  1. >Those eyes.
  2. >You could stare into those yellow eyes all day.
  3. >The rest of her might take getting used to, just as it takes time for her to get used to you.
  4. >But her eyes are and always will be beautiful.
  5. >She smiles as the both of you stare at each other, before darting in to kiss you on the nose.
  6. >She tries to get away, but none escape the grasp of the Thousand Sons!
  7. >You dart forward and plant a kiss of your own on her snout as she flutters around your head.
  8. >Ditzy gasps in surprise as you flash her your best smile, before she breaks into giggling again.
  9. >It's been going on back and forth like this for a while as you get your armor back on.
  10. >She darts in to kiss you on the nose and you grab her as the both of you break into laughter.
  11. >Then the pair of you jump in mild surprise to the sound of six quiet d'awwws behind you and one annoyed harrumph.
  12. >You turn your head and spot your friends staring at you and Ditzy, who's blushing in embarrassment and hiding behind your shoulder.
  13. >Twilight, the owner of the 'harrumph,' speaks up.
  14. >"Are you two finished yet?"
  15.
  16.
  17. >You frown at Twilight as Derpy continues to blush.
  18. "Just about. Is there a reason I need to be suited up?"
  19. >Twilight rolls her eyes.
  20. >"The Princesses want to give Autarch and the last of his people a proper send-off to honor the new treaty. You're supposed to attend along with us."
  21. >She huffs at you in annoyance, and you can't help but feel a little perplexed at her attitude.
  22. >Rarity, surprisingly, breaks the tension.
  23. >"Oh come now, Twilight, dear. Give them some space. They're truly adorable together."
  24. >The purple mare huffs again, but begins to move off, along with Trixie and Rarity, who speaks up as she departs.
  25. >"Besides, one can't help who one falls in love with."
  26. >You might be a bit new in this area, but you weren't dense.
  27. >You feel your teeth clench together as you start after Rarity, but Ditzy puts a hoof on your shoulder and shakes her head.
  28. >AJ and RD both smile up at you and excuse themselves, going after Rarity on their own.
  29. >Fluttershy's almost disappeared in the corner, but eeps and runs the second she spots your expression.
  30. >Leaving you, Derpy, and Pinkie alone.
  31. "What the hell was that?"
  32. >Pinkie shrugs. Her smile is too wide to speak through, and you sigh before walking out of the room after your 'friends'.
  33. >Ditzy wraps her arms around your neck, smiling as you jump at the contact, before kissing you on the cheek again.
  34. >You smile back at her as you follow.
  35. >Whatever was eating at Twilight, you'd handle it later.
  36.
  37.
  38. >As you, Ditzy, and Pinkie travel along the Castle hallways after the rest of your friends, you take the time to quiz Pinkie about what's happened while you were out.
  39. >Pinkie bounces happily next to you, humming to herself.
  40. "So...the Necrons? What happened to them?"
  41. >"You mean the black skully guys? Gone. The Elements must've got them."
  42. "What about Lyra and her cultists?"
  43. >Pinkie shrugs, a remarkable accomplishment considering she's a bouncing quadruped.
  44. >"All the crazy ponies went un-crazy after Autarch took care of Farseer. Lyra took a vacation, as far as anyp0ny knows."
  45. "And this treaty nonsense?"
  46. >Ditzy speaks up from next to your ear, flapping her wings to get your attention.
  47. >"Not really nonsense, honey muffin. The Princess and Autarch worked it out while you were...asleep. All the Eldar are leaving through that funny gate of theirs, and the Autarch promised to....keep Equestria under his...makeplanet? buildhome? craftworld, yeah, his craftworld's protection."
  48. >You glance at her.
  49. "Honey muffin?"
  50. >She falters in the air, her eyes drifting apart as she brings a hoof to her mouth.
  51. >"Does it bother you? I'm sorry, I didn't..."
  52. >You smile at her and chuckle at her discomfort.
  53. "It sounds like a wonderful nickname, Ditzy."
  54. >She smiles back and playfully bats you on the shoulder, causing a fierce stinging on contact.
  55. >Your smile doesn't waver as all three of you make your way to the Royal Court, where Luna and the rest of your friends await.
  56.
  57.
  58. >As you, Ditzy, and Pinkie make your way into the Court, you notice Luna and Twilight send a pair of stinkeyes your way.
  59. >You shrug at them, while Ditzy blushes and flys a few inches farther apart from you.
  60. >Luna raises an eyebrow while Twilight gives another 'harrumph.'
  61. >You ignore both of them and take up a position next to Twilight, where they have left a place for you.
  62. >You look out and notice the ponies lining the walls, as well as a small host of Eldar warriors holding ceremonial lances.
  63. >You whisper to Twilight.
  64. "So how's this thing supposed to go, and when can we leave?"
  65. >"Luna will just say a few words, and Princess Celestia and the Autarch teleport in, and the Autarch leaves through that."
  66. >She points a purple hoof at the quickly erected webway gate in the door's entrance.
  67. >Just then, Luna begins to speak up.
  68. >"CITIZENS OF EQUESTRIA! ELDAR OF CRAFTWORLD VARANTHA! YOU ARE INVITED HERE TODAY TO WITNESS THE JOINING AND PARTING OF OUR TWO CULTURES! BOUND TOGETHER IN FORGIVENESS AND FRIENDSHIP, WE WILL FACE THE FUTURE AS ALLIES."
  69. >She waves a hoof at the empty space on the throne next to her, where Celestia and the Autarch are supposed to appear.
  70. >Nothing happens.
  71.
  72.
  73. >Your sword is already in your hand, and you pat yourself on the back for remembering to bring the blade with you.
  74. >You just KNEW the Eldar would try some treachery.
  75. >Even as you watch, they band together, back to back, as they face the throne.
  76. >Luna questions them immediately.
  77. >"Eldar! What is the meaning of this!?"
  78. >One of the Eldar speaks up, annoyed.
  79. >"This is not our doing, animal. You and your mon'keigh ally have kidnapped our leader!"
  80. >Luna bristles.
  81. >"That's nonsense! Why would we do such a thi-"
  82. >The Eldar cuts her off, clearly furious.
  83. >"Return the Autarch to us, animal, or we will wage war on your world once again. And we shall not be so forgiving as we once were."
  84. >You raise your sword in anger, and Luna's wing lashes out, tapping you on the arm as she gives you an exasperated glare.
  85. >"Go find our sister, please, Anonymous. If she IS in danger, I trust you to handle it."
  86. "Of course, Luna. But I urge you not to trust these aliens. This stinks of an Eldar ruse."
  87. >Luna nods, before turning to address the Eldar entourage to keep everything under control.
  88. >You turn to go, and smile as you watch Ditzy make her way forward.
  89. >Your smile drops as Twilight Sparkle teleports over to your side, glaring at Ditzy.
  90. >"Ooooh no, none of that. I'm not letting you get the princess p0nynapped because you can't focus. Derpy, stay here. Anon, you're taking me with you."
  91. >You glare down at Twilight, already angry beyond measure.
  92. "We don't have time for thi-"
  93. >"No, we don't. And that's why I'm going with you and not her."
  94. >You continue to glare at her before whirling away and stomping down the hallway.
  95.
  96.
  97. >You and Twilight race down the halls as you put your helmet on and talk to Twilight.
  98. "Twilight, normally I would go about this patiently and indirectly, but since you have forced me to leave my loved one in a room full of hostile xenos, I can only ask...."
  99. >You pause as your helmet's hermetic seals activate.
  100. "WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?"
  101. >Your vehemence surprised even you. It was new to care about something this much.
  102. >Twilight falters as she runs, but glares back up at you.
  103. >"That's my mentor that's missing! She could be dead, or being tortured, or worse! I know how sadistic Eldar can be! If you're distracted, and you and Celestia get hurt, then what? Hmmm!?"
  104. >Her words add fire to your anger, but you calm yourself down as you realize that she is correct.
  105. >And then she mutters something.
  106. >"What happened to, 'I can't be physically attracted to a pony?'"
  107. >You slide to a stop, annoyed that Luna shared that bit of information and annoyed at Twilight for taking it this far.
  108. >She turns back to berate you, but stops as you speak to her.
  109. "Nothing about that has changed, Twilight."
  110. >She scoffs.
  111. >"Yeah, you and Derpy were real plato-"
  112. "I'm serious. I love her, yes, and she loves me. But we don't....we are not attracted to each other by our bodies. That wouldn't eve....there's no way that could work. I could hurt her."
  113. >Twilight's gaze grows confused.
  114. >"Then why...?"
  115. "Because I love her. I do not need to mate with her to feel the way I do."
  116. >Twilight opens her mouth to object, but the pair of you jump as you hear a scream echo down the hallway.
  117. >"That sounds like Princess Celestia! We have to hurry!"
  118. >She sprints off, and you march after her.
  119.
  120. Autarch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0--nOQ0nXk
  121. >Everything was going according to plan.
  122. >If you were your traitor brother, you'd almost call it destiny.
  123. >You lean back in the bed, hands behind your head, as you stare up at the ceiling.
  124. >A white hoof traces it's way lazily over your bare chest as you lay there.
  125. >"That was.....that was incredible..."
  126. >You turn your head and look at Celestia, cuddled up next to you in the bed.
  127. >She insisted you leave the helmet on.
  128. >She grins as she notices your attention turn to her.
  129. >"Ready for round 12?"
  130. "Of course, my bright Sun."
  131. >She giggles at the name and leans in, her wings twitching, before you speak again.
  132. "This time, let us try something...different."
  133. >She looks at you in confusion before you rise, taking her in your arms...
  134. >...and gently pushing her against the wall, her snout to your helmet.
  135. >She gasps, her face reddening.
  136. >"Au...Autarch...this is..."
  137. "Shhhh."
  138. >You lean in, ready, when you hear the door bang open.
  139. >"We're here to save you pRINCESS CELESTIA!?"
  140. >"Tw-Twilight!?"
  141. >You turn your head to look over your bare shoulder, annoyed.
  142. >"Twilight, what is i-AAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUURRRRGH!"
  143. "...............Afternoon, Mon'keigh."
  144.
  145.
  146. >Celestia's wings spring up, presumably to give you modesty, but you've been with her enough to know better.
  147. >You turn around and eye her.
  148. "Oh...you naughty animal, you."
  149. >Her eyes glaze a bit before she shakes her head.
  150. >"Stop that! Not in front of them!"
  151. "Your lips say no, my Sun, but your mind and body say different."
  152. >You hear another muffled "AAAAAUUUUUURGH," and turn around to the sight of the mon'keigh warrior slamming his head into the wall.
  153. >The purple pony is simply twitching and staring. You're fairly certain she's gone into shock.
  154. >You turn back to Celestia.
  155. "They can watch. I know you'd like that."
  156. >"We...I mean we can-"
  157. >You still her interruptions by tracing a wing with your fingers, and Celestia moans.
  158. >"OH TZEENTCH DAMN MY SENSES, WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS!?"
  159. >Celestia jumps again, before fixing you with a stern gaze.
  160. >"We can't. Not now. I'm afraid the jig's up, my love. You have to go home."
  161. "If I must, my Sun."
  162. >You sigh, disappointed, before gently releasing Celestia and turning to face the mon'keigh and the purple horse.
  163. >Treating them to the awe-inspiring sight of your fully battle ready Fire Pike.
  164. >The purple horse faints, and the mon'keigh lifts a hand to his helmet and sears the viewing ports shut with a burst of warpfire to his own skull.
  165. >You shrug.
  166. >Obviously the superiority of the Eldar form is too much for them.
  167. "Now where did I put my armor..."
  168.
  169. Anonymous' Perspective
  170. >Blessed, blessed darkness.
  171. >You have bore witness to things this day more horrid than the darkest depths of the Warp.
  172. >It took every ounce of willpower not to tear your own eyes out.
  173. >But the darkness didn't stop the SOUNDS.
  174. >Sweet Tzeentch, the sounds!
  175. >You hear another round of short, quiet gasping before Celestia coughs and speaks up.
  176. >"Erm...Anonymous...I'll...I'll take care of Twilight...and get ready for the ceremony...you and Autarch...erm.."
  177. "OK."
  178. >You turn around, pivoting and praying that you walk headfirst into a wall and snap your neck.
  179. >You hear the quiet padding of booted feet as the Autarch catches up with you, as well as quiet snaps and clicks as he attatches his own armor.
  180. >"I really do not understand your reaction, Mon'keigh."
  181. "Mhm."
  182. >"Have you not seen a creature more beautiful than Tia of the sun? Her hair, that white coat?"
  183. "OK."
  184. >"She is blessed by the Old Ones, a glorious goddess from the distant past..."
  185. "SURE...."
  186. >"And by Isha, that flank! So round, so supple..."
  187. "STOP."
  188. >"And so flexible. I tell you, I have never endured such pleasure as tha-"
  189. "I PROMISE TO TZEENTCH I WILL KILL YOU, EQUESTRIA BE DAMNED."
  190.
  191.
  192. >The Eldar chuckles, and you resist the urge to try slamming him into a wall.
  193. >"Really now, calm yourself, mon'keigh. Such harsh display in the face of love? What of your grey one? She stayed by your side for the full two weeks while Celestia and I were....'negotiating'. Do you not care for her?"
  194. >Deep breaths, Anonymous.
  195. >Deeeeeeep breaths. Mindscrub later, deep breaths now.
  196. "Of course I do, xenos."
  197. >"Then why the reaction? Surely you plan something si-"
  198. "I could hurt her. And we dont...we aren't attracted to each other that way."
  199. >The Eldar falls blissfully silent before speaking up again.
  200. >"You love her, do you not?"
  201. "Yes."
  202. >"Then you should be able to see past what you find distasteful, until it is no longer distasteful at all."
  203. "It's not just a matter of taste. I'd hurt her. Look at me, you imbecilic alien."
  204. >He laughs again.
  205. >"Like the rest of your species, Anonymous, you have much to learn. Form is mutable with the power of the Warp. It's only a matter of will and desire."
  206. >He pauses, mulling over his next sentence.
  207. >"Tia expresses....concern for the two of you. I will only say that when you get past that Ork-like Mon'keigh stubbornness and take her, as Kornous took Isha, things will work out."
  208. >That does not exactly inspire confidence.
  209. "I trust Celestia only half again as much as I trust you."
  210. >The Eldar laughs again.
  211. >"Wise, mon'keigh. Wise. One more thing, though."
  212. "What."
  213. >"You can add sex with ponies to the long list of things the Eldar have mastered before your degenerate race even had the time to try it."
  214. >You stop, perplexed and disgusted, as the Eldar nonchalantly makes his way into the Hall.
  215.
  216.
  217. >The Autarch walt'zed his way into the room, calming his violent entourage with a look, before turning to Luna.
  218. >"I apologize for the delay, Princess. Your sister and I were simply putting some finishing touches on the treaty."
  219. >You take your helmet off, and shake your head very slowly at Luna.
  220. >She takes note of your thousand-yard stare, and nods slowly.
  221. >The Autarch turns to his entourage and gestures for them to finish the ceremony and depart through the Webway.
  222. >Then, with that freakish Eldar speed of his, he grabs your hand and shakes it once.
  223. >"It has been a pleasure, mon'keigh. Although I warn you, you might wish to wash that hand."
  224. >You scream internally, but manage to fix a smile on your face for your friend's benefit.
  225. >Their is a flash of white light as Celestia makes her appearance, along with Twilight Sparkle, who's curled into a fetal position.
  226. >Celestia says a few pleasantries that you're too stunned and horrified to hear, then she turns and bids the Autarch farewell.
  227. >He says a few words of his own, lifts her hoof and gives it a quick peck with his helmet, then turns to depart.
  228. >To your horror, you notice her eyes on his backside the entire way.
  229. >And then you realize he notices, as well.
  230. >Celestia's face is as red as your armor, and the Autarch's shoulders shake in silent mirth as he steps through the Webway.
  231. >The portal closes with a snap, and in a moment, it is gone, along with the last of the Eldar.
  232. >Celestia shakes her head and gives a short speech, before dismissing her Court.
  233. >Then she turns to you.
  234. >"Anonymous, I really didn't want you to-"
  235. "WE AREN'T TALKING ABOUT IT."
  236. >You are a little louder than you intended, and the ponies jump.
  237.
  238.
  239. >You struggle to calm yourself as Pinkie leans in and whispers to you.
  240. >"Pssst....Hey Anon. What happened?"
  241. "Pinkie."
  242. >"Hmmm?"
  243. "I have seen some shit. Shit I will never forget."
  244. >Pinkie stares at you blankly while Ditzy flies over to you and gives you a hug.
  245. >The pain helps you get your thoughts together as she talks.
  246. >"I don't know what happened, honey muffin, but I'm glad you and Twilight got out okay."
  247. >You smile at her and shakily hug her back.
  248. "Thank you, Ditzy. I'll be okay, I promise. A little unending horror can't keep me down."
  249. >Then you look at Celestia's frankly embarrassed face, and at the near-comatose Twilight.
  250. >You sigh through your teeth.
  251. "Celestia."
  252. >"Y-Yes, Anonymous?"
  253. "Could you provide a chariot, so that we can take Twilight home? She looks like she still needs help."
  254. >Celestia's blush deepens, but she nods her head.
  255. >"Of course, Anonymous. And again, I'm s-"
  256. "Not talking about it, I swear to Tzeentch I'll-"
  257. >"Alright, alright, but I truly am so-"
  258. "STOP."
  259. >Your friends are looking back and forth between the two of you, while Luna covers her face with her hoof.
  260. >She's figured it out already.
  261.
  262.
  263. >The chariot arrives rather quickly, and you, Trixie, Ditzy, and Twilight's unconscious body pile in.
  264. >The rest of your friends will make their way back on the train.
  265. >Trixie pesters you endlessly for answers on the way back home, but you ignore her, burying the eldritch horror you witnessed today beneath conversations with Ditzy.
  266. >You drop Twilight off first, with instructions for Spike to keep her safe until she snaps out of it, and for her to call you in the morning.
  267. >Then you escort Ditzy home, like a remembrancer gentleman, giving her a quick kiss goodbye as she heads into her home.
  268. >Then it's just you and Trixie, who's stopped questioning you and is now just looking at you with a worried expression on her face.
  269. >You don't have time for it.
  270. >You'll handle it tomorrow. Right now, you just want....well really you want to be dead, but unconscious will do.
  271. >The royal chariot drops the pair of you off at your red house as the sun begins to go down.
  272. >And you walk inside.
  273. >You lie down on your couch, boots hanging over the side.
  274. >And you go the fuck to sleep.
