L0 = The speaker says that all the facts in the reading are true, but recently experts have decided that the painting is a Rembrandt.
(The prompt tells you to explain how the lecture’s points “answer the specific problems” from the reading. The answer to a problem is a solution. The problems in this case lead to the conclusion that it’s not Rembrandt. The solutions explain why it is a Rembrandt.)
L1 = The fur collar was added later, it wasn’t part of the original.
L2 = Under the added collar, the original has a light colored collar, which correctly reflects light.
L3 = The panel was expanded with extra pieces to make it bigger. The original is on a single piece, from the same tree as the panel for another Rembrandt.

- 100 years after Rembrandt painted the original, someone else tried to make the painting more valuable. They painted a luxurious dark collar over the original light one, and they expanded the wood of the painting. This explains all three problems from the text.
