odds she's good: 5% Doesn't seem likely, but it isn't entirely out of the question."
  394. ~
  395. "Day 4: Another day of silence."
  396. "She's planning something."
  397. "Her water's empty, which isn't much of a surprise, but there's signs of tampering around the cage."
  398. "Nothing to be directly worried about, you had the cage made solid."
  399. "Odds she's good: 2% Things are looking even less likely she's good."
  400. ~
  401. >Standing outside the door to the back room, you prepare yourself for whatever could possibly happen today.
  402. >She's been far too quiet, given her situation.
  403. >Entering the room, you see she's sitting up in the middle of the cage, obviously waiting quietly for you.
  404. "Come forward, It's time for food," you say, kneeling down in front of the cage.
  405. >You get no response, she doesn't even so much as blink an eye at you, so with a huff, you dig out the key and unlock the cage.
  406. >Still no response, though her head does turn to follow you.
  407. >Opening the gate and reaching in, you are near face to face with her as you rap the magical sensor to disable the sealing spell.
  408. >What happens next is a slight blur, all controlled by instinct.
  409. >A huge intake of green energy flows into her mouth and as you go to re-activate the collar, she pushes forward, knocking you back and trying to go over you.
  410. >She doesn't get far though, as one hand grabs the collar and the other spins you to the side, leading you to be pressing down on her while she's stuck on her back.
  411. "Don't even try it. I'm bigger and stronger than you are," you say, starting the collar back up with the hand on her neck.
  412. >As it moves though, she snaps forward, and you press her neck back into the floor with your forearm, partially cutting off her windpipe.
  413. "Now you are going to get back in the cage yourself, or I am going to do it for you. And I'm warning you, I'm rather pissed right now, so you don't want me doing it."
  414. >Easing off her throat, she takes deep gasps, before nodding meekly.
  415. >As you get off, she rolls back to her hooves and slowly creeps into the cage."
  416. >Locking in, you head back to the kitchen to get some scotch.
  417. "It's too early for this crap."
  418. >Still, what must be done must be done, and you get the journal and start to write.
  419. "Day 5: First feeding was eventfull, to say the least."
  420. "She tried being agressive and escaping, as well as eating as much as she could, but it didn't turn out well for her."
  421. "I ended up pinning her and half choking her till she submitted and returned to her cage."
  422. "I'm not going to make the same mistake next time."
  423. "Odds she's good: 0% No question."
  424. ~
  425. "Day 6: She's still quiet, though in better health than day 4."
  426. "Considering how much she must have stuffed herself with, I may have to delay or not feed her on day 10."
  427. "She still seems rather, "perky" you could say."
  428. "Odds she's good: 1% There is a tiny chance she is good, but I doubt it highly."
  429. ~
  430. "Day 7: It seems she's taken to sleeping the day through."
  431. "Not exactly the best idea for her, but who knows."
  432. "She may be reflecting on her past or something."
  433. "Odds she's good: 3% A bit better of a chance than yesterday, but still unlikely as fuck."
  434. ~
  435. "Day 8: Panic seems to have set in for her."
  436. "And not like the day 2 yelling and shouting panic, she's pleading for mercy, offering anything she can."
  437. "Offers included, but were not limited to: Sex, changeling servants, shared rule of the changelings, even offering to be my slave for a time."
  438. "I told her that I would consider her offers, and this seems to have placated her slightly, but she is still frantic."
  439. "Odds she's good: 8% It's a solid step in the right direction, but her offers were wrong for someone who planned on leading a good life after. Who would offer another's life, after all."
  440. ~
  441. "Day 9: Dead silence."
  442. "She seemed asleep when I went in to check, but an eye opened and looked at me hopefully, until I told her I wouldn't accept those offers."
  443. "There was a small spark of hope in her eyes, and while it dimmed after what I said, she still hasn't died inside yet."
  444. "Odds she's good: 15% Something tells me she's seriously reconsidering her life, and is hopeful I'll accept her changes."
  445. ~
  446. >Day ten starts, and figuring earlier is better, you go through your normal morning routine before heading in to feed Chrysalis.
  447. >She's still lying down when you enter, and like yesterday, her eyes open to look at you.
  448. "Good morning Chrysalis, are you going to eat properly this time?" you ask, kneeling before the cage.
  449. >A quiet mumble comes from her, and her eyes drift closed.
  450. "What was that? I couldn't hear what you said."
  451. >"Don't feed me, I don't des..." is all she says, before her eyes shut and she's asleep.
  452. >Sitting back, you question what you just heard.
  453. >She said she didn't deserve to be fed, or at least, that's what you assume.
  454. >Reaching through the bars, you gently nudge her head, but she hardly reacts, little more than an ear twitching.
  455. >Deactivating the spell on the collar takes only a moment, and with your hand held in front of her mouth, you half expect her to start feasting.
  456. >She doesn't though, which leaves you confused as you turn the spell back on.
  457. >Going back to the living room, a small scrap of paper becomes your target as you write up what is basically a "free feeding" coupon.
  458. >It may well be the last part of her test.
  459. >There is still no response from her as you enter to leave the paper in her cage, and on the way out you get her water dish to refill.
  460. >And like the second time, she's still motionless as you bring her water dish back.
  461. >Taking to your favourite chair, you rest to contemplate just what has happened today.
  462. "Day 10: It would have been her second feeding, but she declined."
  463. "At least, I think she did, she fell asleep mid sentence."
  464. "It was still quite a shock."
  465. "I'm not sure if this is a ploy or her actually acting good, but I hope it's a big step in the right direction."
  466. "Odds she's good: 35%, no, 40% I think this may be the turning point."
  467. ~
  468. "Day 11: I'm a little worried."
  469. "Between yesterday and today, all the time's I've checked in on her, she's hardly moved."
  470. "I'm worried she doesn't have enough energy to do anything."
  471. "Her colour has started fading, and she's definitely becoming somewhat emaciated."
  472. "There are 4 days left, but I don't think she'll last that long like this."
  473. "Odds she's good: I don't know, but at least 50%"
  474. ~
  475. >After the past two days, you've decided to check on her frequently, just to make sure you're unlikely to miss an awake moment.
  476. >It's not long before you are rewarded, so to say, and you enter to find her with both eyes open, looking up at you.
  477. >She's in bad shape, her eyes barely seem to be able to stay open, and there's barely a glint of life in them, but behind those eyes, something screams innocent.
  478. >"Could I... may I please have something to eat?" she asks in a weak voice.
  479. >You feel yourself cracking a smile, and you unlock the cage and sit in front of her.
  480. "Of course you can, just not too much. Eating too much after not eating is bad for your body."
  481. >Reaching forward, you disable the spell on her collar, and she starts feeding slowly.
  482. >She eats for barely a few seconds before stopping, resting her head back on the cushion.
  483. "Are you alright?" you ask, gently stoking her head, which nods slightly in response.
  484. "I'm going to move you now, so don't move too much. You're in no state to struggle."
  485. >Another tiny nod, and you carefully pull her cushion out of the cage.
  486. >Lifting it, and her, up, you carry them to your room and set her down at the foot of your bed and cover her with a small blanket.
  487. "Rest and digest now, you've passed your test for now. I'll visit later to feed you again."
  488. >You can almost see a small smile form as her breathing sinks into the steady rhythm of sleep.
  489. >Locking the windows and door on your way out, you continue about your day, almost anxiously awaiting her to say anything more.
  490. >Nearing dinner time, a soft rapping comes from your room, and you unlock the door.
  491. >It opens slowly, and you find Chrysalis there, barely standing.
  492. >Her front legs go down, and you reach to catch her, but she doesn't fall.
  493. >"Thank you for saving me, sir."
  494. "You're welcome," you reply, slightly numb, till you notice her ankles wobble and she falls to the ground.
  495. "Come on, back to bed with you," you say, lifting her around her thin waist and moving her back to the pillow.
  496. >She doesn't move as you carry her, nor does she make a move to leave her cushion.
  497. >Laying the blanket over her, she lays her head down.
  498. "Rest, I'll feed you later. We'll see if you can move around tomorrow."
  499. >She nods and you can see her eyes close, so you close the door again and get to making dinner.
  500. ~
  501. >Resting on the pillow, Chrysalis snuggles into the warm blanket you left her, much better than the cold dungeon cells.
  502. >The hunger that was gnawing away is gone, and she's even out of the cage.
  503. "Being good is nice," she whispers to herself, her mind firmly set.
  504. >Everything she has now, she realizes, came from you.
  505. >Her food and water, her cushion, her warmth.
  506. >Even a sort of freedom came from you.
  507. >All willingly given because she was good.
  508. ~
