Sign Up Date: April 3-10 2013. Beta testers will be chosen randomly.
Start Date: April 24 2013
End Date: May 8 2013
Available Fields: Normal Forest, Normal Caves
Available Emergency Quests: City (Urban Recovery)
Level Cap: 20
- Save data will not be carried over to the Open Beta.
- HU/RA/FO only
- No Subclassing.
- No Wind or Dark Techs
- No AC Scratch
- Cannot purchase AC.
- Free My Room and My Shop access.
- 1,000 AC will be credited to each player to test purchasing various features (Mags, Skill Trees, etc). This will not carry over to Open Beta.
- Team Room and additional Team features are not included in the Closed Beta.
- Balance/Gameplay/Engine changes made to the game will apply (i.e. Reduced Meseta from selling items)

Campaigns:

- Participate in Closed Beta: Rappy Doll and 1,000 FUN Ticket
- Defeat Dark Ragne: Rappy Plate, 500 FUN Ticket
- Reach Level 10 in any class: 500 FUN Ticket
- Reach Level 20 in any class: Lord Axeon / Nacht (Gunslash), 500 FUN Ticket.
- Reach Level 20 with Hunter: Tradicion / Nacht (Sword)
- Reach Level 20 with Ranger: Bouquet Rifle (Rifle)
- Reach Level 20 with Force: Pico Pico Hammer / Nacht (Rod)

- AC Scratch (and Gold) added. Rappy Suit and several other regular costumes will be available.
- Can purchase AC.
- Free My Room and My Shop access.
- Team Room and SOME additional Team features will be included in the Open Beta.

- Reach Level 10 with any class: EXP+50% Ticket (x2), Meseta+50% Ticket (x2).

Phantasy Star Online 2 Full Release
Start Date: June 26 2013
Available Fields: All previous fields + Normal & Hard Tundra, Tunnels and Floating Continent.
Available Emergency Quests: All previous EQs + Forest (Subdue Fang Banther), Caves (Volcanic Guerillas), Tunnels (Mega Mecha Awakening).
Level Cap: 40
- FI/GU/TE added.
- Subclassing added.
- Wind and Dark Techs added.
- Time Attack quests added
- Scratch rotation. Rappy Suit is out, Wedding scratch is in. More regular costumes will be added.
- My Room and My Shop must be purchased with AC (or obtained through FUN scratch tickets).
- All Team features will be added.
- EX Cube system and shop added.
- Photon Shop added.
- Badge system and shop added.
- Netcafe shop items will be distributed through AC, FUN, EX Cube, Photon and Badge shops, as the NC system has been removed from the English release.
- Campaigns and all other details are unknown at this time.
